Così furono compiuti i cieli e la terra, e tutto l’esercito di quelli.

Y FUERON acabados los cielos y la tierra, y todo su ornamento.

Ora, avendo Iddio compiuta nel settimo giorno l’opera sua, la quale egli avea fatta, si riposò nel settimo giorno da ogni sua opera, che egli avea fatta.

Y acabó Dios en el día séptimo su obra que hizo, y reposó el día séptimo de toda su obra que había hecho.

TALI furono le origini del cielo e della terra, quando quelle cose furono create, nel giorno che il Signore Iddio fece la terra e il cielo;

e ogni albero ed arboscello della campagna, avanti che ne fosse alcuno in su la terra; ed ogni erba della campagna, avanti che ne fosse germogliata alcuna; perciocchè il Signore Iddio non avea ancora fatto piovere in su la terra, e non v’era alcun uomo per lavorar la terra.

Or un vapore saliva dalla terra, che adacquava tutta la faccia della terra.

E il Signore Iddio fece germogliar dalla terra ogni sorta d’alberi piacevoli a riguardare, e buoni a mangiare; e l’albero della vita, in mezzo del giardino; e l’albero della conoscenza del bene e del male.

Y había Jehová Dios hecho nacer de la tierra todo árbol delicioso á la vista, y bueno para comer: también el árbol de vida en medio del huerto, y el árbol de ciencia del bien y del mal.

And out of the ground made the LORD God to grow every tree that is pleasant to the sight, and good for food; the tree of life also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of knowledge of good and evil.

E l’oro di quel paese è buono; quivi ancora si trovano le perle e la pietra onichina.

Y el oro de aquella tierra es bueno: hay allí también bdelio y piedra cornerina.

And the gold of that land is good: there is bdellium and the onyx stone.

E il nome del secondo fiume è Ghihon; questo è quello che circonda tutto il paese di Cus.

El nombre del segundo río es Gihón: éste es el que rodea toda la tierra de Etiopía.

And the name of the second river is Gihon: the same is it that compasseth the whole land of Ethiopia.

The name of the second river is Gihon. It is the same river that flows through the whole land of Cush.

E il nome del terzo fiume è Hiddechel; questo è quello che corre di rincontro all’Assiria. E il quarto fiume è l’Eufrate.

Y el nombre del tercer río es Hiddekel: éste es el que va delante de Asiria. Y el cuarto río es el Eufrates.

And the name of the third river is Hiddekel: that is it which goeth toward the east of Assyria. And the fourth river is Euphrates.

The name of the third river is Hiddekel. This is the one which flows in front of Assyria. The fourth river is the Euphrates.

Il Signore Iddio adunque prese l’uomo e lo pose nel giardino di Eden, per lavorarlo, e per guardarlo

Tomó, pues, Jehová Dios al hombre, y le puso en el huerto de Edén, para que lo labrara y lo guardase.

Ma non mangiar dell’albero della conoscenza del bene e del male; perciocchè, nel giorno che tu ne mangerai per certo tu morrai

Mas del árbol de ciencia del bien y del mal no comerás de él; porque el día que de él comieres, morirás.

But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.

but you shall not eat of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil; for in the day that you eat of it, you will surely die.”

Il Signore Iddio disse ancora: E’ non è bene che l’uomo sia solo; io gli farò un aiuto convenevole a lui.

Y dijo Jehová Dios: No es bueno que el hombre esté solo; haréle ayuda idónea para él.

And the LORD God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him.

The LORD God said, “It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make him a helper comparable to him.”

Or il Signore Iddio, avendo formate della terra tutte le bestie della campagna, e tutti gli uccelli del cielo, li menò ad Adamo, acciocchè vedesse qual nome porrebbe a ciascuno di essi; e che qualunque nome Adamo ponesse a ciascuno animale, esso fosse il suo nome.

Formó, pues, Jehová Dios de la tierra toda bestia del campo, y toda ave de los cielos, y trájolas á Adam, para que viese cómo les había de llamar; y todo lo que Adam llamó á los animales vivientes, ese es su nombre.

And out of the ground the LORD God formed every beast of the field, and every fowl of the air; and brought them unto Adam to see what he would call them: and whatsoever Adam called every living creature, that was the name thereof.

E Adamo pose nome ad ogni animal domestico, ed agli uccelli del cielo, e ad ogni fiera della campagna; ma non si trovava per Adamo aiuto convenevole a lui

Y puso Adam nombres á toda bestia y ave de los cielos y á todo animal del campo: mas para Adam no halló ayuda que estuviese idónea para él.

And Adam gave names to all cattle, and to the fowl of the air, and to every beast of the field; but for Adam there was not found an help meet for him.

The man gave names to all livestock, and to the birds of the sky, and to every animal of the field; but for man there was not found a helper comparable to him.

E il Signore Iddio fece cadere un profondo sonno sopra Adamo, onde egli si addormentò; e Iddio prese una delle coste di esso, e saldò la carne nel luogo di quella.

Y Jehová Dios hizo caer sueño sobre Adam, y se quedó dormido: entonces tomó una de sus costillas, y cerró la carne en su lugar;

And the LORD God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and he slept: and he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof;

The LORD God caused the man to fall into a deep sleep. As the man slept, he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh in its place.

E il Signore Iddio fabbricò una donna della costa che egli avea tolta ad Adamo, e la menò ad Adamo.

Y de la costilla que Jehová Dios tomó del hombre, hizo una mujer, y trájola al hombre.

And the rib, which the LORD God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man.

The LORD God made a woman from the rib which he had taken from the man, and brought her to the man.

E Adamo disse: A questa volta pure ecco osso delle mie ossa, e carne della mia carne; costei sarà chiamata femmina d’uomo, conciossiachè costei sia stata tolta dall’uomo.

Y dijo Adam: Esto es ahora hueso de mis huesos, y carne de mi carne: ésta será llamada Varona, porque del varón fué tomada.

And Adam said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man.

The man said, “This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh. She will be called ‘woman,’ because she was taken out of Man.”

Perciò l’uomo lascerà suo padre e sua madre, e si atterrà alla sua moglie, ed essi diverranno una stessa carne.

Por tanto, dejará el hombre á su padre y á su madre, y allegarse ha á su mujer, y serán una sola carne.

Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh.

Therefore a man will leave his father and his mother, and will join with his wife, and they will be one flesh.

Or amendue, Adamo e la sua moglie, erano ignudi, e non se ne vergognavano

Y estaban ambos desnudos, Adam y su mujer, y no se avergonzaban.

And they were both naked, the man and his wife, and were not ashamed.
