Génesis 27

Und es begab sich, da Isaak alt war geworden und seine Augen dunkel wurden zu sehen, rief er Esau, seinen älteren Sohn, und sprach zu ihm: Mein Sohn! Er aber antwortete ihm: Hier bin ich.

Y ACONTECIÓ que cuando hubo Isaac envejecido, y sus ojos se ofuscaron quedando sin vista, llamó á Esaú, su hijo el mayor, y díjole: Mi hijo. Y él respondió: Heme aquí.

And it came to pass, that when Isaac was old, and his eyes were dim, so that he could not see, he called Esau his eldest son, and said unto him, My son: and he said unto him, Behold, here am I.

When Isaac was old, and his eyes were dim, so that he could not see, he called Esau his elder son, and said to him, “My son?” He said to him, “Here I am.”

Und er sprach: Siehe, ich bin alt geworden und weiß nicht, wann ich sterben soll.

And he said, Behold now, I am old, I know not the day of my death:

He said, “See now, I am old. I don’t know the day of my death.

So nimm nun dein Geräte, Köcher und Bogen, und geh aufs Feld und fange mir ein Wildbret

Toma, pues, ahora tus armas, tu aljaba y tu arco, y sal al campo, y cógeme caza;

Now therefore take, I pray thee, thy weapons, thy quiver and thy bow, and go out to the field, and take me some venison;

Now therefore, please take your weapons, your quiver and your bow, and go out to the field, and get me venison.

und mache mir ein Essen, wie ich's gern habe, und bringe mir's herein, daß ich esse, daß dich meine Seele segne, ehe ich sterbe.

Y hazme un guisado, como yo gusto, y tráemelo, y comeré; para que te bendiga mi alma antes que muera.

And make me savoury meat, such as I love, and bring it to me, that I may eat; that my soul may bless thee before I die.

Make me savory food, such as I love, and bring it to me, that I may eat, and that my soul may bless you before I die.”

Rebekka aber hörte solche Worte, die Isaak zu seinem Sohn Esau sagte. Und Esau ging hin aufs Feld, daß er ein Wildbret jagte und heimbrächte.

Y Rebeca estaba oyendo, cuando hablaba Isaac á Esaú su hijo: y fuése Esaú al campo para coger la caza que había de traer.

And Rebekah heard when Isaac spake to Esau his son. And Esau went to the field to hunt for venison, and to bring it.

Da sprach Rebekka zu Jakob, ihrem Sohn: Siehe, ich habe gehört deinen Vater reden mit Esau, deinem Bruder, und sagen:

Entonces Rebeca habló á Jacob su hijo, diciendo: He aquí yo he oído á tu padre que hablaba con Esaú tu hermano, diciendo:

And Rebekah spake unto Jacob her son, saying, Behold, I heard thy father speak unto Esau thy brother, saying,

Rebekah spoke to Jacob her son, saying, “Behold, I heard your father speak to Esau your brother, saying,

Bringe mir ein Wildbret und mache mir ein Essen, daß ich esse und dich segne vor dem HERRN, ehe ich sterbe.

Tráeme caza, y hazme un guisado, para que coma, y te bendiga delante de Jehová antes que yo muera.

Bring me venison, and make me savoury meat, that I may eat, and bless thee before the LORD before my death.

‘Bring me venison, and make me savory food, that I may eat, and bless you before the LORD before my death.’

So höre nun, mein Sohn, meine Stimme, was ich dich heiße.

Ahora pues, hijo mío, obedece á mi voz en lo que te mando;

Now therefore, my son, obey my voice according to that which I command thee.

Now therefore, my son, obey my voice according to that which I command you.

Gehe hin zur Herde und hole mir zwei gute Böcklein, daß ich deinem Vater ein Essen davon mache, wie er's gerne hat.

Ve ahora al ganado, y tráeme de allí dos buenos cabritos de las cabras, y haré de ellos viandas para tu padre, como él gusta;

Go now to the flock, and fetch me from thence two good kids of the goats; and I will make them savoury meat for thy father, such as he loveth:

Go now to the flock and get me two good young goats from there. I will make them savory food for your father, such as he loves.

Das sollst du deinem Vater hineintragen, daß er esse, auf daß er dich segne vor seinem Tode.

Y tú las llevarás á tu padre, y comerá, para que te bendiga antes de su muerte.

And thou shalt bring it to thy father, that he may eat, and that he may bless thee before his death.

You shall bring it to your father, that he may eat, so that he may bless you before his death.”

Jakob aber sprach zu seiner Mutter Rebekka: Siehe, mein Bruder Esau ist rauh, und ich glatt;

Y Jacob dijo á Rebeca su madre: He aquí, Esaú mi hermano es hombre velloso, y yo lampiño:

And Jacob said to Rebekah his mother, Behold, Esau my brother is a hairy man, and I am a smooth man:

Jacob said to Rebekah his mother, “Behold, Esau my brother is a hairy man, and I am a smooth man.

so möchte vielleicht mein Vater mich betasten, und ich würde vor ihm geachtet, als ob ich ihn betrügen wollte, und brächte über mich einen Fluch und nicht einen Segen.

Quizá me tentará mi padre, y me tendrá por burlador, y traeré sobre mí maldición y no bendición.

My father peradventure will feel me, and I shall seem to him as a deceiver; and I shall bring a curse upon me, and not a blessing.

What if my father touches me? I will seem to him as a deceiver, and I would bring a curse on myself, and not a blessing.”

Da sprach seine Mutter zu ihm: Der Fluch sei auf mir, mein Sohn; gehorche nur meiner Stimme, gehe und hole mir.

Y su madre respondió: Hijo mío, sobre mí tu maldición: solamente obedece á mi voz, y ve y tráemelos.

And his mother said unto him, Upon me be thy curse, my son: only obey my voice, and go fetch me them.

His mother said to him, “Let your curse be on me, my son. Only obey my voice, and go get them for me.”

Da ging er hin und holte und brachte es seiner Mutter. Da machte seine Mutter ein Essen, wie es sein Vater gern hatte,

Entonces él fué, y tomó, y trájolos á su madre: y su madre hizo guisados, como su padre gustaba.

And he went, and fetched, and brought them to his mother: and his mother made savoury meat, such as his father loved.

He went, and got them, and brought them to his mother. His mother made savory food, such as his father loved.

und nahm Esaus, ihres älteren Sohnes, köstliche Kleider, die sie bei sich im Hause hatte, und zog sie Jakob an, ihrem jüngeren Sohn;

Y tomó Rebeca los vestidos de Esaú su hijo mayor, los preciosos, que ella tenía en casa, y vistió á Jacob su hijo menor:

And Rebekah took goodly raiment of her eldest son Esau, which were with her in the house, and put them upon Jacob her younger son:

Rebekah took the good clothes of Esau, her elder son, which were with her in the house, and put them on Jacob, her younger son.

aber die Felle von den Böcklein tat sie um seine Hände, und wo er glatt war am Halse,

E hízole vestir sobre sus manos, y sobre la cerviz donde no tenía vello, las pieles de los cabritos de las cabras;

And she put the skins of the kids of the goats upon his hands, and upon the smooth of his neck:

She put the skins of the young goats on his hands, and on the smooth of his neck.

und gab also das Essen mit Brot, wie sie es gemacht hatte, in Jakobs Hand, ihres Sohnes.

Y entregó los guisados y el pan que había aderezado, en mano de Jacob su hijo.

And she gave the savoury meat and the bread, which she had prepared, into the hand of her son Jacob.

Und er ging hinein zu seinem Vater und sprach: Mein Vater! Er antwortete: Hier bin ich. Wer bist du, mein Sohn?

Y él fué á su padre, y dijo: Padre mío: y él respondió: Heme aquí, ¿quién eres, hijo mío?

And he came unto his father, and said, My father: and he said, Here am I; who art thou, my son?

He came to his father, and said, “My father?” He said, “Here I am. Who are you, my son?”

Jakob sprach zu seinem Vater: Ich bin Esau, dein erstgeborener Sohn; ich habe getan, wie du mir gesagt hast. Steh auf, setze dich und iß von meinem Wildbret, auf daß mich deine Seele segne.

Y Jacob dijo á su padre: Yo soy Esaú tu primogénito; he hecho como me dijiste: levántate ahora, y siéntate, y come de mi caza, para que me bendiga tu alma.

And Jacob said unto his father, I am Esau thy firstborn; I have done according as thou badest me: arise, I pray thee, sit and eat of my venison, that thy soul may bless me.

Jacob said to his father, “I am Esau your firstborn. I have done what you asked me to do. Please arise, sit and eat of my venison, that your soul may bless me.”

Isaak aber sprach zu seinem Sohn: Mein Sohn, wie hast du so bald gefunden? Er antwortete: Der HERR, dein Gott, bescherte mir's.

Entonces Isaac dijo á su hijo: ¿Cómo es que la hallaste tan presto, hijo mío? Y él respondió: Porque Jehová tu Dios hizo que se encontrase delante de mí.

And Isaac said unto his son, How is it that thou hast found it so quickly, my son? And he said, Because the LORD thy God brought it to me.

Isaac said to his son, “How is it that you have found it so quickly, my son?” He said, “Because the LORD your God gave me success.”

Da sprach Isaak zu Jakob: Tritt herzu, mein Sohn, daß ich dich betaste, ob du mein Sohn Esau seiest oder nicht.

E Isaac dijo á Jacob: Acércate ahora, y te palparé, hijo mío, por si eres mi hijo Esaú, ó no.

And Isaac said unto Jacob, Come near, I pray thee, that I may feel thee, my son, whether thou be my very son Esau or not.

Isaac said to Jacob, “Please come near, that I may feel you, my son, whether you are really my son Esau or not.”

Also trat Jakob zu seinem Vater Isaak; und da er ihn betastet hatte, sprach er: Die Stimme ist Jakobs Stimme, aber die Hände sind Esaus Hände.

Y llegóse Jacob á su padre Isaac; y él le palpó, y dijo: La voz es la voz de Jacob, mas las manos, las manos de Esaú.

And Jacob went near unto Isaac his father; and he felt him, and said, The voice is Jacob’s voice, but the hands are the hands of Esau.

Jacob went near to Isaac his father. He felt him, and said, “The voice is Jacob’s voice, but the hands are the hands of Esau.”

Und er kannte ihn nicht; denn seine Hände waren rauh wie Esaus, seines Bruders, Hände. Und er segnete ihn

Y no le conoció, porque sus manos eran vellosas como las manos de Esaú: y le bendijo.

And he discerned him not, because his hands were hairy, as his brother Esau’s hands: so he blessed him.

He didn’t recognize him, because his hands were hairy, like his brother Esau’s hands. So he blessed him.

und sprach zu ihm: Bist du mein Sohn Esau? Er antwortete: Ja, ich bin's.

Y dijo: ¿Eres tú mi hijo Esaú? Y él respondió: Yo soy.

And he said, Art thou my very son Esau? And he said, I am.

He said, “Are you really my son Esau?” He said, “I am.”

Da sprach er: So bringe mir her, mein Sohn, zu essen von deinem Wildbret, daß dich meine Seele segne. Da brachte er's ihm, und er aß, und trug ihm auch Wein hinein, und er trank.

Y dijo: Acércamela, y comeré de la caza de mi hijo, para que te bendiga mi alma; y él se la acercó, y comió: trájole también vino, y bebió.

And he said, Bring it near to me, and I will eat of my son’s venison, that my soul may bless thee. And he brought it near to him, and he did eat: and he brought him wine, and he drank.

He said, “Bring it near to me, and I will eat of my son’s venison, that my soul may bless you.” He brought it near to him, and he ate. He brought him wine, and he drank.

Und Isaak, sein Vater, sprach zu ihm: Komm her und küsse mich, mein Sohn.

Y díjole Isaac su padre: Acércate ahora, y bésame, hijo mío.

And his father Isaac said unto him, Come near now, and kiss me, my son.

His father Isaac said to him, “Come near now, and kiss me, my son.”

Er trat hinzu und küßte ihn. Da roch er den Geruch seiner Kleider und segnete ihn und sprach: Siehe, der Geruch meines Sohnes ist wie ein Geruch des Feldes, das der HERR gesegnet hat.

Y él se llegó, y le besó; y olió Isaac el olor de sus vestidos, y le bendijo, y dijo: Mira, el olor de mi hijo como el olor del campo que Jehová ha bendecido:

And he came near, and kissed him: and he smelled the smell of his raiment, and blessed him, and said, See, the smell of my son is as the smell of a field which the LORD hath blessed:

He came near, and kissed him. He smelled the smell of his clothing, and blessed him, and said, “Behold, the smell of my son is as the smell of a field which the LORD has blessed.

Gott gebe dir vom Tau des Himmels und von der Fettigkeit der Erde und Korn und Wein die Fülle.

Dios, pues, te dé del rocío del cielo, y de las grosuras de la tierra, y abundancia de trigo y de mosto.

Therefore God give thee of the dew of heaven, and the fatness of the earth, and plenty of corn and wine:

God give you of the dew of the sky, of the fatness of the earth, and plenty of grain and new wine.

Völker müssen dir dienen, und Leute müssen dir zu Fuße fallen. Sei ein Herr über deine Brüder, und deiner Mutter Kinder müssen dir zu Fuße fallen. Verflucht sei, wer dir flucht; gesegnet sei, wer dich segnet.

Sírvante pueblos, y naciones se inclinen á ti: sé señor de tus hermanos, e inclínense á ti los hijos de tu madre: malditos los que te maldijeren, y benditos los que te bendijeren.

Let people serve thee, and nations bow down to thee: be lord over thy brethren, and let thy mother’s sons bow down to thee: cursed be every one that curseth thee, and blessed be he that blesseth thee.

Let peoples serve you, and nations bow down to you. Be lord over your brothers. Let your mother’s sons bow down to you. Cursed be everyone who curses you. Blessed be everyone who blesses you.”

Als nun Isaak vollendet hatte den Segen über Jakob, und Jakob kaum hinausgegangen war von seinem Vater Isaak, da kam Esau, sein Bruder, von seiner Jagd

Y aconteció, luego que hubo Isaac acabado de bendecir á Jacob, y apenas había salido Jacob de delante de Isaac su padre, que Esaú su hermano vino de su caza.

And it came to pass, as soon as Isaac had made an end of blessing Jacob, and Jacob was yet scarce gone out from the presence of Isaac his father, that Esau his brother came in from his hunting.

As soon as Isaac had finished blessing Jacob, and Jacob had just gone out from the presence of Isaac his father, Esau his brother came in from his hunting.

und machte auch ein Essen und trug's hinein zu seinem Vater und sprach zu ihm: Steh auf, mein Vater, und iß von dem Wildbret deines Sohnes, daß mich deine Seele segne.

E hizo él también guisados, y trajo á su padre, y díjole: Levántese mi padre, y coma de la caza de su hijo, para que me bendiga tu alma.

And he also had made savoury meat, and brought it unto his father, and said unto his father, Let my father arise, and eat of his son’s venison, that thy soul may bless me.

He also made savory food, and brought it to his father. He said to his father, “Let my father arise, and eat of his son’s venison, that your soul may bless me.”

Da antwortete ihm Isaak, sein Vater: Wer bist du? Er sprach: Ich bin Esau, dein erstgeborener Sohn.

Entonces Isaac su padre le dijo: ¿Quién eres tú? Y él dijo: Yo soy tu hijo, tu primogénito, Esaú.

And Isaac his father said unto him, Who art thou? And he said, I am thy son, thy firstborn Esau.

Isaac his father said to him, “Who are you?” He said, “I am your son, your firstborn, Esau.”

Da entsetzte sich Isaak über die Maßen sehr und sprach: Wer ist denn der Jäger, der mir gebracht hat, und ich habe von allem gegessen, ehe du kamst, und habe ihn gesegnet? Er wird auch gesegnet bleiben.

Y estremecióse Isaac con grande estremecimiento, y dijo: ¿Quién es el que vino aquí, que cogió caza, y me trajo, y comí de todo antes que vinieses? Yo le bendije, y será bendito.

And Isaac trembled very exceedingly, and said, Who? where is he that hath taken venison, and brought it me, and I have eaten of all before thou camest, and have blessed him? yea, and he shall be blessed.

Isaac trembled violently, and said, “Who, then, is he who has taken venison, and brought it to me, and I have eaten of all before you came, and have blessed him? Yes, he will be blessed.”

Als Esau diese Rede seines Vaters hörte, schrie er laut und ward über die Maßen sehr betrübt und sprach zu seinem Vater: Segne mich auch, mein Vater!

Como Esaú oyó las palabras de su padre, clamó con una muy grande y muy amarga exclamación, y le dijo: Bendíceme también á mí, padre mío.

And when Esau heard the words of his father, he cried with a great and exceeding bitter cry, and said unto his father, Bless me, even me also, O my father.

When Esau heard the words of his father, he cried with an exceedingly great and bitter cry, and said to his father, “Bless me, even me also, my father.”

Er aber sprach: Dein Bruder ist gekommen mit List und hat deinen Segen hinweg.

Y él dijo: Vino tu hermano con engaño, y tomó tu bendición.

And he said, Thy brother came with subtilty, and hath taken away thy blessing.

He said, “Your brother came with deceit, and has taken away your blessing.”

Da sprach er: Er heißt wohl Jakob; denn er hat mich nun zweimal überlistet. Meine Erstgeburt hat er dahin; und siehe, nun nimmt er auch meinen Segen. Und sprach: Hast du mir denn keinen Segen vorbehalten?

Y él respondió: Bien llamaron su nombre Jacob, que ya me ha engañado dos veces; alzóse con mi primogenitura, y he aquí ahora ha tomado mi bendición. Y dijo: ¿No has guardado bendición para mí?

And he said, Is not he rightly named Jacob? for he hath supplanted me these two times: he took away my birthright; and, behold, now he hath taken away my blessing. And he said, Hast thou not reserved a blessing for me?

He said, “Isn’t he rightly named Jacob? For he has supplanted me these two times. He took away my birthright. See, now he has taken away my blessing.” He said, “Haven’t you reserved a blessing for me?”

Isaak antwortete und sprach zu ihm: Ich habe ihn zu Herrn über dich gesetzt, und alle seine Brüder habe ich ihm zu Knechten gemacht, mit Korn und Wein habe ich ihn versehen; was soll ich doch dir nun tun, mein Sohn?

Isaac respondió y dijo á Esaú: He aquí yo le he puesto por señor tuyo, y le he dado por siervos á todos sus hermanos: de trigo y de vino le he provisto: ¿qué, pues, te haré á ti ahora, hijo mío?

And Isaac answered and said unto Esau, Behold, I have made him thy lord, and all his brethren have I given to him for servants; and with corn and wine have I sustained him: and what shall I do now unto thee, my son?

Isaac answered Esau, “Behold, I have made him your lord, and all his brothers I have given to him for servants. I have sustained him with grain and new wine. What then will I do for you, my son?”

Esau sprach zu seinem Vater: Hast du denn nur einen Segen, mein Vater? Segne mich auch, mein Vater! und hob auf seine Stimme und weinte.

Y Esaú respondió á su padre: ¿No tienes más que una sola bendición, padre mío? bendíceme también á mí, padre mío. Y alzó Esaú su voz, y lloró.

And Esau said unto his father, Hast thou but one blessing, my father? bless me, even me also, O my father. And Esau lifted up his voice, and wept.

Esau said to his father, “Do you have just one blessing, my father? Bless me, even me also, my father.” Esau lifted up his voice, and wept.

Da antwortete Isaak, sein Vater, und sprach zu ihm: Siehe da, du wirst eine Wohnung haben ohne Fettigkeit der Erde und ohne Tau des Himmels von obenher.

Entonces Isaac su padre habló y díjole: He aquí será tu habitación en grosuras de la tierra, y del rocío de los cielos de arriba;

And Isaac his father answered and said unto him, Behold, thy dwelling shall be the fatness of the earth, and of the dew of heaven from above;

Isaac his father answered him, “Behold, your dwelling will be of the fatness of the earth, and of the dew of the sky from above.

Von deinem Schwerte wirst du dich nähren und deinem Bruder dienen. Und es wird geschehen, daß du auch ein Herr sein und sein Joch von deinem Halse reißen wirst.

Y por tu espada vivirás, y á tu hermano servirás: y sucederá cuando te enseñorees, que descargarás su yugo de tu cerviz.

And by thy sword shalt thou live, and shalt serve thy brother; and it shall come to pass when thou shalt have the dominion, that thou shalt break his yoke from off thy neck.

You will live by your sword, and you will serve your brother. It will happen, when you will break loose, that you will shake his yoke from off your neck.”

Und Esau war Jakob gram um des Segens willen, mit dem ihn sein Vater gesegnet hatte, und sprach in seinem Herzen: Es wird die Zeit bald kommen, da man um meinen Vater Leid tragen muß; dann will ich meinen Bruder Jakob erwürgen.

Y aborreció Esaú á Jacob por la bendición con que le había bendecido, y dijo en su corazón: Llegarán los días del luto de mi padre, y yo mataré á Jacob mi hermano.

And Esau hated Jacob because of the blessing wherewith his father blessed him: and Esau said in his heart, The days of mourning for my father are at hand; then will I slay my brother Jacob.

Esau hated Jacob because of the blessing with which his father blessed him. Esau said in his heart, “The days of mourning for my father are at hand. Then I will kill my brother Jacob.”

Da wurden Rebekka angesagt diese Worte ihres älteren Sohnes Esau; und sie schickte hin und ließ Jakob, ihren jüngeren Sohn, rufen und sprach zu ihm: Siehe, dein Bruder Esau droht dir, daß er dich erwürgen will.

Y fueron dichas á Rebeca las palabras de Esaú su hijo mayor: y ella envió y llamó á Jacob su hijo menor, y díjole: He aquí, Esaú tu hermano se consuela acerca de ti con la idea de matarte.

And these words of Esau her elder son were told to Rebekah: and she sent and called Jacob her younger son, and said unto him, Behold, thy brother Esau, as touching thee, doth comfort himself, purposing to kill thee.

The words of Esau, her elder son, were told to Rebekah. She sent and called Jacob, her younger son, and said to him, “Behold, your brother Esau comforts himself about you by planning to kill you.

Und nun höre meine Stimme, mein Sohn: Mache dich auf und fliehe zu meinem Bruder Laban gen Haran

Ahora pues, hijo mío, obedece á mi voz; levántate, y húyete á Labán mi hermano, á Harán;

Now therefore, my son, obey my voice; and arise, flee thou to Laban my brother to Haran;

Now therefore, my son, obey my voice. Arise, flee to Laban, my brother, in Haran.

und bleib eine Weile bei ihm, bis sich der Grimm deines Bruders legt

Y mora con él algunos días, hasta que el enojo de tu hermano se mitigue;

And tarry with him a few days, until thy brother’s fury turn away;

Stay with him a few days, until your brother’s fury turns away—

und bis sich sein Zorn wider dich von dir wendet und er vergißt, was du an ihm getan hast; so will ich darnach schicken und dich von dannen holen lassen. Warum sollte ich euer beider beraubt werden auf einen Tag?

Hasta que se aplaque la ira de tu hermano contra ti, y se olvide de lo que le has hecho: yo enviaré entonces, y te traeré de allá: ¿por qué seré privada de vosotros ambos en un día?

Until thy brother’s anger turn away from thee, and he forget that which thou hast done to him: then I will send, and fetch thee from thence: why should I be deprived also of you both in one day?

until your brother’s anger turns away from you, and he forgets what you have done to him. Then I will send, and get you from there. Why should I be bereaved of you both in one day?”

Und Rebekka sprach zu Isaak: Mich verdrießt, zu leben vor den Töchter Heth. Wo Jakob ein Weib nimmt von den Töchter Heth wie diese, von den Töchtern des Landes, was soll mir das Leben?

Y dijo Rebeca á Isaac: Fastidio tengo de mi vida, á causa de las hijas de Heth. Si Jacob toma mujer de las hijas de Heth, como éstas, de las hijas de esta tierra, ¿para qué quiero la vida?

And Rebekah said to Isaac, I am weary of my life because of the daughters of Heth: if Jacob take a wife of the daughters of Heth, such as these which are of the daughters of the land, what good shall my life do me?

Rebekah said to Isaac, “I am weary of my life because of the daughters of Heth. If Jacob takes a wife of the daughters of Heth, such as these, of the daughters of the land, what good will my life do me?”
