So waren der Himmel und die Erde mit ihrem ganzen Heer vollendet.

Y FUERON acabados los cielos y la tierra, y todo su ornamento.

als es auf der Erde noch keine Sträucher auf dem Felde gab und noch keine Pflanzen auf den Fluren gewachsen waren, weil Gott der HERR noch keinen Regen auf die Erde hatte fallen lassen und auch noch keine Menschen da waren, um den Ackerboden zu bestellen –

Der zweite Strom heißt Gihon: dieser ist es, der das ganze Land Kusch umfließt.

And the name of the third river is Hiddekel: that is it which goeth toward the east of Assyria. And the fourth river is Euphrates.

Als nun Gott der HERR den Menschen genommen und ihn in den Garten Eden versetzt hatte, damit er ihn bestelle und behüte,

Hierauf sagte Gott der HERR: »Es ist nicht gut für den Menschen, daß er allein ist: ich will ihm eine Hilfe schaffen, die zu ihm paßt.«

Y dijo Jehová Dios: No es bueno que el hombre esté solo; haréle ayuda idónea para él.

And the LORD God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him.

Da bildete Gott der HERR aus Erde alle Tiere des Feldes und alle Vögel des Himmels und brachte sie zu dem Menschen, um zu sehen, wie er sie benennen würde; und wie der Mensch sie alle benennen würde, so sollten sie heißen.

Da ließ Gott der HERR einen tiefen Schlaf auf den Menschen fallen, so daß er einschlief; dann nahm er eine von seinen Rippen heraus und verschloß deren Stelle wieder mit Fleisch;

Y Jehová Dios hizo caer sueño sobre Adam, y se quedó dormido: entonces tomó una de sus costillas, y cerró la carne en su lugar;

And the LORD God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and he slept: and he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof;

The LORD God caused the man to fall into a deep sleep. As the man slept, he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh in its place.

die Rippe aber, die Gott aus dem Menschen genommen hatte, gestaltete er zu einem Weibe und führte dieses dem Menschen zu.

Y de la costilla que Jehová Dios tomó del hombre, hizo una mujer, y trájola al hombre.

And the rib, which the LORD God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man.

Da rief der Mensch aus: »Diese endlich ist es: Gebein von meinem Gebein und Fleisch von meinem Fleisch! Diese soll ›Männin‹ heißen; denn vom Manne ist diese genommen.«

Y dijo Adam: Esto es ahora hueso de mis huesos, y carne de mi carne: ésta será llamada Varona, porque del varón fué tomada.

And Adam said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man.

The man said, “This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh. She will be called ‘woman,’ because she was taken out of Man.”

Darum verläßt ein Mann seinen Vater und seine Mutter und hängt seinem Weibe an, und sie werden ein Fleisch sein.

Por tanto, dejará el hombre á su padre y á su madre, y allegarse ha á su mujer, y serán una sola carne.

Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh.

Und sie waren beide nackt, der Mensch und sein Weib, und doch schämten sie sich nicht (voreinander).
