Então Isaque chamou a Jacó, e o abençoou, e mandou-lhe dizendo: Não tomes mulher das filhas de Canaã.
ENTONCES Isaac llamó á Jacob, y bendíjolo, y mandóle diciendo: No tomes mujer de las hijas de Canaán.
And Isaac called Jacob, and blessed him, and charged him, and said unto him, Thou shalt not take a wife of the daughters of Canaan.

E o Deus Todo-Poderoso te abençoe e te faça frutificar, e te multiplique, até vir a ser congregação de povos;
Y el Dios omnipotente te bendiga, y te haga fructificar, y te multiplique, hasta venir á ser congregación de pueblos;
And God Almighty bless thee, and make thee fruitful, and multiply thee, that thou mayest be a multitude of people;

E te dê a bênção de Abraão, e à tua descendência contigo, para que herdes a terra de tuas peregrinações, que Deus deu a Abraão.

And give thee the blessing of Abraham, to thee, and to thy seed with thee; that thou mayest inherit the land wherein thou art a stranger, which God gave unto Abraham.

Assim enviou Isaque a Jacó, o qual foi a Padã-Arã, a Labão, filho de Betuel arameu, irmão de Rebeca, mãe de Jacó e de Esaú.
Así envió Isaac á Jacob, el cual fué á Padan-aram, á Labán, hijo de Bethuel Arameo, hermano de Rebeca, madre de Jacob y de Esaú.
And Isaac sent away Jacob: and he went to Padan-aram unto Laban, son of Bethuel the Syrian, the brother of Rebekah, Jacob’s and Esau’s mother.

E viu Esaú como Isaque havia abençoado a Jacó, e lhe havia enviado a Padã-Arã, para tomar para si mulher dali; e que quando lhe abençoou, lhe havia mandado, dizendo: Não tomarás mulher das filhas de Canaã;

When Esau saw that Isaac had blessed Jacob, and sent him away to Padan-aram, to take him a wife from thence; and that as he blessed him he gave him a charge, saying, Thou shalt not take a wife of the daughters of Canaan;

E que Jacó havia obedecido a seu pai e a sua mãe, e se havia ido a Padã-Arã.

Esaú viu que as filhas de Canaã pareciam mal ao seu pai Isaque.

Então Esaú foi a Ismael, e tomou para si por mulher, além de suas outras mulheres, a Maalate, filha de Ismael, filho de Abraão, irmã de Nebaiote.

Then went Esau unto Ishmael, and took unto the wives which he had Mahalath the daughter of Ishmael Abraham’s son, the sister of Nebajoth, to be his wife.

E Jacó saiu de Berseba, e foi a Harã;

ele chegou a um lugar, e ali dormiu, porque o sol já se havia posto. E tomou uma das pedras daquele lugar e a pôs por sua cabeceira, e deitou-se naquele lugar.

E sonhou, e eis uma escada que estava posta na terra, e seu topo tocava no céu; e eis que anjos de Deus subiam e desciam por ela.
Y soñó, y he aquí una escala que estaba apoyada en tierra, y su cabeza tocaba en el cielo: y he aquí ángeles de Dios que subían y descendían por ella.
And he dreamed, and behold a ladder set up on the earth, and the top of it reached to heaven: and behold the angels of God ascending and descending on it.

E eis que o SENHOR estava no alto dela, e disse: “Eu sou o SENHOR, o Deus de teu pai Abraão, e o Deus de Isaque; a terra em que estás deitado, eu a darei a ti e à tua descendência.
Y he aquí, Jehová estaba en lo alto de ella, el cual dijo: Yo soy Jehová, el Dios de Abraham tu padre, y el Dios de Isaac: la tierra en que estás acostado te la daré á ti y á tu simiente.
And, behold, the LORD stood above it, and said, I am the LORD God of Abraham thy father, and the God of Isaac: the land whereon thou liest, to thee will I give it, and to thy seed;

E a tua descendência será como o pó da terra, e te estenderás ao ocidente, ao oriente, ao norte, e ao sul; e todas as famílias da terra serão abençoadas em ti e na tua descendência.
Y será tu simiente como el polvo de la tierra, y te extenderás al occidente, y al oriente, y al aquilón, y al mediodía; y todas las familias de la tierra serán benditas en ti y en tu simiente.
And thy seed shall be as the dust of the earth, and thou shalt spread abroad to the west, and to the east, and to the north, and to the south: and in thee and in thy seed shall all the families of the earth be blessed.
Your offspring will be as the dust of the earth, and you will spread abroad to the west, and to the east, and to the north, and to the south. In you and in your offspring, all the families of the earth will be blessed.
E eis que eu estou contigo, e te guardarei por onde quer que fores, e te farei voltar a esta terra; porque não te deixarei, até que eu tenha feito o que te disse.”
Y he aquí, yo soy contigo, y te guardaré por donde quiera que fueres, y te volveré á esta tierra; porque no te dejaré hasta tanto que haya hecho lo que te he dicho.
And, behold, I am with thee, and will keep thee in all places whither thou goest, and will bring thee again into this land; for I will not leave thee, until I have done that which I have spoken to thee of.
Behold, I am with you, and will keep you, wherever you go, and will bring you again into this land. For I will not leave you until I have done that which I have spoken of to you.”
Jacó despertou-se de seu sonho, e disse: “Certamente o SENHOR está neste lugar, e eu não sabia.”
Y despertó Jacob de su sueño, y dijo: Ciertamente Jehová está en este lugar, y yo no lo sabía.
And Jacob awaked out of his sleep, and he said, Surely the LORD is in this place; and I knew it not.

E teve medo, e disse: “Quão temível é este lugar! Não é outra coisa, senão casa de Deus e porta do céu.”
Y tuvo miedo, y dijo: ¡Cuán terrible es este lugar! No es otra cosa que casa de Dios, y puerta del cielo.
And he was afraid, and said, How dreadful is this place! this is none other but the house of God, and this is the gate of heaven.

Jacó levantou-se de manhã cedo, tomou a pedra que havia colocado de cabeceira, e a pôs por coluna, e derramou azeite sobre ela.

E chamou o nome daquele lugar Betel, porém antes o nome da cidade era Luz.

E Jacó fez um voto, dizendo: “Se Deus for comigo, e me guardar nesta viagem que vou, e me der pão para comer e roupa para vestir,
E hizo Jacob voto, diciendo: Si fuere Dios conmigo, y me guardare en este viaje que voy, y me diere pan para comer y vestido para vestir,
And Jacob vowed a vow, saying, If God will be with me, and will keep me in this way that I go, and will give me bread to eat, and raiment to put on,

e se eu voltar em paz à casa de meu pai, o SENHOR será meu Deus,

e esta pedra que pus por coluna será casa de Deus; e de tudo o que me deres, darei a ti o dízimo.
Y esta piedra que he puesto por título, será casa de Dios: y de todo lo que me dieres, el diezmo lo he de apartar para ti.
And this stone, which I have set for a pillar, shall be God’s house: and of all that thou shalt give me I will surely give the tenth unto thee.
