E l'uno e l'altra, Adamo cioè, e la sua moglie, erano ignudi; e non ne aveano vergogna. Per frode del serpente i progenitori trasgrediscono il comandamento di Dio. Promessa del Messia. Data a ciascuno di essi la sua pena, sono cacciati dal paradiso.
