El SEÑOR le prestó atención a Sara, como dijo que haría, y el SEÑOR hizo por Sara tal como había prometido.

Y VISITÓ Jehová á Sara, como había dicho, é hizo Jehová con Sara como había hablado.

And the LORD visited Sarah as he had said, and the LORD did unto Sarah as he had spoken.

Sara concibió y le dio un hijo a Abraham en su vejez, en el tiempo fijado que Dios le había hablado.

Y concibió y parió Sara á Abraham un hijo en su vejez, en el tiempo que Dios le había dicho.

For Sarah conceived, and bare Abraham a son in his old age, at the set time of which God had spoken to him.

Abraham nombró a su hijo, el que le había nacido, el que Sara le había dado, Isaac.

Y llamó Abraham el nombre de su hijo que le nació, que le parió Sara, Isaac.

And Abraham called the name of his son that was born unto him, whom Sarah bare to him, Isaac.

Abraham called his son who was born to him, whom Sarah bore to him, Isaac.

Abraham circuncidó a su hijo Isaac cuando tenía ocho días, así como Dios le había ordenado.

Y circuncidó Abraham á su hijo Isaac de ocho días, como Dios le había mandado.

And Abraham circumcised his son Isaac being eight days old, as God had commanded him.

Abraham tenía cien años cuando su hijo Isaac le nació.

Y era Abraham de cien años, cuando le nació Isaac su hijo.

And Abraham was an hundred years old, when his son Isaac was born unto him.

Abraham was one hundred years old when his son, Isaac, was born to him.

Sara dijo: "Dios me ha hecho reír, todo el que oiga reíra conmigo."

Entonces dijo Sara: Dios me ha hecho reir, y cualquiera que lo oyere, se reirá conmigo.

And Sarah said, God hath made me to laugh, so that all that hear will laugh with me.

Sarah said, “God has made me laugh. Everyone who hears will laugh with me.”

Ella también dijo: "¡Quién le hubiera dicho a Abraham que Sara amamantaría niños, ¡y, sin embargo, le he dado un hijo en su vejez!"

Y añadió: ¿Quién dijera á Abraham que Sara había de dar de mamar á hijos? pues que le he parido un hijo á su vejez.

And she said, Who would have said unto Abraham, that Sarah should have given children suck? for I have born him a son in his old age.

She said, “Who would have said to Abraham that Sarah would nurse children? For I have borne him a son in his old age.”

El niño creció y fue destetado, y Abraham hizo un gran banquete en el día en que Isaac fue destetado.

Y creció el niño, y fué destetado; é hizo Abraham gran banquete el día que fué destetado Isaac.

And the child grew, and was weaned: and Abraham made a great feast the same day that Isaac was weaned.

The child grew and was weaned. Abraham made a great feast on the day that Isaac was weaned.

Sara vio al hijo de Hagar la egipcia, quien le había dado un hijo a Abraham, burlándose.

Y vió Sara al hijo de Agar la Egipcia, el cual había ésta parido á Abraham, que se burlaba.

And Sarah saw the son of Hagar the Egyptian, which she had born unto Abraham, mocking.

Sarah saw the son of Hagar the Egyptian, whom she had borne to Abraham, mocking.

Entonces ella le dijo a Abraham: "Echa a esta esclava y a su hijo: porque el hijo de esta esclava no será heredero con mi hijo, con Isaac."

Por tanto dijo á Abraham: Echa á esta sierva y á su hijo; que el hijo de esta sierva no ha de heredar con mi hijo, con Isaac.

Wherefore she said unto Abraham, Cast out this bondwoman and her son: for the son of this bondwoman shall not be heir with my son, even with Isaac.

Therefore she said to Abraham, “Cast out this servant and her son! For the son of this servant will not be heir with my son, Isaac.”

Esta cosa era muy grave para Abraham a causa de su hijo.

Este dicho pareció grave en gran manera á Abraham á causa de su hijo.

And the thing was very grievous in Abraham’s sight because of his son.

The thing was very grievous in Abraham’s sight on account of his son.

Pero Dios le dijo a Abraham: "No te angusties por el niño, ni por tu sierva. Escucha sus palabras en todo lo que ella te dice acerca de este asunto, porque es por medio de Isaac que tus descendientes serán nombrados.

Entonces dijo Dios á Abraham: No te parezca grave á causa del muchacho y de tu sierva; en todo lo que te dijere Sara, oye su voz, porque en Isaac te será llamada descendencia.

And God said unto Abraham, Let it not be grievous in thy sight because of the lad, and because of thy bondwoman; in all that Sarah hath said unto thee, hearken unto her voice; for in Isaac shall thy seed be called.

God said to Abraham, “Don’t let it be grievous in your sight because of the boy, and because of your servant. In all that Sarah says to you, listen to her voice. For your offspring will be named through Isaac.

Yó también haré del hijo de la sierva una nación, porque él es tu descendiente."

Y también al hijo de la sierva pondré en gente, porque es tu simiente.

And also of the son of the bondwoman will I make a nation, because he is thy seed.

I will also make a nation of the son of the servant, because he is your child.”

Abraham se levantó temprano en la mañana, tomó pan y un odre de agua, y se lo dio a Hagar, poniéndoselo en el hombro. Él le dio al muchacho y la envió lejos. Ella se fué y vagó por el desierto de Beerseba.

Entonces Abraham se levantó muy de mañana, y tomó pan, y un odre de agua, y diólo á Agar, poniéndolo sobre su hombro, y entrególe el muchacho, y despidióla. Y ella partió, y andaba errante por el desierto de Beer-seba.

And Abraham rose up early in the morning, and took bread, and a bottle of water, and gave it unto Hagar, putting it on her shoulder, and the child, and sent her away: and she departed, and wandered in the wilderness of Beer-sheba.

Cuando el agua del odre se les acabó, ella abandonó al muchacho debajo de uno de los arbustos.

Y faltó el agua del odre, y echó al muchacho debajo de un árbol;

And the water was spent in the bottle, and she cast the child under one of the shrubs.

The water in the container was spent, and she put the child under one of the shrubs.

Entonces ella se fue, y se sentó a una corta distancia de él, como a un tiro de arco de distancia, pues dijo: "Déjame no mirar la muerte del muchacho." Mientras ella estaba sentada frente a él, ella alzó su voz y lloró.

Y fuése y sentóse enfrente, alejándose como un tiro de arco; porque decía: No veré cuando el muchacho morirá: y sentóse enfrente, y alzó su voz y lloró.

And she went, and sat her down over against him a good way off, as it were a bowshot: for she said, Let me not see the death of the child. And she sat over against him, and lift up her voice, and wept.

She went and sat down opposite him, a good way off, about a bow shot away. For she said, “Don’t let me see the death of the child.” She sat opposite him, and lifted up her voice, and wept.

Dios oyó la voz del muchacho, y el ángel de Dios llamó a Agar desde el cielo, y le dijo: "¿Qué te preocupa, Agar? No temas, porque Dios ha oído la voz del muchacho donde está.

Y oyó Dios la voz del muchacho; y el ángel de Dios llamó á Agar desde el cielo, y le dijo: ¿Qué tienes, Agar? No temas; porque Dios ha oído la voz del muchacho en donde está.

And God heard the voice of the lad; and the angel of God called to Hagar out of heaven, and said unto her, What aileth thee, Hagar? fear not; for God hath heard the voice of the lad where he is.

God heard the voice of the boy. The angel of God called to Hagar out of the sky, and said to her, “What troubles you, Hagar? Don’t be afraid. For God has heard the voice of the boy where he is.

Levántate, alza al muchacho y aliéntalo; porque Yo haré de él una gran nación."

Levántate, alza al muchacho, y ásele de tu mano, porque en gran gente lo tengo de poner.

Arise, lift up the lad, and hold him in thine hand; for I will make him a great nation.

Get up, lift up the boy, and hold him with your hand. For I will make him a great nation.”

Entonces Dios abrió sus ojos, y ella vio un pozo de agua. Ella fue y llenó el odre de agua, y le dio al muchacho de tomar.

Entonces abrió Dios sus ojos, y vió una fuente de agua; y fué, y llenó el odre de agua, y dió de beber al muchacho.

And God opened her eyes, and she saw a well of water; and she went, and filled the bottle with water, and gave the lad drink.

Dios estaba con el muchacho, y él creció. Él vivió en el desierto y se convirtió en arquero.

Y fué Dios con el muchacho; y creció, y habitó en el desierto, y fué tirador de arco.

And God was with the lad; and he grew, and dwelt in the wilderness, and became an archer.

God was with the boy, and he grew. He lived in the wilderness, and as he grew up, he became an archer.

Vivió en el desierto de Parán, y su madre le consiguió una esposa de la tierra de Egipto.

Y habitó en el desierto de Parán; y su madre le tomó mujer de la tierra de Egipto.

And he dwelt in the wilderness of Paran: and his mother took him a wife out of the land of Egypt.

He lived in the wilderness of Paran. His mother got a wife for him out of the land of Egypt.

Aconteció en ese tiempo que Abimalec y Ficol, el capitán de su ejército, hablaron a Abraham, diciendo: "Dios está contigo en todo lo que haces.

Y aconteció en aquel mismo tiempo que habló Abimelech, y Phicol, príncipe de su ejército, á Abraham diciendo: Dios es contigo en todo cuanto haces:

And it came to pass at that time, that Abimelech and Phichol the chief captain of his host spake unto Abraham, saying, God is with thee in all that thou doest:

At that time, Abimelech and Phicol the captain of his army spoke to Abraham, saying, “God is with you in all that you do.

Ahora, por lo tanto, júrame por Dios que no harás trato falso conmigo, ni con mis hijos, ni con mis descendientes. Muéstrame a mí y a la tierra en donde habitas el mismo pacto de fidelidad que yo te he mostrado."

Ahora pues, júrame aquí por Dios, que no faltarás á mí, ni á mi hijo, ni á mi nieto; sino que conforme á la bondad que yo hice contigo, harás tú conmigo, y con la tierra donde has peregrinado.

Now therefore swear unto me here by God that thou wilt not deal falsely with me, nor with my son, nor with my son’s son: but according to the kindness that I have done unto thee, thou shalt do unto me, and to the land wherein thou hast sojourned.

Now, therefore, swear to me here by God that you will not deal falsely with me, nor with my son, nor with my son’s son. But according to the kindness that I have done to you, you shall do to me, and to the land in which you have lived as a foreigner.”

Abraham le dijo: "Lo juro."

Y respondió Abraham: Yo juraré.

And Abraham said, I will swear.

Abraham said, “I will swear.”

Abraham también se quejó ante Abimael acerca de un pozo de agua que los siervos de Abimael le habían quitado.

Y Abraham reconvino á Abimelech á causa de un pozo de agua, que los siervos de Abimelech le habían quitado.

And Abraham reproved Abimelech because of a well of water, which Abimelech’s servants had violently taken away.

Abraham complained to Abimelech because of a water well, which Abimelech’s servants had violently taken away.

Abimael dijo: "Yo no sé quién ha hecho esta cosa. Tú no me dijiste antes de ahora; yo no lo he escuchado hasta hoy."

Y respondió Abimelech: No sé quién haya hecho esto, ni tampoco tú me lo hiciste saber, ni yo lo he oído hasta hoy.

And Abimelech said, I wot not who hath done this thing: neither didst thou tell me, neither yet heard I of it, but to day.

Abimelech said, “I don’t know who has done this thing. You didn’t tell me, and I didn’t hear of it until today.”

Entonces Abraham tomó ovejas y bueyes y se los dio a Abimael, y los dos hombres hicieron un pacto.

Y tomó Abraham ovejas y vacas, y dió á Abimelech; é hicieron ambos alianza.

And Abraham took sheep and oxen, and gave them unto Abimelech; and both of them made a covenant.

Abraham took sheep and cattle, and gave them to Abimelech. Those two made a covenant.

Entonces Abraham apartó del rebaño a siete corderas.

Y puso Abraham siete corderas del rebaño aparte.

And Abraham set seven ewe lambs of the flock by themselves.

Abimael le dijo a Abraham: "¿Cuál es el significado de estas siete corderas que has separado de las otras?"

Y dijo Abimelech á Abraham: ¿Qué significan esas siete corderas que has puesto aparte?

And Abimelech said unto Abraham, What mean these seven ewe lambs which thou hast set by themselves?

Abimelech said to Abraham, “What do these seven ewe lambs, which you have set by themselves, mean?”

Él respondió: "Estas siete corderas recibirás de mi mano, para que sea un testimonio para mí, que yo cavé este pozo."

Y él respondió: Que estas siete corderas tomarás de mi mano, para que me sean en testimonio de que yo cavé este pozo.

And he said, For these seven ewe lambs shalt thou take of my hand, that they may be a witness unto me, that I have digged this well.

He said, “You shall take these seven ewe lambs from my hand, that it may be a witness to me, that I have dug this well.”

Y él llamo a ese lugar Beerseba, porque ahí ambos hicieron un juramento.

Por esto llamó á aquel lugar Beer-seba; porque allí juraron ambos.

Wherefore he called that place Beer-sheba; because there they sware both of them.

Therefore he called that place Beersheba, because they both swore an oath there.

Hicieron un pacto en Beerseba, y entonces Abimael y Ficol, el capitán de su ejército, regresaron a la tierra de los filisteos.

Así hicieron alianza en Beer-seba: y levantóse Abimelech, y Phicol, príncipe de su ejército, y se volvieron á tierra de los Filisteos.

Thus they made a covenant at Beer-sheba: then Abimelech rose up, and Phichol the chief captain of his host, and they returned into the land of the Philistines.

So they made a covenant at Beersheba. Abimelech rose up with Phicol, the captain of his army, and they returned into the land of the Philistines.

Abraham plantó un árbol de tamarisco en Beerseba. Ahí él adoró al SEÑOR, el Dios eterno.

Y plantó Abraham un bosque en Beer-seba, é invocó allí el nombre de Jehová Dios eterno.

And Abraham planted a grove in Beer-sheba, and called there on the name of the LORD, the everlasting God.

Abraham planted a tamarisk tree in Beersheba, and there he called on the name of the LORD, the Everlasting God.

Abraham continuó como extranjero en la tierra de los filisteos por muchos días.

Y moró Abraham en tierra de los Filisteos muchos días.

And Abraham sojourned in the Philistines’ land many days.

Abraham lived as a foreigner in the land of the Philistines many days.
