Risposer quelli: Nol possiam fare, fino a tanto che sien radunate tutte le pecore, e tolta dalla bocca del pozzo la pietra, si abbeverino tutti i greggi.

Y ellos respondieron: No podemos, hasta que se junten todos los ganados, y remuevan la piedra de sobre la boca del pozo, para que abrevemos las ovejas.

And they said, We cannot, until all the flocks be gathered together, and till they roll the stone from the well’s mouth; then we water the sheep.

They said, “We can’t, until all the flocks are gathered together, and they roll the stone from the well’s mouth. Then we will water the sheep.”
