Y Abraham tomó otra mujer llamada Cetura.

Y ABRAHAM tomó otra mujer, cuyo nombre fué Cetura;

Then again Abraham took a wife, and her name was Keturah.

Ella se convirtió en la madre de Zimran, Jocsan, Medán, Madián, Isbac y Súa.

La cual le parió á Zimram, y á Joksan, y á Medan, y á Midiam, y á Ishbak, y á Sua.

And she bare him Zimran, and Jokshan, and Medan, and Midian, and Ishbak, and Shuah.

She bore him Zimran, Jokshan, Medan, Midian, Ishbak, and Shuah.

Y Jocsan, llegó a ser padre de Seba y Dedán, Y de Dedán vinieron los Asurim y Letusim y Leumim.

Y Joksan engendró á Seba, y á Dedán: é hijos de Dedán fueron Assurim, y Letusim, y Leummim.

And Jokshan begat Sheba, and Dedan. And the sons of Dedan were Asshurim, and Letushim, and Leummim.

Jokshan became the father of Sheba, and Dedan. The sons of Dedan were Asshurim, Letushim, and Leummim.

Y de Madián vinieron Efa, Efer, Hanoc, Abida y Elda. Todos estos fueron descendientes de Cetura.

E hijos de Midiam: Epha, y Epher, y Enech, y Abida, y Eldaa. Todos estos fueron hijos de Cetura.

And the sons of Midian; Ephah, and Epher, and Hanoch, and Abidah, and Eldaah. All these were the children of Keturah.

Ahora bien, Abraham le dio todas sus propiedades a Isaac;

Y Abraham dió todo cuanto tenía á Isaac.

Pero a los hijos de sus otras mujeres, él les dio ofrendas, y los envió lejos, mientras aún vivía, a la región oriental.

Y á los hijos de sus concubinas dió Abraham dones, y enviólos de junto Isaac su hijo, mientras él vivía, hacia el oriente, á la tierra oriental.

But unto the sons of the concubines, which Abraham had, Abraham gave gifts, and sent them away from Isaac his son, while he yet lived, eastward, unto the east country.

Y Abraham llegó a su muerte, un anciano, lleno de años; y él fue sepultado con su pueblo.

El mismo campo que Abraham obtuvo de los hijos de Het: allí Abraham fue sepultado con Sara, su esposa.

Heredad que compró Abraham de los hijos de Heth; allí fué Abraham sepultado, y Sara su mujer.

The field which Abraham purchased of the sons of Heth: there was Abraham buried, and Sarah his wife.

Después de la muerte de Abraham, la bendición de Dios fue con Isaac, su hijo; y Gabito cerca al pozo Beer-Lahai-roi.

Y sucedió, después de muerto Abraham, que Dios bendijo á Isaac su hijo: y habitó Isaac junto al pozo del Viviente que me ve.

And it came to pass after the death of Abraham, that God blessed his son Isaac; and Isaac dwelt by the well Lahai-roi.

Y su tierra fué desde Havila hasta Shur, que está al oriente de Egipto; y tomaron su lugar al oriente de todos sus hermanos.

And they dwelt from Havilah unto Shur, that is before Egypt, as thou goest toward Assyria: and he died in the presence of all his brethren.

Isaac tenía cuarenta años cuando tomó por mujer a Rebeca, hija de Betuel arameo de Padan-aram, y hermana de Labán arameo.

Y era Isaac de cuarenta años cuando tomó por mujer á Rebeca, hija de Bethuel Arameo de Padan-aram, hermana de Labán Arameo.

And Isaac was forty years old when he took Rebekah to wife, the daughter of Bethuel the Syrian of Padan-aram, the sister to Laban the Syrian.

Isaac oró al Señor por su esposa porque ella no tenía hijos; y el Señor oyó su oración, y Rebeca quedó encinta.

Y los niños peleaban juntos dentro de ella, y ella dijo: Si es así, ¿para qué vivo yo? Entonces ella fue a hacerle su pregunta al Señor.

And the children struggled together within her; and she said, If it be so, why am I thus? And she went to enquire of the LORD.

Y el Señor le dijo: Dos naciones hay en tu cuerpo, y dos pueblos nacerán de ti; el uno será más fuerte que el otro, y el mayor será el criado del menor.

Y respondióle Jehová: Dos gentes hay en tu seno, y dos pueblos serán divididos desde tus entrañas: y el un pueblo será más fuerte que el otro pueblo, y el mayor servirá al menor.

And the LORD said unto her, Two nations are in thy womb, and two manner of people shall be separated from thy bowels; and the one people shall be stronger than the other people; and the elder shall serve the younger.

The LORD said to her, “Two nations are in your womb. Two peoples will be separated from your body. The one people will be stronger than the other people. The elder will serve the younger.”

Y cuando llegó el momento de dar a luz, había dos niños en su cuerpo.

And after that came his brother out, and his hand took hold on Esau’s heel; and his name was called Jacob: and Isaac was threescore years old when she bare them.

Y los muchachos alcanzaron su pleno crecimiento; y Esaú se convirtió en un hombre del campo abierto, un experto arquero; pero Jacob era un hombre callado, viviendo en tiendas de campaña.

Y crecieron los niños, y Esaú fué diestro en la caza, hombre del campo: Jacob empero era varón quieto, que habitaba en tiendas.

And the boys grew: and Esau was a cunning hunter, a man of the field; and Jacob was a plain man, dwelling in tents.

Y el amor de Isaac fue para Esaú, porque la carne de Esaú era grande para su gusto; pero Rebeca tenía más amor por Jacob.

Y amó Isaac á Esaú, porque comía de su caza; mas Rebeca amaba á Jacob.

And Isaac loved Esau, because he did eat of his venison: but Rebekah loved Jacob.

Y un día Jacob estaba cocinando una sopa cuando Esaú vino de los campos con gran necesidad de alimento;

Y guisó Jacob un potaje; y volviendo Esaú del campo cansado,

And Jacob sod pottage: and Esau came from the field, and he was faint:

Jacob boiled stew. Esau came in from the field, and he was famished.

Y Esaú dijo a Jacob: Dame una comida completa de esa sopa roja, porque estoy abrumado por tanta hambre que tengo; por esta razón fue llamado Edom.

Dijo á Jacob: Ruégote que me des á comer de eso bermejo, pues estoy muy cansado. Por tanto fué llamado su nombre Edom.

And Esau said to Jacob, Feed me, I pray thee, with that same red pottage; for I am faint: therefore was his name called Edom.

Esau said to Jacob, “Please feed me with some of that red stew, for I am famished.” Therefore his name was called Edom.

Y Jacob dijo: Antes que nada, dame tu primogenitura.

And Jacob said, Sell me this day thy birthright.

Jacob said, “First, sell me your birthright.”

Y dijo Esaú: Verdaderamente, estoy en el momento de la muerte: ¿de qué me sirve la primogenitura?

Entonces dijo Esaú: He aquí yo me voy á morir; ¿para qué, pues, me servirá la primogenitura?

And Esau said, Behold, I am at the point to die: and what profit shall this birthright do to me?

Esau said, “Behold, I am about to die. What good is the birthright to me?”

Y Jacob dijo: Antes que nada, dame tu juramento; y él le dio su juramento, entregando su primogenitura a Jacob.

Y dijo Jacob: Júramelo en este día. Y él le juró, y vendió á Jacob su primogenitura.

And Jacob said, Swear to me this day; and he sware unto him: and he sold his birthright unto Jacob.

Jacob said, “Swear to me first.” He swore to him. He sold his birthright to Jacob.

Entonces Jacob le dio pan y sopa; y él tomó comida y bebida y se fue, así menospreció Esaú su primogenitura.

Entonces Jacob dió á Esaú pan y del guisado de las lentejas; y él comió y bebió, y levantóse, y fuése. Así menospreció Esaú la primogenitura.

Then Jacob gave Esau bread and pottage of lentiles; and he did eat and drink, and rose up, and went his way: thus Esau despised his birthright.
