Et quand les femelles avaient enfanté, il n'en plaçait plus. Il advint donc que les rejetons sans marque appartinrent à Laban ; ceux qui étaient marqués appartinrent à Jacob.

Y cuando venían las ovejas tardías, no las ponía: así eran las tardías para Labán, y las tempranas para Jacob.

But when the cattle were feeble, he put them not in: so the feebler were Laban’s, and the stronger Jacob’s.

but when the flock were feeble, he didn’t put them in. So the feebler were Laban’s, and the stronger Jacob’s.
