Und Jehovah suchte Sarah heim, wie Er gesagt, und Jehovah tat mit Sarah, wie Er geredet hatte.

Und Sarah empfing und gebar Abraham einen Sohn in seinem Alter zu der bestimmten Zeit, wie Gott mit ihm geredet hatte.

Y concibió y parió Sara á Abraham un hijo en su vejez, en el tiempo que Dios le había dicho.

For Sarah conceived, and bare Abraham a son in his old age, at the set time of which God had spoken to him.

Und Abraham nannte den Namen seines Sohnes, der ihm geboren worden, den ihm Sarah gebar, Isaak.

And Abraham called the name of his son that was born unto him, whom Sarah bare to him, Isaac.

Und Abraham beschnitt Isaak, seinen Sohn, am achten Tage, wie ihm Gott geboten hatte.

Y circuncidó Abraham á su hijo Isaac de ocho días, como Dios le había mandado.

Und Sarah sprach: Ein Lachen hat mir Gott bereitet. Jeder, der es hört, wird lachen über mich.

Entonces dijo Sara: Dios me ha hecho reir, y cualquiera que lo oyere, se reirá conmigo.

And Sarah said, God hath made me to laugh, so that all that hear will laugh with me.

Sarah said, “God has made me laugh. Everyone who hears will laugh with me.”

Und sie sprach: Wer hätte dem Abraham gesagt: Sarah säugt Söhne! daß ich seinem Alter einen Sohn gebären würde!

Y añadió: ¿Quién dijera á Abraham que Sara había de dar de mamar á hijos? pues que le he parido un hijo á su vejez.

And she said, Who would have said unto Abraham, that Sarah should have given children suck? for I have born him a son in his old age.

She said, “Who would have said to Abraham that Sarah would nurse children? For I have borne him a son in his old age.”

Und das Kind ward groß und ward entwöhnt, und Abraham machte ein großes Gastmahl am Tage von Isaaks Entwöhnung.

Y creció el niño, y fué destetado; é hizo Abraham gran banquete el día que fué destetado Isaac.

And the child grew, and was weaned: and Abraham made a great feast the same day that Isaac was weaned.

Und Sarah sah den Sohn der Hagar, der Ägypterin, den sie dem Abraham geboren hatte, spotten,

Y vió Sara al hijo de Agar la Egipcia, el cual había ésta parido á Abraham, que se burlaba.

And Sarah saw the son of Hagar the Egyptian, which she had born unto Abraham, mocking.

Und sie sprach zu Abraham: Treibe diese Magd und ihren Sohn fort; denn der Sohn dieser Magd darf nicht mit meinem Sohne, mit Isaak, erblich besitzen.

Por tanto dijo á Abraham: Echa á esta sierva y á su hijo; que el hijo de esta sierva no ha de heredar con mi hijo, con Isaac.

Wherefore she said unto Abraham, Cast out this bondwoman and her son: for the son of this bondwoman shall not be heir with my son, even with Isaac.

Therefore she said to Abraham, “Cast out this servant and her son! For the son of this servant will not be heir with my son, Isaac.”

Und das Wort war sehr böse in den Augen Abrahams wegen seines Sohnes.

Este dicho pareció grave en gran manera á Abraham á causa de su hijo.

And the thing was very grievous in Abraham’s sight because of his son.

Und Gott sprach zu Abraham: Es sei nicht böse in deinen Augen wegen des Jungen und deiner Magd. Alles, was Sarah zu dir sagt, höre auf ihre Stimme; denn in Isaak soll dir ein Same genannt werden.

Entonces dijo Dios á Abraham: No te parezca grave á causa del muchacho y de tu sierva; en todo lo que te dijere Sara, oye su voz, porque en Isaac te será llamada descendencia.

And God said unto Abraham, Let it not be grievous in thy sight because of the lad, and because of thy bondwoman; in all that Sarah hath said unto thee, hearken unto her voice; for in Isaac shall thy seed be called.

God said to Abraham, “Don’t let it be grievous in your sight because of the boy, and because of your servant. In all that Sarah says to you, listen to her voice. For your offspring will be named through Isaac.

Und auch den Sohn der Magd will Ich als eine Völkerschaft setzen, weil er dein Same ist.

Y también al hijo de la sierva pondré en gente, porque es tu simiente.

And also of the son of the bondwoman will I make a nation, because he is thy seed.

I will also make a nation of the son of the servant, because he is your child.”

Und Abraham stand früh am Morgen auf, und nahm Brot und einen Schlauch mit Wasser, und gab sie Hagar, legte sie auf ihre Schulter, und den Knaben und entsandte sie. Und sie ging hin und wanderte umher in der Wüste Beerschaba.

Entonces Abraham se levantó muy de mañana, y tomó pan, y un odre de agua, y diólo á Agar, poniéndolo sobre su hombro, y entrególe el muchacho, y despidióla. Y ella partió, y andaba errante por el desierto de Beer-seba.

And Abraham rose up early in the morning, and took bread, and a bottle of water, and gave it unto Hagar, putting it on her shoulder, and the child, and sent her away: and she departed, and wandered in the wilderness of Beer-sheba.

Und das Wasser war alle aus dem Schlauche; und sie warf den Knaben unter eines der Gesträuche;

Y faltó el agua del odre, y echó al muchacho debajo de un árbol;

And the water was spent in the bottle, and she cast the child under one of the shrubs.

Und sie ging hin und setzte sich von ferne, einen Bogenschuß weit gegenüber; denn, sprach sie, ich will nicht sehen, wie der Knabe stirbt. Und sie saß da gegenüber, und hob ihre Stimme auf und weinte.

Y fuése y sentóse enfrente, alejándose como un tiro de arco; porque decía: No veré cuando el muchacho morirá: y sentóse enfrente, y alzó su voz y lloró.

And she went, and sat her down over against him a good way off, as it were a bowshot: for she said, Let me not see the death of the child. And she sat over against him, and lift up her voice, and wept.

Und Gott hörte die Stimme des Jungen, und der Engel Gottes rief der Hagar vom Himmel zu, und sprach zu ihr: Was ist dir, Hagar? Früchte dich nicht! denn Gott hat die Stimme des Jungen gehört dort, wo er ist.

Y oyó Dios la voz del muchacho; y el ángel de Dios llamó á Agar desde el cielo, y le dijo: ¿Qué tienes, Agar? No temas; porque Dios ha oído la voz del muchacho en donde está.

And God heard the voice of the lad; and the angel of God called to Hagar out of heaven, and said unto her, What aileth thee, Hagar? fear not; for God hath heard the voice of the lad where he is.

God heard the voice of the boy. The angel of God called to Hagar out of the sky, and said to her, “What troubles you, Hagar? Don’t be afraid. For God has heard the voice of the boy where he is.

Steh auf, nimm den Jungen und faß ihn an der Hand; denn Ich will ihn zu einer großen Völkerschaft setzen.

Levántate, alza al muchacho, y ásele de tu mano, porque en gran gente lo tengo de poner.

Arise, lift up the lad, and hold him in thine hand; for I will make him a great nation.

Get up, lift up the boy, and hold him with your hand. For I will make him a great nation.”

Und Gott tat ihre Augen auf, und sie sah einen Brunnen mit Wasser; und sie ging und füllte den Schlauch mit Wasser und ließ den Jungen trinken.

Entonces abrió Dios sus ojos, y vió una fuente de agua; y fué, y llenó el odre de agua, y dió de beber al muchacho.

And God opened her eyes, and she saw a well of water; and she went, and filled the bottle with water, and gave the lad drink.

Und Gott war mit dem Jungen, und er ward groß, und wohnte in der Wüste, und er ward ein Bogenschütze.

Y fué Dios con el muchacho; y creció, y habitó en el desierto, y fué tirador de arco.

And God was with the lad; and he grew, and dwelt in the wilderness, and became an archer.

God was with the boy, and he grew. He lived in the wilderness, and as he grew up, he became an archer.

Und er wohnte in der Wüste Paran, und seine Mutter nahm ihm ein Weib aus dem Lande Ägypten.

Y habitó en el desierto de Parán; y su madre le tomó mujer de la tierra de Egipto.

And he dwelt in the wilderness of Paran: and his mother took him a wife out of the land of Egypt.

He lived in the wilderness of Paran. His mother got a wife for him out of the land of Egypt.

Und es geschah um diese Zeit, daß Abimelech und der Oberste seines Heeres, Pichol, mit Abraham sprachen und sagten: Gott ist mit dir in allem, was du tust.

Y aconteció en aquel mismo tiempo que habló Abimelech, y Phicol, príncipe de su ejército, á Abraham diciendo: Dios es contigo en todo cuanto haces:

And it came to pass at that time, that Abimelech and Phichol the chief captain of his host spake unto Abraham, saying, God is with thee in all that thou doest:

At that time, Abimelech and Phicol the captain of his army spoke to Abraham, saying, “God is with you in all that you do.

Und nun schwöre mir bei Gott hier, daß du gegen mich, meinen Sohn und meinen Enkel nicht lügen willst. Nach der Barmherzigkeit, die ich an dir getan, tue auch an mir und an dem Lande, in dem du dich aufgehalten hast.

Ahora pues, júrame aquí por Dios, que no faltarás á mí, ni á mi hijo, ni á mi nieto; sino que conforme á la bondad que yo hice contigo, harás tú conmigo, y con la tierra donde has peregrinado.

Now therefore swear unto me here by God that thou wilt not deal falsely with me, nor with my son, nor with my son’s son: but according to the kindness that I have done unto thee, thou shalt do unto me, and to the land wherein thou hast sojourned.

Now, therefore, swear to me here by God that you will not deal falsely with me, nor with my son, nor with my son’s son. But according to the kindness that I have done to you, you shall do to me, and to the land in which you have lived as a foreigner.”

Und Abraham sprach: Ich will schwören.

Y respondió Abraham: Yo juraré.

And Abraham said, I will swear.

Abraham said, “I will swear.”

Und Abraham rügte den Abimelech über einen Wasserbrunnen, den Abimelechs Knechte ihm entrissen hatten.

Y Abraham reconvino á Abimelech á causa de un pozo de agua, que los siervos de Abimelech le habían quitado.

And Abraham reproved Abimelech because of a well of water, which Abimelech’s servants had violently taken away.

Abraham complained to Abimelech because of a water well, which Abimelech’s servants had violently taken away.

Abimelech aber sprach: Ich weiß nicht, wer das Ding getan, und du hast mir es auch nicht angesagt, und ich hörte nichts davon bis heute.

Y respondió Abimelech: No sé quién haya hecho esto, ni tampoco tú me lo hiciste saber, ni yo lo he oído hasta hoy.

And Abimelech said, I wot not who hath done this thing: neither didst thou tell me, neither yet heard I of it, but to day.

Abimelech said, “I don’t know who has done this thing. You didn’t tell me, and I didn’t hear of it until today.”

Und Abraham nahm Kleinvieh und Rinder und gab sie Abimelech, und sie beide schlossen einen Bund.

Y tomó Abraham ovejas y vacas, y dió á Abimelech; é hicieron ambos alianza.

And Abraham took sheep and oxen, and gave them unto Abimelech; and both of them made a covenant.

Und Abraham stellte sieben Lämmer von dem Kleinvieh besonders.

Y puso Abraham siete corderas del rebaño aparte.

And Abraham set seven ewe lambs of the flock by themselves.

Und Abimelech sprach zu Abraham: Was sollen diese sieben Lämmer, die du besonders gestellt hast?

Y dijo Abimelech á Abraham: ¿Qué significan esas siete corderas que has puesto aparte?

And Abimelech said unto Abraham, What mean these seven ewe lambs which thou hast set by themselves?

Abimelech said to Abraham, “What do these seven ewe lambs, which you have set by themselves, mean?”

Und er sprach: Die sieben Lämmer sollst du nehmen aus meiner Hand, auf daß es mir zum Zeugnis sei, daß ich diesen Brunnen gegraben habe.

Y él respondió: Que estas siete corderas tomarás de mi mano, para que me sean en testimonio de que yo cavé este pozo.

And he said, For these seven ewe lambs shalt thou take of my hand, that they may be a witness unto me, that I have digged this well.

He said, “You shall take these seven ewe lambs from my hand, that it may be a witness to me, that I have dug this well.”

Daher nennt man diesen Ort Beerschaba, weil sie beide dort einander geschworen haben.

Por esto llamó á aquel lugar Beer-seba; porque allí juraron ambos.

Wherefore he called that place Beer-sheba; because there they sware both of them.

Therefore he called that place Beersheba, because they both swore an oath there.

Und sie schlossen einen Bund in Beerschaba. Und Abimelech und Pichol, der Oberste seines Heeres, machten sich auf und kehrten zurück in das Land der Philister.

Así hicieron alianza en Beer-seba: y levantóse Abimelech, y Phicol, príncipe de su ejército, y se volvieron á tierra de los Filisteos.

Thus they made a covenant at Beer-sheba: then Abimelech rose up, and Phichol the chief captain of his host, and they returned into the land of the Philistines.

So they made a covenant at Beersheba. Abimelech rose up with Phicol, the captain of his army, and they returned into the land of the Philistines.

Und Abraham pflanzte in Beerschaba einen Hain, und rief dort den Namen Jehovahs, des ewigen Gottes an.

Y plantó Abraham un bosque en Beer-seba, é invocó allí el nombre de Jehová Dios eterno.

And Abraham planted a grove in Beer-sheba, and called there on the name of the LORD, the everlasting God.

Abraham planted a tamarisk tree in Beersheba, and there he called on the name of the LORD, the Everlasting God.

Und Abraham hielt sich viele Tage im Lande der Philister auf.
