Al principio creò Dio il cielo e la terra.

In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.

In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth.

E la terra era informe e vota, e le tenebre erano sopra la faccia dell'abisso: e lo spirito di Dio si movea sopra le acque.

Y la tierra estaba desordenada y vacía, y las tinieblas estaban sobre la haz del abismo, y el Espíritu de Dios se movía sobre la haz de las aguas.

And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.

The earth was formless and empty. Darkness was on the surface of the deep and God’s Spirit was hovering over the surface of the waters.

E Dio disse: Sia fatta la luce. E la luce fu fatta.

Y dijo Dios: Sea la luz: y fué la luz.

And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.

God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light.

E Dio vide, che la luce era buona: e divise la luce dalle tenebre.

Y vió Dios que la luz era buena: y apartó Dios la luz de las tinieblas.

And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness.

E la luce nominò giorno, e le tenebre notte. E della sera e della mattina si compié il primo giorno.

Y llamó Dios á la luz Día, y á las tinieblas llamó Noche: y fué la tarde y la mañana un día.

And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day.

God called the light “day”, and the darkness he called “night”. There was evening and there was morning, the first day.

Disse ancora Dio: Sia fatto il firmamento nel mezzo alle acque: e separi acque da acque.

Y dijo Dios: Haya expansión en medio de las aguas, y separe las aguas de las aguas.

And God said, Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters.

God said, “Let there be an expanse in the middle of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters.”

E fece Dio il firmamento, e separò le acque, che eran sotto il firmamento da quelle che erano sopra il firmamento. E fu fatto così.

E hizo Dios la expansión, y apartó las aguas que estaban debajo de la expansión, de las aguas que estaban sobre la expansión: y fué así.

And God made the firmament, and divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament: and it was so.

God made the expanse, and divided the waters which were under the expanse from the waters which were above the expanse; and it was so.

E al firmamento diede Dio il nome di cielo. E della sera e della mattina si compié il secondo giorno.

Y llamó Dios á la expansión Cielos: y fué la tarde y la mañana el día segundo.

And God called the firmament Heaven. And the evening and the morning were the second day.

God called the expanse “sky”. There was evening and there was morning, a second day.

Disse ancora Dio: Si radunino le acque, che sono sotto il cielo, in un sol luogo: e l'arida apparisca. E così fu fatto.

Y dijo Dios: Júntense las aguas que están debajo de los cielos en un lugar, y descúbrase la seca: y fué así.

And God said, Let the waters under the heaven be gathered together unto one place, and let the dry land appear: and it was so.

God said, “Let the waters under the sky be gathered together to one place, and let the dry land appear;” and it was so.

E all'arida diede Dio il nome di terra, e le raunate delle acque le chiamò mari. E Dio vide, che ciò bene stava.

Y llamó Dios á la seca Tierra, y á la reunión de las aguas llamó Mares: y vió Dios que era bueno.

And God called the dry land Earth; and the gathering together of the waters called he Seas: and God saw that it was good.

God called the dry land “earth”, and the gathering together of the waters he called “seas”. God saw that it was good.

E disse: La terra germini erba verdeggiante, e che faccia il seme, e piante fruttifere, che diano il frutto secondo la specie loro, che in sé stesse contengono la lor semenza sopra la terra. E così fu fatto.

Y dijo Dios: Produzca la tierra hierba verde, hierba que dé simiente; árbol de fruto que dé fruto según su género, que su simiente esté en él, sobre la tierra: y fué así.

And God said, Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is in itself, upon the earth: and it was so.

God said, “Let the earth yield grass, herbs yielding seeds, and fruit trees bearing fruit after their kind, with their seeds in it, on the earth;” and it was so.

E la terra produsse l'erba verdeggiante, e che fa il seme secondo la sua specie; e le piante, che danno frutto, e delle quali ognuna ha la propria semenza secondo la sua specie. E vide Dio, che ciò bene stava.

Y produjo la tierra hierba verde, hierba que da simiente según su naturaleza, y árbol que da fruto, cuya simiente está en él, según su género: y vió Dios que era bueno.

And the earth brought forth grass, and herb yielding seed after his kind, and the tree yielding fruit, whose seed was in itself, after his kind: and God saw that it was good.

The earth yielded grass, herbs yielding seed after their kind, and trees bearing fruit, with their seeds in it, after their kind; and God saw that it was good.

E della sera e della mattina si compié il terzo giorno.

Y fué la tarde y la mañana el día tercero.

And the evening and the morning were the third day.

There was evening and there was morning, a third day.

E disse Dio: Sieno fatti i luminari nel firmamento del cielo, e distinguano il dì, e la notte; e segnino le stagioni, i giorni e gli anni.

Y dijo Dios: Sean lumbreras en la expansión de los cielos para apartar el día y la noche: y sean por señales, y para las estaciones, y para días y años;

And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years:

God said, “Let there be lights in the expanse of the sky to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs to mark seasons, days, and years;

E risplendano nel firmamento del cielo, e illuminino la terra. E così fu fatto.

Y sean por lumbreras en la expansión de los cielos para alumbrar sobre la tierra: y fué así.

And let them be for lights in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth: and it was so.

and let them be for lights in the expanse of the sky to give light on the earth;” and it was so.

E fece Dio due luminari grandi: il luminar maggiore, che presedesse al giorno; e il luminar minore, che presedesse alla notte: e le stelle.

E hizo Dios las dos grandes lumbreras; la lumbrera mayor para que señorease en el día, y la lumbrera menor para que señorease en la noche: hizo también las estrellas.

And God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: he made the stars also.

E le collocò nel firmamento del cielo, affinché rischiarasser la terra.

Y púsolas Dios en la expansión de los cielos, para alumbrar sobre la tierra,

And God set them in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth,

E presedessero al dì, e alla notte, e dividesser la luce dalle tenebre. E vide Dio, che ciò bene stava.

Y para señorear en el día y en la noche, y para apartar la luz y las tinieblas: y vió Dios que era bueno.

And to rule over the day and over the night, and to divide the light from the darkness: and God saw that it was good.

Disse ancora Dio: Producano le acque i rettili animati e viventi, e i volatili sopra la terra sotto il firmamento del cielo.

Y dijo Dios: Produzcan las aguas reptil de ánima viviente, y aves que vuelen sobre la tierra, en la abierta expansión de los cielos.

And God said, Let the waters bring forth abundantly the moving creature that hath life, and fowl that may fly above the earth in the open firmament of heaven.

God said, “Let the waters abound with living creatures, and let birds fly above the earth in the open expanse of the sky.”

E creò Dio i grandi pesci, e tutti gli animali viventi, e aventi moto: prodotti dalle acque secondo la loro specie, e tutti i volatili secondo il genere loro. E vide Dio, che ciò bene stava.

Y crió Dios las grandes ballenas, y toda cosa viva que anda arrastrando, que las aguas produjeron según su género, y toda ave alada según su especie: y vió Dios que era bueno.

And God created great whales, and every living creature that moveth, which the waters brought forth abundantly, after their kind, and every winged fowl after his kind: and God saw that it was good.

God created the large sea creatures and every living creature that moves, with which the waters swarmed, after their kind, and every winged bird after its kind. God saw that it was good.

E li benedisse dicendo: Crescete, e moltiplicate, e popolate le acque del mare: e moltiplichino gli uccelli sopra la terra.

Y Dios los bendijo diciendo: Fructificad y multiplicad, y henchid las aguas en los mares, y las aves se multipliquen en la tierra.

And God blessed them, saying, Be fruitful, and multiply, and fill the waters in the seas, and let fowl multiply in the earth.

E della sera e della mattina si compié il quinto giorno.

Disse ancora Dio: Produca la terra animali viventi secondo la loro specie; animali domestici, e rettili, e bestie salvatiche della terra secondo la loro specie. E fu fatto così.

Y dijo Dios: Produzca la tierra seres vivientes según su género, bestias y serpientes y animales de la tierra según su especie: y fué así.

And God said, Let the earth bring forth the living creature after his kind, cattle, and creeping thing, and beast of the earth after his kind: and it was so.

God said, “Let the earth produce living creatures after their kind, livestock, creeping things, and animals of the earth after their kind;” and it was so.

E fece Dio le bestie salvatiche della terra secondo la loro specie, e gli animali domestici, e tutti i rettili della terra secondo la loro specie. E vide Dio, che ciò bene stava.

E hizo Dios animales de la tierra según su género, y ganado según su género, y todo animal que anda arrastrando sobre la tierra según su especie: y vió Dios que era bueno.

And God made the beast of the earth after his kind, and cattle after their kind, and every thing that creepeth upon the earth after his kind: and God saw that it was good.

God made the animals of the earth after their kind, and the livestock after their kind, and everything that creeps on the ground after its kind. God saw that it was good.

E disse: Facciamo l'uomo a nostra immagine e somiglianza; ed ei presieda a' pesci del mare, e a' volatili del cielo, e alle bestie, e a tutta la terra e a tutti i rettili, che si muovono sopra la terra.

Y dijo Dios: Hagamos al hombre á nuestra imagen, conforme á nuestra semejanza; y señoree en los peces de la mar, y en las aves de los cielos, y en las bestias, y en toda la tierra, y en todo animal que anda arrastrando sobre la tierra.

And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.

God said, “Let’s make man in our image, after our likeness. Let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the birds of the sky, and over the livestock, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.”

E Dio creò l'uomo a sua somiglianza: a somiglianza di Dio lo creò: lo creò maschio, e femmina.

Y crió Dios al hombre á su imagen, á imagen de Dios lo crió; varón y hembra los crió.

So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.

E benedisseli Dio e disse: Crescete e moltiplicate: e riempite la terra, e assoggettatela: e abbiate dominio sopra i pesci del mare: e i volatili dell'aria, e tutti gli animali, che si muovono sopra la terra.

Y los bendijo Dios; y díjoles Dios: Fructificad y multiplicad, y henchid la tierra, y sojuzgadla, y señoread en los peces de la mar, y en las aves de los cielos, y en todas las bestias que se mueven sobre la tierra.

And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.

God blessed them. God said to them, “Be fruitful, multiply, fill the earth, and subdue it. Have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the sky, and over every living thing that moves on the earth.”

E disse Dio: Ecco ch'io v'ho dato tutte l'erbe, che fanno seme sopra la terra e tutte le piante, che hanno in sé stesse semenza della loro specie, perché a voi servano di cibo.

Y dijo Dios: He aquí que os he dado toda hierba que da simiente, que está sobre la haz de toda la tierra; y todo árbol en que hay fruto de árbol que da simiente, seros ha para comer.

And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat.

God said, “Behold, I have given you every herb yielding seed, which is on the surface of all the earth, and every tree, which bears fruit yielding seed. It will be your food.

E a tutti gli animali della terra, e a tutti gli uccelli dell'aria, e a quanti si muovono sopra la terra animali viventi, affinché abbiano da mangiare. E così fu fatto.

Y á toda bestia de la tierra, y á todas las aves de los cielos, y á todo lo que se mueve sobre la tierra, en que hay vida, toda hierba verde les será para comer: y fué así.

And to every beast of the earth, and to every fowl of the air, and to every thing that creepeth upon the earth, wherein there is life, I have given every green herb for meat: and it was so.

To every animal of the earth, and to every bird of the sky, and to everything that creeps on the earth, in which there is life, I have given every green herb for food;” and it was so.

E Dio vide tutte le cose, che avea fatte, ed erano buone assai. E della sera e della mattina si formò il sesto giorno. Dio, avendo compiuto in sei giorni il suo lavoro, riposa il settimo giorno, e lo benedice. Pone l’uomo nel paradiso ornato di varie piante fruttifere, e di correnti. Forma dalla costola dell'uomo Eva per suo aiuto; e istituisce il matrimonio.

Y vió Dios todo lo que había hecho, y he aquí que era bueno en gran manera. Y fué la tarde y la mañana el día sexto.

And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day.
