40Und Jakob schied die Lämmer aus, und er richtete das Gesicht der Herde auf das Gestreifte und alles Dunkelfarbige in der Herde Labans; und so machte er sich Herden besonders und tat sie nicht zu der Herde Labans.

40And Jacob did separate the lambs, and set the faces of the flocks toward the ringstraked, and all the brown in the flock of Laban; and he put his own flocks by themselves, and put them not unto Laban’s cattle.

40Jacob separated the lambs, and set the faces of the flocks toward the streaked and all the black in Laban’s flock. He put his own droves apart, and didn’t put them into Laban’s flock.
