Isaac ayant appelé Jacob, le bénit et lui donna ses ordres, disant : Tu ne prendras point femme parmi les filles des Chananéens.

ENTONCES Isaac llamó á Jacob, y bendíjolo, y mandóle diciendo: No tomes mujer de las hijas de Canaán.

And Isaac called Jacob, and blessed him, and charged him, and said unto him, Thou shalt not take a wife of the daughters of Canaan.

Lève-toi, va en Mésopotamie, dans la maison de Bathuel, père de ta mère, et ramènes-en pour toi une femme des filles de Laban, frère de Rébécca ;

Levántate, ve á Padan-aram, á casa de Bethuel, padre de tu madre, y toma allí mujer de las hijas de Labán, hermano de tu madre.

Arise, go to Padan-aram, to the house of Bethuel thy mother’s father; and take thee a wife from thence of the daughters of Laban thy mother’s brother.

Arise, go to Paddan Aram, to the house of Bethuel your mother’s father. Take a wife from there from the daughters of Laban, your mother’s brother.

Et mon Dieu te bénira, te grandira, te multipliera ; tu seras père d'une foule de nations.

Y el Dios omnipotente te bendiga, y te haga fructificar, y te multiplique, hasta venir á ser congregación de pueblos;

And God Almighty bless thee, and make thee fruitful, and multiply thee, that thou mayest be a multitude of people;

May God Almighty bless you, and make you fruitful, and multiply you, that you may be a company of peoples,

Qu'il te donne la bénédiction d'Abraham pour toi et ta postérité, afin que tu hérites de la terre où tu n'es que passager, et que Dieu a donnée à Abraham.

Y te dé la bendición de Abraham, y á tu simiente contigo, para que heredes la tierra de tus peregrinaciones, que Dios dió á Abraham.

And give thee the blessing of Abraham, to thee, and to thy seed with thee; that thou mayest inherit the land wherein thou art a stranger, which God gave unto Abraham.

and give you the blessing of Abraham, to you and to your offspring with you, that you may inherit the land where you travel, which God gave to Abraham.”

Isaac congédia ainsi Jacob, qui alla en Mésopotamie chez Laban, fils de Bathuel le Syrien, et frère de Rébécca, mère de Jacob et d'Esaü.

Así envió Isaac á Jacob, el cual fué á Padan-aram, á Labán, hijo de Bethuel Arameo, hermano de Rebeca, madre de Jacob y de Esaú.

And Isaac sent away Jacob: and he went to Padan-aram unto Laban, son of Bethuel the Syrian, the brother of Rebekah, Jacob’s and Esau’s mother.

Or, Esaü vit qu'Isaac avait béni Jacob, qu'il l'avait envoyé en Mésopotamie avec sa bénédiction, afin qu'il y prît femme, et qu'il lui avait donné ses ordres, disant : Tu ne prendras point femme parmi les filles des Chananéens.

Y vió Esaú cómo Isaac había bendecido á Jacob, y le había enviado á Padan-aram, para tomar para sí mujer de allí; y que cuando le bendijo, le había mandado, diciendo: No tomarás mujer de las hijas de Canaán;

When Esau saw that Isaac had blessed Jacob, and sent him away to Padan-aram, to take him a wife from thence; and that as he blessed him he gave him a charge, saying, Thou shalt not take a wife of the daughters of Canaan;

Now Esau saw that Isaac had blessed Jacob and sent him away to Paddan Aram, to take him a wife from there, and that as he blessed him he gave him a command, saying, “You shall not take a wife of the daughters of Canaan;”

Et que Jacob obéissant à son père et à sa mère, était parti pour la Mésopotamie syrienne.

Y que Jacob había obedecido á su padre y á su madre, y se había ido á Padan-aram.

And that Jacob obeyed his father and his mother, and was gone to Padan-aram;

and that Jacob obeyed his father and his mother, and was gone to Paddan Aram.

Esaü, voyant donc que les filles de Chanaan étaient méchantes aux yeux de son père Isaac,

Vió asimismo Esaú que las hijas de Canaán parecían mal á Isaac su padre;

And Esau seeing that the daughters of Canaan pleased not Isaac his father;

Esau saw that the daughters of Canaan didn’t please Isaac, his father.

s'en alla auprès d'Ismaël et prit pour femme, outre ses femmes, Maeleth, fille d'Ismaël, sœur de Nabeoth.

Y fuése Esaú á Ismael, y tomó para sí por mujer á Mahaleth, hija de Ismael, hijo de Abraham, hermana de Nabaioth, además de sus otras mujeres.

Then went Esau unto Ishmael, and took unto the wives which he had Mahalath the daughter of Ishmael Abraham’s son, the sister of Nebajoth, to be his wife.

So Esau went to Ishmael, and took, in addition to the wives that he had, Mahalath the daughter of Ishmael, Abraham’s son, the sister of Nebaioth, to be his wife.

Cependant Jacob, étant parti du puits du Serment, prit la route de Haran.

Y salió Jacob de Beer-seba, y fué á Harán;

And Jacob went out from Beer-sheba, and went toward Haran.

Et il arriva en un endroit où il se reposa, car le soleil était couché ; il prit des pierres, les plaça du côté de sa tête, et il se coucha en cet endroit.

Y encontró con un lugar, y durmió allí, porque ya el sol se había puesto: y tomó de las piedras de aquel paraje y puso á su cabecera, y acostóse en aquel lugar.

And he lighted upon a certain place, and tarried there all night, because the sun was set; and he took of the stones of that place, and put them for his pillows, and lay down in that place to sleep.

He came to a certain place, and stayed there all night, because the sun had set. He took one of the stones of the place, and put it under his head, and lay down in that place to sleep.

S'étant endormi, il vit une échelle plantée en terre dont l'extrémité atteignait le ciel, et sur cette échelle les anges de Dieu montaient et descendaient.

Y soñó, y he aquí una escala que estaba apoyada en tierra, y su cabeza tocaba en el cielo: y he aquí ángeles de Dios que subían y descendían por ella.

And he dreamed, and behold a ladder set up on the earth, and the top of it reached to heaven: and behold the angels of God ascending and descending on it.

He dreamed and saw a stairway set upon the earth, and its top reached to heaven. Behold, the angels of God were ascending and descending on it.

Et au-dessus de l'échelle se tenait le Seigneur, qui lui dit : Je suis le Dieu d'Abraham et le Dieu d'Isaac : n'aie point de crainte : la terre sur laquelle tu dors, je la donnerai à toi et à ta race.

Y he aquí, Jehová estaba en lo alto de ella, el cual dijo: Yo soy Jehová, el Dios de Abraham tu padre, y el Dios de Isaac: la tierra en que estás acostado te la daré á ti y á tu simiente.

And, behold, the LORD stood above it, and said, I am the LORD God of Abraham thy father, and the God of Isaac: the land whereon thou liest, to thee will I give it, and to thy seed;

Behold, the LORD stood above it, and said, “I am the LORD, the God of Abraham your father, and the God of Isaac. I will give the land you lie on to you and to your offspring.

Ta postérité sera comme le sable de la terre ; elle s'étendra à l'occident, au midi, au nord et à l'orient, et en toi et en ta race seront bénies toutes les tribus de la terre.

Y será tu simiente como el polvo de la tierra, y te extenderás al occidente, y al oriente, y al aquilón, y al mediodía; y todas las familias de la tierra serán benditas en ti y en tu simiente.

And thy seed shall be as the dust of the earth, and thou shalt spread abroad to the west, and to the east, and to the north, and to the south: and in thee and in thy seed shall all the families of the earth be blessed.

Your offspring will be as the dust of the earth, and you will spread abroad to the west, and to the east, and to the north, and to the south. In you and in your offspring, all the families of the earth will be blessed.

Je suis avec toi pour te garder en toute voie où tu marcheras ; je te ramènerai en cette terre, et je ne t'abandonnerai point que je n'aie accompli les choses que je t'ai dites.

Y he aquí, yo soy contigo, y te guardaré por donde quiera que fueres, y te volveré á esta tierra; porque no te dejaré hasta tanto que haya hecho lo que te he dicho.

And, behold, I am with thee, and will keep thee in all places whither thou goest, and will bring thee again into this land; for I will not leave thee, until I have done that which I have spoken to thee of.

Behold, I am with you, and will keep you, wherever you go, and will bring you again into this land. For I will not leave you until I have done that which I have spoken of to you.”

Jacob, en s'éveillant, s'écria : Le Seigneur est en ce lieu, et je ne le savais pas !

Y despertó Jacob de su sueño, y dijo: Ciertamente Jehová está en este lugar, y yo no lo sabía.

And Jacob awaked out of his sleep, and he said, Surely the LORD is in this place; and I knew it not.

Jacob awakened out of his sleep, and he said, “Surely the LORD is in this place, and I didn’t know it.”

Et il eut crainte, et il dit : Que ce lieu est redoutable ! Il n'est rien moins que la maison du Seigneur, et la porte même du ciel.

Y tuvo miedo, y dijo: ¡Cuán terrible es este lugar! No es otra cosa que casa de Dios, y puerta del cielo.

And he was afraid, and said, How dreadful is this place! this is none other but the house of God, and this is the gate of heaven.

He was afraid, and said, “How awesome this place is! This is none other than God’s house, and this is the gate of heaven.”

Jacob se, leva de grand matin, prit la pierre qu'il avait mise sous sa tête et la posa comme une colonne ; puis sur son sommet il répandit de l'huile.

Y levantóse Jacob de mañana, y tomó la piedra que había puesto de cabecera, y alzóla por título, y derramó aceite encima de ella.

And Jacob rose up early in the morning, and took the stone that he had put for his pillows, and set it up for a pillar, and poured oil upon the top of it.

Il donna à ce lieu le nom de maison du Seigneur (Béthel), car Ulam Luz était auparavant le nom qu'il portait,

Y llamó el nombre de aquel lugar Beth-el, bien que Luz era el nombre de la ciudad primero.

And he called the name of that place Beth-el: but the name of that city was called Luz at the first.

Et il fit un vœu, disant : Si le Seigneur Dieu est avec moi, s'il me garde en la voie où je marche, s'il me donne du pain à manger et des vêtements pour m'envelopper,

E hizo Jacob voto, diciendo: Si fuere Dios conmigo, y me guardare en este viaje que voy, y me diere pan para comer y vestido para vestir,

And Jacob vowed a vow, saying, If God will be with me, and will keep me in this way that I go, and will give me bread to eat, and raiment to put on,

S'il me ramène sain et sauf en la maison de mon père, le Seigneur sera mon Dieu.

Y si tornare en paz á casa de mi padre, Jehová será mi Dios,

So that I come again to my father’s house in peace; then shall the LORD be my God:

so that I come again to my father’s house in peace, and the LORD will be my God,

Et cette pierre que j'ai posée comme une colonne sera pour moi la maison de Dieu ; et de toutes les choses que vous me donnerez, Seigneur, je séparerai le dixième pour vous.

Y esta piedra que he puesto por título, será casa de Dios: y de todo lo que me dieres, el diezmo lo he de apartar para ti.

And this stone, which I have set for a pillar, shall be God’s house: and of all that thou shalt give me I will surely give the tenth unto thee.

then this stone, which I have set up for a pillar, will be God’s house. Of all that you will give me I will surely give a tenth to you.”
