NACH diesen Begebenheiten wollte Gott den Abraham prüfen. Er sprach zu ihm: Abraham! Er antwortete: Hier bin ich!
Y ACONTECIÓ después de estas cosas, que tentó Dios á Abraham, y le dijo: Abraham. Y él respondió: Heme aquí.
And it came to pass after these things, that God did tempt Abraham, and said unto him, Abraham: and he said, Behold, here I am.
After these things, God tested Abraham, and said to him, “Abraham!” He said, “Here I am.”
Er sprach: Nimm deinen Sohn, deinen einzigen, den du liebhast, den Isaak, und gehe hin ins Land Moria und opfere ihn daselbst als Brandopfer auf einem der Berge, den ich dir nennen werde.

And he said, Take now thy son, thine only son Isaac, whom thou lovest, and get thee into the land of Moriah; and offer him there for a burnt offering upon one of the mountains which I will tell thee of.
He said, “Now take your son, your only son, Isaac, whom you love, and go into the land of Moriah. Offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains which I will tell you of.”
Da bepackte Abraham am andern Morgen in der Frühe seinen Esel und nahm seine beiden Knechte und seinen Sohn Isaak mit sich; und er spaltete das Holz zum Brandopfer, machte sich auf und ging an den Ort, den ihm Gott genannt hatte.

Entonces habló Isaac á Abraham su padre, y dijo: Padre mío. Y él respondió: Heme aquí, mi hijo. Y él dijo: He aquí el fuego y la leña; mas ¿dónde está el cordero para el holocausto?
And Isaac spake unto Abraham his father, and said, My father: and he said, Here am I, my son. And he said, Behold the fire and the wood: but where is the lamb for a burnt offering?

Abraham antwortete: Gott wird sich das Lamm zum Opfer selbst ersehen, mein Sohn. So gingen die beiden miteinander.

Wie nun Abraham seine Augen erhob, sah er einen Widder, der sich mit seinen Hörnern im Gebüsch verfangen hatte. Da ging Abraham hin, nahm den Widder und opferte ihn als Brandopfer anstatt seines Sohnes.

darum will ich dich segnen und dein Geschlecht so zahlreich machen wie die Sterne des Himmels und wie den Sand am Gestade des Meeres, und dein Geschlecht wird das Tor seiner Feinde besitzen;
Bendiciendo te bendeciré, y multiplicando multiplicaré tu simiente como las estrellas del cielo, y como la arena que está á la orilla del mar; y tu simiente poseerá las puertas de sus enemigos:
That in blessing I will bless thee, and in multiplying I will multiply thy seed as the stars of the heaven, and as the sand which is upon the sea shore; and thy seed shall possess the gate of his enemies;
that I will bless you greatly, and I will multiply your offspring greatly like the stars of the heavens, and like the sand which is on the seashore. Your offspring will possess the gate of his enemies.

Hierauf kehrte Abraham zu seinen Knechten zurück, und sie machten sich auf und zogen zusammen nach Beerseba, und Abraham blieb in Beerseba wohnen.

Y aconteció después de estas cosas, que fué dada nueva á Abraham, diciendo: He aquí que también Milca ha parido hijos á Nachôr tu hermano:
And it came to pass after these things, that it was told Abraham, saying, Behold, Milcah, she hath also born children unto thy brother Nahor;

Bethuel aber hat die Rebekka gezeugt. Diese acht gebar Milka dem Nahor, dem Bruder Abrahams;
Y Bethuel engendró á Rebeca. Estos ocho parió Milca á Nachôr, hermano de Abraham.
And Bethuel begat Rebekah: these eight Milcah did bear to Nahor, Abraham’s brother.

und seine Nebenfrau, mit Namen Rehuma, gebar auch Kinder: Tebah und Gaham, Thahas und Maacha.
