Abraham tomó otra mujer, que se llamaba Cetura.

Y ABRAHAM tomó otra mujer, cuyo nombre fué Cetura;

Then again Abraham took a wife, and her name was Keturah.

Ella le dio a luz a Zimrán, a Jocsán, a Medán, a Madián, a Isbac y a Súa.

La cual le parió á Zimram, y á Joksan, y á Medan, y á Midiam, y á Ishbak, y á Sua.

And she bare him Zimran, and Jokshan, and Medan, and Midian, and Ishbak, and Shuah.

She bore him Zimran, Jokshan, Medan, Midian, Ishbak, and Shuah.

Jocsán engendró a Seba y a Dedán. Los hijos de Dedán fueron Asurim, Letusim y Leumim.

And Jokshan begat Sheba, and Dedan. And the sons of Dedan were Asshurim, and Letushim, and Leummim.

Los hijos de Madián fueron Efá, Efer, Hanoc, Abida y Eldá. Todos estos fueron hijos de Cetura.

E hijos de Midiam: Epha, y Epher, y Enech, y Abida, y Eldaa. Todos estos fueron hijos de Cetura.

And the sons of Midian; Ephah, and Epher, and Hanoch, and Abidah, and Eldaah. All these were the children of Keturah.

Abraham dio todo lo que tenía a Isaac,

Y Abraham dió todo cuanto tenía á Isaac.

pero a los hijos de sus concubinas les dio Abraham regalos; y mientras él aún vivía, los envió lejos de su hijo Isaac, hacia el este, a la tierra oriental.

Isaac e Ismael, sus hijos, lo sepultaron en la cueva de Macpela, en la heredad de Efrón, hijo de Zohar heteo, que está frente a Mamre,

la heredad que Abraham compró a los hijos de Het. Allí fue sepultado Abraham, junto con Sara, su mujer.

Y sucedió, después de la muerte de Abraham, que Dios bendijo a Isaac, su hijo. E Isaac habitó junto a Beer Lahai Roi.

And it came to pass after the death of Abraham, that God blessed his son Isaac; and Isaac dwelt by the well Lahai-roi.

Éstas son las generaciones de Ismael, hijo de Abraham, el que Agar la egipcia, sierva de Sara, le dio a luz a Abraham.

Y habitaron desde Havila hasta Shur, que está frente a Egipto, en dirección a Asiria. Y se estableció frente a todos sus hermanos.

And they dwelt from Havilah unto Shur, that is before Egypt, as thou goest toward Assyria: and he died in the presence of all his brethren.

E Isaac tenía cuarenta años cuando tomó por mujer a Rebeca, hija de Betuel el arameo de Padán Aram, hermana de Labán el arameo.

Y era Isaac de cuarenta años cuando tomó por mujer á Rebeca, hija de Bethuel Arameo de Padan-aram, hermana de Labán Arameo.

And Isaac was forty years old when he took Rebekah to wife, the daughter of Bethuel the Syrian of Padan-aram, the sister to Laban the Syrian.

E Isaac rogó a Yahvé por su mujer, porque era estéril. Y Yahvé aceptó su ruego, y Rebeca, su mujer, concibió.

Y Yahvé le respondió: «Dos naciones hay en tu vientre, y dos pueblos serán divididos desde tus entrañas. Un pueblo será más fuerte que el otro, y el mayor servirá al menor».

Y respondióle Jehová: Dos gentes hay en tu seno, y dos pueblos serán divididos desde tus entrañas: y el un pueblo será más fuerte que el otro pueblo, y el mayor servirá al menor.

And the LORD said unto her, Two nations are in thy womb, and two manner of people shall be separated from thy bowels; and the one people shall be stronger than the other people; and the elder shall serve the younger.

The LORD said to her, “Two nations are in your womb. Two peoples will be separated from your body. The one people will be stronger than the other people. The elder will serve the younger.”

And after that came his brother out, and his hand took hold on Esau’s heel; and his name was called Jacob: and Isaac was threescore years old when she bare them.

And the boys grew: and Esau was a cunning hunter, a man of the field; and Jacob was a plain man, dwelling in tents.

E Isaac amaba a Esaú, porque comía de su caza; mas Rebeca amaba a Jacob.

Y amó Isaac á Esaú, porque comía de su caza; mas Rebeca amaba á Jacob.

And Isaac loved Esau, because he did eat of his venison: but Rebekah loved Jacob.

dijo Esaú a Jacob: «Te ruego que me des a comer de ese guiso rojo, pues estoy muy cansado». Por eso su nombre fue llamado Edom.

And Esau said to Jacob, Feed me, I pray thee, with that same red pottage; for I am faint: therefore was his name called Edom.

And Esau said, Behold, I am at the point to die: and what profit shall this birthright do to me?

And Jacob said, Swear to me this day; and he sware unto him: and he sold his birthright unto Jacob.

Jacob said, “Swear to me first.” He swore to him. He sold his birthright to Jacob.

Entonces Jacob dio a Esaú pan y del guisado de las lentejas; y él comió y bebió, y se levantó y se fue. Así menospreció Esaú la primogenitura.
