E foi a vida de Sara cento e vinte e sete anos; estes foram os anos da vida de Sara.

Y FUÉ la vida de Sara ciento veintisiete años: tantos fueron los años de la vida de Sara.

And Sarah was an hundred and seven and twenty years old: these were the years of the life of Sarah.

Sarah lived one hundred twenty-seven years. This was the length of Sarah’s life.

E morreu Sara em Quiriate-Arba, que é Hebrom, na terra de Canaã; e Abraão veio para ficar de luto por Sara e para chorar por ela.

Y murió Sara en Kiriath-arba, que es Hebrón, en la tierra de Canaán: y vino Abraham á hacer el duelo á Sara, y á llorarla.

And Sarah died in Kirjath-arba; the same is Hebron in the land of Canaan: and Abraham came to mourn for Sarah, and to weep for her.

Sarah died in Kiriath Arba (also called Hebron), in the land of Canaan. Abraham came to mourn for Sarah, and to weep for her.

E levantou-se Abraão de diante de sua morta, e falou aos filhos de Hete, dizendo:

Y levantóse Abraham de delante de su muerto, y habló á los hijos de Heth, diciendo:

And Abraham stood up from before his dead, and spake unto the sons of Heth, saying,

Abraham rose up from before his dead and spoke to the children of Heth, saying,

Peregrino e estrangeiro sou entre vós; dá-me propriedade de sepultura convosco, e sepultarei minha falecida de diante de mim.

Peregrino y advenedizo soy entre vosotros; dadme heredad de sepultura con vosotros, y sepultaré mi muerto de delante de mí.

I am a stranger and a sojourner with you: give me a possession of a buryingplace with you, that I may bury my dead out of my sight.

“I am a stranger and a foreigner living with you. Give me a possession of a burying-place with you, that I may bury my dead out of my sight.”

E responderam os filhos de Hete a Abraão, e disseram-lhe:

Y respondieron los hijos de Heth á Abraham, y dijéronle:

And the children of Heth answered Abraham, saying unto him,

The children of Heth answered Abraham, saying to him,

Ouve-nos, senhor meu, és um príncipe de Deus entre nós; no melhor de nossas sepulturas sepulta a tua falecida; nenhum de nós te impedirá sua sepultura, para que enterres tua falecida.

Oyenos, señor mío, eres un príncipe de Dios entre nosotros; en lo mejor de nuestras sepulturas sepulta á tu muerto; ninguno de nosotros te impedirá su sepultura, para que entierres tu muerto.

Hear us, my lord: thou art a mighty prince among us: in the choice of our sepulchres bury thy dead; none of us shall withhold from thee his sepulchre, but that thou mayest bury thy dead.

“Hear us, my lord. You are a prince of God among us. Bury your dead in the best of our tombs. None of us will withhold from you his tomb. Bury your dead.”

E Abraão se levantou, e inclinou-se ao povo daquela terra, aos filhos de Hete;

Y Abraham se levantó, é inclinóse al pueblo de aquella tierra, á los hijos de Heth;

And Abraham stood up, and bowed himself to the people of the land, even to the children of Heth.

Abraham rose up, and bowed himself to the people of the land, to the children of Heth.

E falou com eles, dizendo: Se queres que eu sepulte minha falecida de diante de mim, ouvi-me, e intercedei por mim com Efrom, filho de Zoar,

Y habló con ellos, diciendo: Si tenéis voluntad que yo sepulte mi muerto de delante de mí, oidme, é interceded por mí con Ephrón, hijo de Zohar,

And he communed with them, saying, If it be your mind that I should bury my dead out of my sight; hear me, and intreat for me to Ephron the son of Zohar,

He talked with them, saying, “If you agree that I should bury my dead out of my sight, hear me, and entreat for me to Ephron the son of Zohar,

Para que me dê a caverna de Macpela, que tem na extremidade de sua propriedade: que por seu justo preço a dê a mim, para possessão de sepultura em meio de vós.

Para que me dé la cueva de Macpela, que tiene al cabo de su heredad: que por su justo precio me la dé, para posesión de sepultura en medio de vosotros.

That he may give me the cave of Machpelah, which he hath, which is in the end of his field; for as much money as it is worth he shall give it me for a possession of a buryingplace amongst you.

that he may sell me the cave of Machpelah, which he has, which is in the end of his field. For the full price let him sell it to me among you as a possession for a burial place.”

Este Efrom achava-se entre os filhos de Hete: e respondeu Efrom Heteu a Abraão, aos ouvidos dos filhos de Hete, de todos os que entravam pela porta de sua cidade, dizendo:

Este Ephrón hallábase entre los hijos de Heth: y respondió Ephrón Hetheo á Abraham, en oídos de los hijos de Heth, de todos los que entraban por la puerta de su ciudad, diciendo:

And Ephron dwelt among the children of Heth: and Ephron the Hittite answered Abraham in the audience of the children of Heth, even of all that went in at the gate of his city, saying,

Now Ephron was sitting in the middle of the children of Heth. Ephron the Hittite answered Abraham in the hearing of the children of Heth, even of all who went in at the gate of his city, saying,

Não, senhor meu, ouve-me: eu te dou a propriedade, e te dou também a caverna que está nela; diante dos filhos de meu povo a dou a ti; sepulta tua falecida.

No, señor mío, óyeme: te doy la heredad, y te doy también la cueva que está en ella; delante de los hijos de mi pueblo te la doy; sepulta tu muerto.

Nay, my lord, hear me: the field give I thee, and the cave that is therein, I give it thee; in the presence of the sons of my people give I it thee: bury thy dead.

“No, my lord, hear me. I give you the field, and I give you the cave that is in it. In the presence of the children of my people I give it to you. Bury your dead.”

E Abraão se inclinou diante do povo da terra.

Y Abraham se inclinó delante del pueblo de la tierra.

And Abraham bowed down himself before the people of the land.

E respondeu a Efrom aos ouvidos do povo da terra, dizendo: Antes, se for do teu agrado, rogo-te que me ouças; eu darei o preço da propriedade, toma-o de mim, e sepultarei nela minha falecida.

Y respondió á Ephrón en oídos del pueblo de la tierra, diciendo: Antes, si te place, ruégote que me oigas; yo daré el precio de la heredad, tómalo de mí, y sepultaré en ella mi muerto.

And he spake unto Ephron in the audience of the people of the land, saying, But if thou wilt give it, I pray thee, hear me: I will give thee money for the field; take it of me, and I will bury my dead there.

He spoke to Ephron in the audience of the people of the land, saying, “But if you will, please hear me. I will give the price of the field. Take it from me, and I will bury my dead there.”

E respondeu Efrom a Abraão, dizendo-lhe:

Y respondió Ephrón á Abraham, diciéndole:

And Ephron answered Abraham, saying unto him,

Ephron answered Abraham, saying to him,

Senhor meu, escuta-me: a terra vale quatrocentos siclos de prata: que é isto entre mim e ti? Enterra, pois, tua falecida.

Señor mío, escúchame: la tierra vale cuatrocientos siclos de plata: ¿qué es esto entre mí y ti? entierra pues tu muerto.

My lord, hearken unto me: the land is worth four hundred shekels of silver; what is that betwixt me and thee? bury therefore thy dead.

“My lord, listen to me. What is a piece of land worth four hundred shekels of silver between me and you? Therefore bury your dead.”

Então Abraão concordou com Efrom, e pesou Abraão a Efrom o dinheiro que disse, ouvindo-o os filhos de Hete, quatrocentos siclos de prata, de acordo com o padrão dos mercadores.

Entonces Abraham se convino con Ephrón, y pesó Abraham á Ephrón el dinero que dijo, oyéndolo los hijos de Heth, cuatrocientos siclos de plata, de buena ley entre mercaderes.

And Abraham hearkened unto Ephron; and Abraham weighed to Ephron the silver, which he had named in the audience of the sons of Heth, four hundred shekels of silver, current money with the merchant.

Abraham listened to Ephron. Abraham weighed to Ephron the silver which he had named in the hearing of the children of Heth, four hundred shekels of silver, according to the current merchants’ standard.

E ficou a propriedade de Efrom que estava em Macpela em frente de Manre, a propriedade e a caverna que estava nela, e todas as árvores que havia na herança, e em todo o seu termo ao derredor,

Y quedó la heredad de Ephrón que estaba en Macpela enfrente de Mamre, la heredad y la cueva que estaba en ella, y todos los árboles que había en la heredad, y en todo su término al derredor,

And the field of Ephron, which was in Machpelah, which was before Mamre, the field, and the cave which was therein, and all the trees that were in the field, that were in all the borders round about, were made sure

So the field of Ephron, which was in Machpelah, which was before Mamre, the field, the cave which was in it, and all the trees that were in the field, that were in all of its borders, were deeded

Para Abraão em possessão, à vista dos filhos de Hete, e de todos os que entravam pela porta da cidade.

Por de Abraham en posesión, á vista de los hijos de Heth, y de todos los que entraban por la puerta de la ciudad.

Unto Abraham for a possession in the presence of the children of Heth, before all that went in at the gate of his city.

E depois disto sepultou Abraão a Sara, sua mulher, na caverna da propriedade de Macpela em frente de Manre, que é Hebrom na terra de Canaã.

Y después de esto sepultó Abraham á Sara su mujer en la cueva de la heredad de Macpela enfrente de Mamre, que es Hebrón en la tierra de Canaán.

And after this, Abraham buried Sarah his wife in the cave of the field of Machpelah before Mamre: the same is Hebron in the land of Canaan.

After this, Abraham buried Sarah his wife in the cave of the field of Machpelah before Mamre (that is, Hebron), in the land of Canaan.

E ficou a propriedade e a caverna que nela havia, para Abraão, em possessão de sepultura adquirida dos filhos de Hete.

Y quedó la heredad y la cueva que en ella había, por de Abraham, en posesión de sepultura adquirida de los hijos de Heth.

And the field, and the cave that is therein, were made sure unto Abraham for a possession of a buryingplace by the sons of Heth.

The field, and the cave that is in it, were deeded to Abraham by the children of Heth as a possession for a burial place.
