but, when the flocks were late in bearing, he did not set them,—and so the late-born were Laban’s, but the strong ones Jacob’s.

Y cuando venían las ovejas tardías, no las ponía: así eran las tardías para Labán, y las tempranas para Jacob.

But when the cattle were feeble, he put them not in: so the feebler were Laban’s, and the stronger Jacob’s.
