41Tu seras dégagé du serment que je te fais faire une fois que tu te seras rendu dans ma parenté ; si on ne te la donne pas, tu seras dégagé du serment que je te fais faire.

41Then shalt thou be clear from this my oath, when thou comest to my kindred; and if they give not thee one, thou shalt be clear from my oath.

41Then you will be clear from my oath, when you come to my relatives. If they don’t give her to you, you shall be clear from my oath.’
