Por eso, Isaac le puso a ese pozo el nombre de Seba (Juramento). Por esta razón, aquella ciudad, hasta el día de hoy, lleva el nombre de Berseba.

Y llamólo Seba: por cuya causa el nombre de aquella ciudad es Beer-seba hasta este día.

And he called it Shebah: therefore the name of the city is Beer-sheba unto this day.

He called it “Shibah”. Therefore the name of the city is “Beersheba” to this day.
