So wurden vollendet der Himmel und die Erde und all ihre Vielfalt.

Y FUERON acabados los cielos y la tierra, y todo su ornamento.

Da feierte Gott am siebten Tage von seiner Arbeit, die er getan. Und er ruhte am siebten Tage ganz von seiner Arbeit, die er getan hatte.

Und der zweite Strom heißt Gichon, der das ganze Land Kusch umfließt.

Der Herr Gott nahm also den Menschen und setzte ihn in Edens Garten, daß er ihn bebaue und pflege.

Und der Herr Gott sprach: "Nicht gut ist es, daß der Mensch allein sei; ich will ihm eine Gehilfin schaffen, die ihm gleichgeartet ist."

And the LORD God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him.

Nun formte der Herr Gott aus dem Erdboden alle Tiere des Feldes und alle Vögel des Himmels. Diese brachte er zum Menschen, um zu sehen, wozu er sie bestimmte, und genau das wozu er ein Lebewesen bestimmte, sollte seine Bestimmung sein.

Da ließ der Herr Gott einen Tiefschlaf auf den Menschen sinken, und als dieser eingeschlafen, nahm er eine seiner Rippen und füllte ihre Lücke mit Fleisch.

Y Jehová Dios hizo caer sueño sobre Adam, y se quedó dormido: entonces tomó una de sus costillas, y cerró la carne en su lugar;

And the LORD God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and he slept: and he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof;

The LORD God caused the man to fall into a deep sleep. As the man slept, he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh in its place.

Dann baute der Herr Gott die Rippe, die er vom Menschen genommen, zu einem Weibe aus und brachte sie zum Menschen.

Y de la costilla que Jehová Dios tomó del hombre, hizo una mujer, y trájola al hombre.

And the rib, which the LORD God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man.

Da sprach der Mensch: "Diesmal ist es Bein von meinem Bein und Fleisch von meinem Fleisch. Deshalb heißt sie Weib, weil sie vom Manne genommen ist."

Y dijo Adam: Esto es ahora hueso de mis huesos, y carne de mi carne: ésta será llamada Varona, porque del varón fué tomada.

And Adam said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man.

The man said, “This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh. She will be called ‘woman,’ because she was taken out of Man.”

Darum läßt ein Mann Vater und Mutter und hängt sich an sein Weib, und sie werden Ein Leib.

Por tanto, dejará el hombre á su padre y á su madre, y allegarse ha á su mujer, y serán una sola carne.

Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh.

Die beiden aber, der Mensch und sein Weib, waren nackt; aber sie schämten sich nicht voreinander.
