Im Anfang schuf Gott die Himmel und die Erde.

In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.

Und die Erde war wüst und leer, und Finsternis war über der Tiefe; und der Geist Gottes schwebte über den Wassern.

Y la tierra estaba desordenada y vacía, y las tinieblas estaban sobre la haz del abismo, y el Espíritu de Dios se movía sobre la haz de las aguas.

And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.

The earth was formless and empty. Darkness was on the surface of the deep and God’s Spirit was hovering over the surface of the waters.

Und Gott sprach: Es werde Licht! Und es wurde Licht.

Y dijo Dios: Sea la luz: y fué la luz.

And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.

God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light.

Und Gott sah das Licht, dass es gut war. Und Gott schied das Licht von der Finsternis.

Y vió Dios que la luz era buena: y apartó Dios la luz de las tinieblas.

And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness.

Und Gott nannte das Licht Tag, und die Finsternis nannte er Nacht. Und es wurde Abend und es wurde Morgen: erster Tag.

Y llamó Dios á la luz Día, y á las tinieblas llamó Noche: y fué la tarde y la mañana un día.

And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day.

God called the light “day”, and the darkness he called “night”. There was evening and there was morning, the first day.

Und Gott sprach: Es werde eine Ausdehnung inmitten der Wasser, und sie scheide die Wasser von den Wassern!

Y dijo Dios: Haya expansión en medio de las aguas, y separe las aguas de las aguas.

And God said, Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters.

God said, “Let there be an expanse in the middle of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters.”

Und Gott machte die Ausdehnung und schied die Wasser, die unterhalb der Ausdehnung, von den Wassern, die oberhalb der Ausdehnung sind. Und es wurde so.

E hizo Dios la expansión, y apartó las aguas que estaban debajo de la expansión, de las aguas que estaban sobre la expansión: y fué así.

And God made the firmament, and divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament: and it was so.

God made the expanse, and divided the waters which were under the expanse from the waters which were above the expanse; and it was so.

Und Gott nannte die Ausdehnung Himmel. Und es wurde Abend und es wurde Morgen: zweiter Tag.

Y llamó Dios á la expansión Cielos: y fué la tarde y la mañana el día segundo.

And God called the firmament Heaven. And the evening and the morning were the second day.

God called the expanse “sky”. There was evening and there was morning, a second day.

Und Gott sprach: Es sammeln sich die Wasser unterhalb des Himmels an einen Ort, und es werde sichtbar das Trockene! Und es wurde so.

Y dijo Dios: Júntense las aguas que están debajo de los cielos en un lugar, y descúbrase la seca: y fué así.

And God said, Let the waters under the heaven be gathered together unto one place, and let the dry land appear: and it was so.

God said, “Let the waters under the sky be gathered together to one place, and let the dry land appear;” and it was so.

Und Gott nannte das Trockene Erde, und die Sammlung der Wasser nannte er Meere. Und Gott sah, dass es gut war.

Y llamó Dios á la seca Tierra, y á la reunión de las aguas llamó Mares: y vió Dios que era bueno.

And God called the dry land Earth; and the gathering together of the waters called he Seas: and God saw that it was good.

God called the dry land “earth”, and the gathering together of the waters he called “seas”. God saw that it was good.

Und Gott sprach: Die Erde lasse Gras hervorsprossen, Kraut, das Samen hervorbringe, Fruchtbäume, die Frucht tragen nach ihrer Art, in der ihr Same sei auf der Erde! Und es wurde so.

Y dijo Dios: Produzca la tierra hierba verde, hierba que dé simiente; árbol de fruto que dé fruto según su género, que su simiente esté en él, sobre la tierra: y fué así.

And God said, Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is in itself, upon the earth: and it was so.

God said, “Let the earth yield grass, herbs yielding seeds, and fruit trees bearing fruit after their kind, with their seeds in it, on the earth;” and it was so.

Und die Erde brachte Gras hervor, Kraut, das Samen hervorbringt nach seiner Art, und Bäume, die Frucht tragen, in der ihr Same ist nach ihrer Art. Und Gott sah, dass es gut war.

Y produjo la tierra hierba verde, hierba que da simiente según su naturaleza, y árbol que da fruto, cuya simiente está en él, según su género: y vió Dios que era bueno.

And the earth brought forth grass, and herb yielding seed after his kind, and the tree yielding fruit, whose seed was in itself, after his kind: and God saw that it was good.

The earth yielded grass, herbs yielding seed after their kind, and trees bearing fruit, with their seeds in it, after their kind; and God saw that it was good.

Und es wurde Abend und es wurde Morgen: dritter Tag.

Y fué la tarde y la mañana el día tercero.

And the evening and the morning were the third day.

There was evening and there was morning, a third day.

Und Gott sprach: Es werden Lichter an der Ausdehnung des Himmels, um den Tag von der Nacht zu scheiden, und sie seien zu Zeichen und zur Bestimmung von Zeiten und Tagen und Jahren;

Y dijo Dios: Sean lumbreras en la expansión de los cielos para apartar el día y la noche: y sean por señales, y para las estaciones, y para días y años;

And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years:

God said, “Let there be lights in the expanse of the sky to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs to mark seasons, days, and years;

und sie seien zu Lichtern an der Ausdehnung des Himmels, um auf die Erde zu leuchten! Und es wurde so.

Y sean por lumbreras en la expansión de los cielos para alumbrar sobre la tierra: y fué así.

And let them be for lights in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth: and it was so.

and let them be for lights in the expanse of the sky to give light on the earth;” and it was so.

Und Gott machte die zwei großen Lichter: das große Licht zur Beherrschung des Tages, und das kleine Licht zur Beherrschung der Nacht, und die Sterne.

E hizo Dios las dos grandes lumbreras; la lumbrera mayor para que señorease en el día, y la lumbrera menor para que señorease en la noche: hizo también las estrellas.

And God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: he made the stars also.

Und Gott setzte sie an die Ausdehnung des Himmels, um auf die Erde zu leuchten,

Y púsolas Dios en la expansión de los cielos, para alumbrar sobre la tierra,

And God set them in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth,

God set them in the expanse of the sky to give light to the earth,

und um zu herrschen am Tag und in der Nacht und das Licht von der Finsternis zu scheiden. Und Gott sah, dass es gut war.

Y para señorear en el día y en la noche, y para apartar la luz y las tinieblas: y vió Dios que era bueno.

And to rule over the day and over the night, and to divide the light from the darkness: and God saw that it was good.

Und Gott sprach: Es wimmeln die Wasser vom Gewimmel lebendiger Wesen, und Vögel sollen über der Erde fliegen angesichts der Ausdehnung des Himmels!

Y dijo Dios: Produzcan las aguas reptil de ánima viviente, y aves que vuelen sobre la tierra, en la abierta expansión de los cielos.

And God said, Let the waters bring forth abundantly the moving creature that hath life, and fowl that may fly above the earth in the open firmament of heaven.

God said, “Let the waters abound with living creatures, and let birds fly above the earth in the open expanse of the sky.”

Und Gott schuf die großen Seeungeheuer und jedes sich regende, lebendige Wesen, wovon die Wasser wimmeln, nach ihrer Art, und alle geflügelten Vögel nach ihrer Art. Und Gott sah, dass es gut war.

Y crió Dios las grandes ballenas, y toda cosa viva que anda arrastrando, que las aguas produjeron según su género, y toda ave alada según su especie: y vió Dios que era bueno.

And God created great whales, and every living creature that moveth, which the waters brought forth abundantly, after their kind, and every winged fowl after his kind: and God saw that it was good.

God created the large sea creatures and every living creature that moves, with which the waters swarmed, after their kind, and every winged bird after its kind. God saw that it was good.

Und Gott segnete sie und sprach: Seid fruchtbar und vermehrt euch und füllt die Wasser in den Meeren, und die Vögel vermehren sich auf der Erde!

Y Dios los bendijo diciendo: Fructificad y multiplicad, y henchid las aguas en los mares, y las aves se multipliquen en la tierra.

And God blessed them, saying, Be fruitful, and multiply, and fill the waters in the seas, and let fowl multiply in the earth.

Und Gott sprach: Die Erde bringe hervor lebendige Wesen nach ihrer Art: Vieh und Gewürm und Tiere der Erde nach ihrer Art! Und es wurde so.

Y dijo Dios: Produzca la tierra seres vivientes según su género, bestias y serpientes y animales de la tierra según su especie: y fué así.

And God said, Let the earth bring forth the living creature after his kind, cattle, and creeping thing, and beast of the earth after his kind: and it was so.

God said, “Let the earth produce living creatures after their kind, livestock, creeping things, and animals of the earth after their kind;” and it was so.

Und Gott machte die Tiere der Erde nach ihrer Art, und das Vieh nach seiner Art, und alles, was sich auf dem Erdboden regt, nach seiner Art. Und Gott sah, dass es gut war.

E hizo Dios animales de la tierra según su género, y ganado según su género, y todo animal que anda arrastrando sobre la tierra según su especie: y vió Dios que era bueno.

And God made the beast of the earth after his kind, and cattle after their kind, and every thing that creepeth upon the earth after his kind: and God saw that it was good.

God made the animals of the earth after their kind, and the livestock after their kind, and everything that creeps on the ground after its kind. God saw that it was good.

Und Gott sprach: Lasst uns Menschen machen in unserem Bild, nach unserem Gleichnis; und sie sollen herrschen über die Fische des Meeres und über die Vögel des Himmels und über das Vieh und über die ganze Erde und über alles Gewürm, das sich auf der Erde regt!

Y dijo Dios: Hagamos al hombre á nuestra imagen, conforme á nuestra semejanza; y señoree en los peces de la mar, y en las aves de los cielos, y en las bestias, y en toda la tierra, y en todo animal que anda arrastrando sobre la tierra.

And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.

God said, “Let’s make man in our image, after our likeness. Let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the birds of the sky, and over the livestock, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.”

Und Gott schuf den Menschen in seinem Bild, im Bild Gottes schuf er ihn; Mann und Frau schuf er sie.

Y crió Dios al hombre á su imagen, á imagen de Dios lo crió; varón y hembra los crió.

So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.

Und Gott segnete sie, und Gott sprach zu ihnen: Seid fruchtbar und vermehrt euch und füllt die Erde und macht sie euch untertan; und herrscht über die Fische des Meeres und über die Vögel des Himmels und über alle Tiere, die sich auf der Erde regen!

Y los bendijo Dios; y díjoles Dios: Fructificad y multiplicad, y henchid la tierra, y sojuzgadla, y señoread en los peces de la mar, y en las aves de los cielos, y en todas las bestias que se mueven sobre la tierra.

And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.

God blessed them. God said to them, “Be fruitful, multiply, fill the earth, and subdue it. Have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the sky, and over every living thing that moves on the earth.”

Und Gott sprach: Siehe, ich habe euch gegeben alles samenbringende Kraut, das auf der Fläche der ganzen Erde ist, und jeden Baum, an dem samenbringende Baumfrucht ist: Es soll euch zur Speise sein;

Y dijo Dios: He aquí que os he dado toda hierba que da simiente, que está sobre la haz de toda la tierra; y todo árbol en que hay fruto de árbol que da simiente, seros ha para comer.

And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat.

God said, “Behold, I have given you every herb yielding seed, which is on the surface of all the earth, and every tree, which bears fruit yielding seed. It will be your food.

und allen Tieren der Erde und allen Vögeln des Himmels und allem, was sich auf der Erde regt, in dem eine lebendige Seele ist, habe ich alles grüne Kraut zur Speise gegeben.

Y á toda bestia de la tierra, y á todas las aves de los cielos, y á todo lo que se mueve sobre la tierra, en que hay vida, toda hierba verde les será para comer: y fué así.

And to every beast of the earth, and to every fowl of the air, and to every thing that creepeth upon the earth, wherein there is life, I have given every green herb for meat: and it was so.

To every animal of the earth, and to every bird of the sky, and to everything that creeps on the earth, in which there is life, I have given every green herb for food;” and it was so.

Und es wurde so. Und Gott sah alles, was er gemacht hatte, und siehe, es war sehr gut. Und es wurde Abend und es wurde Morgen: der sechste Tag.

And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day.
