Abraham aber zog von dannen ins Land gegen Mittag und wohnete zwischen Kades und Sur und ward ein Fremdling zu Gerar.

DE allí partió Abraham á la tierra del Mediodía, y asentó entre Cades y Shur, y habitó como forastero en Gerar.

And Abraham journeyed from thence toward the south country, and dwelled between Kadesh and Shur, and sojourned in Gerar.

Abraham traveled from there toward the land of the South, and lived between Kadesh and Shur. He lived as a foreigner in Gerar.

Und sprach von seinem Weibe Sara: Es ist meine Schwester. Da sandte Abimelech, der Konig zu Gerar, nach ihr und lieli sie holen.

Y dijo Abraham de Sara su mujer: Mi hermana es. Y Abimelech, rey de Gerar, envió y tomó á Sara.

And Abraham said of Sarah his wife, She is my sister: and Abimelech king of Gerar sent, and took Sarah.

Abraham said about Sarah his wife, “She is my sister.” Abimelech king of Gerar sent, and took Sarah.

Aber Gott kam zu Abimelech des Nachts im Traum und sprach zu ihm: Siehe da, du bist des Todes um des Weibes willen, das du genommen hast; denn sie ist eines Mannes Eheweib.

Empero Dios vino á Abimelech en sueños de noche, y le dijo: He aquí muerto eres á causa de la mujer que has tomado, la cual es casada con marido.

But God came to Abimelech in a dream by night, and said to him, Behold, thou art but a dead man, for the woman which thou hast taken; for she is a man’s wife.

But God came to Abimelech in a dream of the night, and said to him, “Behold, you are a dead man, because of the woman whom you have taken; for she is a man’s wife.”

Abimelech aber hatte sie nicht beruhret und sprach: HERR, willst du denn auch ein gerecht Volk erwurgen?

Mas Abimelech no había llegado á ella, y dijo: Señor, ¿matarás también la gente justa?

But Abimelech had not come near her: and he said, Lord, wilt thou slay also a righteous nation?

Now Abimelech had not come near her. He said, “Lord, will you kill even a righteous nation?

Hat er nicht zu mir gesagt: Sie ist meine Schwester? Und sie hat auch gesagt: Er ist mein Bruder. Habe ich doch das getan mit einfaltigem Herzen und unschuldigen Handen.

¿No me dijo él: Mi hermana es; y ella también dijo: Es mi hermano? Con sencillez de mi corazón, y con limpieza de mis manos he hecho esto.

Said he not unto me, She is my sister? and she, even she herself said, He is my brother: in the integrity of my heart and innocency of my hands have I done this.

Didn’t he tell me, ‘She is my sister’? She, even she herself, said, ‘He is my brother.’ I have done this in the integrity of my heart and the innocence of my hands.”

Und Gott sprach zu ihm im Traum: Ich weili auch, daß du mit einfaltigem Herzen das getan hast. Darum habe ich dich auch behutet, daü du nicht wider mich sündigtest, und habe dir's nicht zugegeben, daß du sie beruhrtest.

Y díjole Dios en sueños: Yo también sé que con integridad de tu corazón has hecho esto; y yo también te detuve de pecar contra mí, y así no te permití que la tocases.

And God said unto him in a dream, Yea, I know that thou didst this in the integrity of thy heart; for I also withheld thee from sinning against me: therefore suffered I thee not to touch her.

God said to him in the dream, “Yes, I know that in the integrity of your heart you have done this, and I also withheld you from sinning against me. Therefore I didn’t allow you to touch her.

So gib nun dem Mann sein Weib wieder, denn er ist ein Prophet, und lali ihn fur dich bitten, so wirst du lebendig bleiben. Wo du aber sie nicht wiedergibst, so wisse, da(5 du des Todes sterben mußt, und alles, was dein ist.

Ahora, pues, vuelve la mujer á su marido; porque es profeta, y orará por ti, y vivirás. Y si tú no la volvieres, sabe que de cierto morirás, con todo lo que fuere tuyo.

Now therefore restore the man his wife; for he is a prophet, and he shall pray for thee, and thou shalt live: and if thou restore her not, know thou that thou shalt surely die, thou, and all that are thine.

Now therefore, restore the man’s wife. For he is a prophet, and he will pray for you, and you will live. If you don’t restore her, know for sure that you will die, you, and all who are yours.”

Da stund Abimelech des Morgens frühe auf und rief alien seinen Knechten und sagte ihnen dieses alles vor ihren Ohren. Und die Leute furchteten sich sehr.

Entonces Abimelech se levantó de mañana, y llamó á todos sus siervos, y dijo todas estas palabras en los oídos de ellos; y temieron los hombres en gran manera.

Und Abimelech rief Abraham auch und sprach zu ihm: Warum hast du uns das getan, und was habe ich an dir gesundiget, dafi du so eine grolie Sünde wolltest auf mich und mein Reich bringen? Du hast mit mir gehandelt, nicht wie man handeln soil.

Después llamó Abimelech á Abraham, y le dijo: ¿Qué nos has hecho? ¿y en qué pequé yo contra ti, que has atraído sobre mí y sobre mi reino tan gran pecado? lo que no debiste hacer has hecho conmigo.

Then Abimelech called Abraham, and said unto him, What hast thou done unto us? and what have I offended thee, that thou hast brought on me and on my kingdom a great sin? thou hast done deeds unto me that ought not to be done.

Then Abimelech called Abraham, and said to him, “What have you done to us? How have I sinned against you, that you have brought on me and on my kingdom a great sin? You have done deeds to me that ought not to be done!”

Und Abimelech sprach weiterzu Abraham: Was hast du gesehen, daß du solches getan hast?

Y dijo más Abimelech á Abraham: ¿Qué viste para que hicieses esto?

And Abimelech said unto Abraham, What sawest thou, that thou hast done this thing?

Abimelech said to Abraham, “What did you see, that you have done this thing?”

Abraham sprach: Ich dachte, vielleicht ist keine Gottesfurcht an diesen Orten, und werden mich um meines Weibes willen erwurgen.

Y Abraham respondió: Porque dije para mí: Cierto no hay temor de Dios en este lugar, y me matarán por causa de mi mujer.

And Abraham said, Because I thought, Surely the fear of God is not in this place; and they will slay me for my wife’s sake.

Abraham said, “Because I thought, ‘Surely the fear of God is not in this place. They will kill me for my wife’s sake.’

Auch ist sie wahrhaftig meine Schwester, denn sie ist meines Vaters Tochter, aber nicht meiner Mutter Tochter, und ist mein Weib worden.

Y á la verdad también es mi hermana, hija de mi padre, mas no hija de mi madre, y toméla por mujer.

And yet indeed she is my sister; she is the daughter of my father, but not the daughter of my mother; and she became my wife.

Besides, she is indeed my sister, the daughter of my father, but not the daughter of my mother; and she became my wife.

Da mich aber Gott aulier meines Vaters Hause wandern hieli, sprach ich zu ihr: Die Barmherzigkeit tu an mir, daß wo wir hinkommen, du von mir sagest, ich sei dein Bruder.

Y fué que, cuando Dios me hizo salir errante de la casa de mi padre, yo le dije: Esta es la merced que tú me harás, que en todos los lugares donde llegáremos, digas de mí: Mi hermano es.

And it came to pass, when God caused me to wander from my father’s house, that I said unto her, This is thy kindness which thou shalt shew unto me; at every place whither we shall come, say of me, He is my brother.

When God caused me to wander from my father’s house, I said to her, ‘This is your kindness which you shall show to me. Everywhere that we go, say of me, “He is my brother.”’”

Da nahm Abimelech Schafe und Rinder, Knechte und Magde und gab sie Abraham; und gab ihm wieder sein Weib Sara

Entonces Abimelech tomó ovejas y vacas, y siervos y siervas, y diólo á Abraham, y devolvióle á Sara su mujer.

And Abimelech took sheep, and oxen, and menservants, and womenservants, and gave them unto Abraham, and restored him Sarah his wife.

Abimelech took sheep and cattle, male servants and female servants, and gave them to Abraham, and restored Sarah, his wife, to him.

und sprach: Siehe da, mein Land stehet dir often; wohne, wo dir's wohlgefallt.

Y dijo Abimelech: He aquí mi tierra está delante de ti, habita donde bien te pareciere.

And Abimelech said, Behold, my land is before thee: dwell where it pleaseth thee.

Abimelech said, “Behold, my land is before you. Dwell where it pleases you.”

Und sprach zu Sara: Siehe da, ich habe deinem Bruder tausend Silberlinge gegeben; siehe, das soli dir eine Decke der Augen sein vor alien, die bei dir sind, und allenthalben. Und das war ihre Strafe.

Y á Sara dijo: He aquí he dado mil monedas de plata á tu hermano; mira que él te es por velo de ojos para todos los que están contigo, y para con todos: así fué reprendida.

And unto Sarah he said, Behold, I have given thy brother a thousand pieces of silver: behold, he is to thee a covering of the eyes, unto all that are with thee, and with all other: thus she was reproved.

To Sarah he said, “Behold, I have given your brother a thousand pieces of silver. Behold, it is for you a covering of the eyes to all that are with you. In front of all you are vindicated.”

Abraham aber betete zu Gott; da heilete Gott Abimelech und sein Weib und seine Magde, daß sie Kinder gebaren.

Entonces Abraham oró á Dios; y Dios sanó á Abimelech y á su mujer, y á sus siervas, y parieron.

So Abraham prayed unto God: and God healed Abimelech, and his wife, and his maidservants; and they bare children.

Abraham prayed to God. So God healed Abimelech, his wife, and his female servants, and they bore children.

Denn der HERR hatte zuvor hart verschlossen alle Mutter des Hauses Abimelech um Saras, Abrahams Weibes, willen.

Porque había del todo cerrado Jehová toda matriz de la casa de Abimelech, á causa de Sara mujer de Abraham.

For the LORD had fast closed up all the wombs of the house of Abimelech, because of Sarah Abraham’s wife.

For the LORD had closed up tight all the wombs of the house of Abimelech, because of Sarah, Abraham’s wife.
