E da questo luogo di delizie scaturiva un fiume ad inaffiare il paradiso, il qual (fiume) di là si divide in quattro capi.

Y salía de Edén un río para regar el huerto, y de allí se repartía en cuatro ramales.

And a river went out of Eden to water the garden; and from thence it was parted, and became into four heads.
