Und die zwei Engel kamen am Abend nach Sodom. Lot aber saß zu Sodom unter dem Tor; und als er sie sah, stand er auf, ging ihnen entgegen und verneigte sich, das Angesicht zur Erde gewandt,

LLEGARON, pues, los dos ángeles á Sodoma á la caída de la tarde: y Lot estaba sentado á la puerta de Sodoma. Y viéndolos Lot, levantóse á recibirlos, é inclinóse hacia el suelo;

And there came two angels to Sodom at even; and Lot sat in the gate of Sodom: and Lot seeing them rose up to meet them; and he bowed himself with his face toward the ground;

The two angels came to Sodom at evening. Lot sat in the gate of Sodom. Lot saw them, and rose up to meet them. He bowed himself with his face to the earth,

und sprach: Siehe da, meine Herren! Kehrt ein in das Haus eures Knechtes und bleibet über Nacht und lasset euch die Füße waschen; so steht ihr am Morgen frühe auf und zieht euren Weg! Sie aber sprachen: Nein, sondern wir wollen auf der Gasse übernachten!

Y dijo: Ahora, pues, mis señores, os ruego que vengáis á casa de vuestro siervo y os hospedéis, y lavaréis vuestros pies: y por la mañana os levantaréis, y seguiréis vuestro camino. Y ellos respondieron: No, que en la plaza nos quedaremos esta noche.

And he said, Behold now, my lords, turn in, I pray you, into your servant’s house, and tarry all night, and wash your feet, and ye shall rise up early, and go on your ways. And they said, Nay; but we will abide in the street all night.

and he said, “See now, my lords, please come into your servant’s house, stay all night, wash your feet, and you can rise up early, and go on your way.” They said, “No, but we will stay in the street all night.”

Er aber nötigte sie ernstlich. Da kehrten sie bei ihm ein und kamen in sein Haus. Und er bereitete ihnen ein Mahl und machte ungesäuerte Kuchen; und sie aßen.

Mas él porfió con ellos mucho, y se vinieron con él, y entraron en su casa; é hízoles banquete, y coció panes sin levadura, y comieron.

And he pressed upon them greatly; and they turned in unto him, and entered into his house; and he made them a feast, and did bake unleavened bread, and they did eat.

Aber ehe sie sich legten, umringten die Männer der Stadt das Haus, die Männer von Sodom, jung und alt, das ganze Volk aus allen Enden,

Y antes que se acostasen, cercaron la casa los hombres de la ciudad, los varones de Sodoma, todo el pueblo junto, desde el más joven hasta el más viejo;

But before they lay down, the men of the city, even the men of Sodom, compassed the house round, both old and young, all the people from every quarter:

und riefen Lot und sprachen zu ihm: Wo sind die Männer, die diese Nacht zu dir gekommen sind? Bringe sie heraus zu uns, daß wir sie erkennen!

Y llamaron á Lot, y le dijeron: ¿Dónde están los varones que vinieron á ti esta noche? sácanoslos, para que los conozcamos.

And they called unto Lot, and said unto him, Where are the men which came in to thee this night? bring them out unto us, that we may know them.

They called to Lot, and said to him, “Where are the men who came in to you this night? Bring them out to us, that we may have sex with them.”

Da ging Lot zu ihnen hinaus und schloß die Tür hinter sich zu.

Entonces Lot salió á ellos á la puerta, y cerró las puertas tras sí,

And Lot went out at the door unto them, and shut the door after him,

Und sprach: Ach, meine Brüder, tut doch nicht so übel!

Y dijo: Os ruego, hermanos míos, que no hagáis tal maldad.

And said, I pray you, brethren, do not so wickedly.

He said, “Please, my brothers, don’t act so wickedly.

Siehe, ich habe zwei Töchter, die haben noch keinen Mann erkannt, die will ich zu euch hinausführen, daß ihr mit ihnen tut, was euch gut dünkt; nur diesen Männern tut nichts, weil sie doch unter den Schatten meines Daches gekommen sind!

He aquí ahora yo tengo dos hijas que no han conocido varón; os las sacaré afuera, y haced de ellas como bien os pareciere: solamente á estos varones no hagáis nada, pues que vinieron á la sombra de mi tejado.

Behold now, I have two daughters which have not known man; let me, I pray you, bring them out unto you, and do ye to them as is good in your eyes: only unto these men do nothing; for therefore came they under the shadow of my roof.

See now, I have two virgin daughters. Please let me bring them out to you, and you may do to them what seems good to you. Only don’t do anything to these men, because they have come under the shadow of my roof.”

Sie aber sprachen: Mach, daß du fortkommst! Darnach sprachen sie: Der ist der einzige Fremdling hier und will den Richter spielen! Nun wollen wir dir's noch ärger machen als ihnen! Und sie drangen hart auf den Mann, auf Lot ein und machten sich daran, die Türe aufzubrechen.

Y ellos respondieron: Quita allá: y añadieron: Vino éste aquí para habitar como un extraño, ¿y habrá de erigirse en juez? Ahora te haremos más mal que á ellos. Y hacían gran violencia al varón, á Lot, y se acercaron para romper las puertas.

And they said, Stand back. And they said again, This one fellow came in to sojourn, and he will needs be a judge: now will we deal worse with thee, than with them. And they pressed sore upon the man, even Lot, and came near to break the door.

They said, “Stand back!” Then they said, “This one fellow came in to live as a foreigner, and he appoints himself a judge. Now we will deal worse with you than with them!” They pressed hard on the man Lot, and came near to break the door.

Da streckten die Männer ihre Hände hinaus und zogen Lot zu sich hinein und schlossen die Türe zu

Entonces los varones alargaron la mano, y metieron á Lot en casa con ellos, y cerraron las puertas.

But the men put forth their hand, and pulled Lot into the house to them, and shut to the door.

und schlugen die Männer vor der Haustüre mit Blindheit, beide klein und groß, daß sie müde wurden, die Tür zu suchen.

Y á los hombres que estaban á la puerta de la casa desde el menor hasta el mayor, hirieron con ceguera; mas ellos se fatigaban por hallar la puerta.

And they smote the men that were at the door of the house with blindness, both small and great: so that they wearied themselves to find the door.

Und die Männer sprachen zu Lot: Hast du noch jemand hier, einen Tochtermann oder Söhne oder Töchter? Wer dir in der Stadt zugehört, den führe hinaus von diesem Ort!

Y dijeron los varones á Lot: ¿Tienes aquí alguno más? Yernos, y tus hijos y tus hijas, y todo lo que tienes en la ciudad, sácalo de este lugar:

And the men said unto Lot, Hast thou here any besides? son in law, and thy sons, and thy daughters, and whatsoever thou hast in the city, bring them out of this place:

The men said to Lot, “Do you have anybody else here? Sons-in-law, your sons, your daughters, and whomever you have in the city, bring them out of the place:

Denn wir werden diesen Ort verderben, weil das Geschrei über sie groß ist vor dem HERRN; und der HERR hat uns gesandt, sie zu verderben.

Porque vamos á destruir este lugar, por cuanto el clamor de ellos ha subido de punto delante de Jehová; por tanto Jehová nos ha enviado para destruirlo.

For we will destroy this place, because the cry of them is waxen great before the face of the LORD; and the LORD hath sent us to destroy it.

for we will destroy this place, because the outcry against them has grown so great before the LORD that the LORD has sent us to destroy it.”

Da ging Lot hinaus und redete mit seinen Tochtermännern, die seine Töchter nehmen sollten, und sprach: Machet euch auf, gehet aus von diesem Ort; denn der HERR wird diese Stadt verderben! Aber es kam seinen Tochtermännern vor, als scherze er.

Entonces salió Lot, y habló á sus yernos, los que habían de tomar sus hijas, y les dijo: Levantaos, salid de este lugar; porque Jehová va á destruir esta ciudad. Mas pareció á sus yernos como que se burlaba.

And Lot went out, and spake unto his sons in law, which married his daughters, and said, Up, get you out of this place; for the LORD will destroy this city. But he seemed as one that mocked unto his sons in law.

Lot went out, and spoke to his sons-in-law, who were pledged to marry his daughters, and said, “Get up! Get out of this place, for the LORD will destroy the city!” But he seemed to his sons-in-law to be joking.

Da nun die Morgenröte aufging, hießen die Engel Lot eilen und sprachen: Mache dich auf, nimm dein Weib und deine beiden Töchter, die vorhanden sind, damit du nicht in der Missetat dieser Stadt umkommest!

Y al rayar el alba, los ángeles daban prisa á Lot, diciendo: Levántate, toma tu mujer, y tus dos hijas que se hallan aquí, porque no perezcas en el castigo de la ciudad.

And when the morning arose, then the angels hastened Lot, saying, Arise, take thy wife, and thy two daughters, which are here; lest thou be consumed in the iniquity of the city.

When the morning came, then the angels hurried Lot, saying, “Get up! Take your wife and your two daughters who are here, lest you be consumed in the iniquity of the city.”

Als er aber verzog, ergriffen die Männer ihn und sein Weib und seine beiden Töchter bei der Hand, weil der HERR ihn verschonen wollte, und führten ihn hinaus und ließen ihn draußen vor der Stadt.

Y deteniéndose él, los varones asieron de su mano, y de la mano de su mujer, y de las manos de sus dos hijas, según la misericordia de Jehová para con él; y le sacaron, y le pusieron fuera de la ciudad.

And while he lingered, the men laid hold upon his hand, and upon the hand of his wife, and upon the hand of his two daughters; the LORD being merciful unto him: and they brought him forth, and set him without the city.

But he lingered; and the men grabbed his hand, his wife’s hand, and his two daughters’ hands, the LORD being merciful to him; and they took him out, and set him outside of the city.

Und als sie dieselben hinausgeführt hatten, sprach er: Errette deine Seele und siehe nicht hinter dich; stehe auch nicht still in dieser ganzen Umgegend! Auf den Berg rette dich, daß du nicht weggerafft werdest!

Y fué que cuando los hubo sacado fuera, dijo: Escapa por tu vida; no mires tras ti, ni pares en toda esta llanura; escapa al monte, no sea que perezcas.

And it came to pass, when they had brought them forth abroad, that he said, Escape for thy life; look not behind thee, neither stay thou in all the plain; escape to the mountain, lest thou be consumed.

It came to pass, when they had taken them out, that he said, “Escape for your life! Don’t look behind you, and don’t stay anywhere in the plain. Escape to the mountains, lest you be consumed!”

Aber Lot sprach zu ihnen: Ach nein, mein Herr!

Y Lot les dijo: No, yo os ruego, señores míos;

And Lot said unto them, Oh, not so, my Lord:

Lot said to them, “Oh, not so, my lord.

Siehe doch, dein Knecht hat vor deinen Augen Gnade gefunden, und du hast mir große Barmherzigkeit erwiesen, daß du meine Seele am Leben erhieltest. Aber auf den Berg kann ich mich nicht retten; das Unglück könnte mich ereilen, daß ich stürbe!

He aquí ahora ha hallado tu siervo gracia en tus ojos, y has engrandecido tu misericordia que has hecho conmigo dándome la vida; mas yo no podré escapar al monte, no sea caso que me alcance el mal, y muera.

Behold now, thy servant hath found grace in thy sight, and thou hast magnified thy mercy, which thou hast shewed unto me in saving my life; and I cannot escape to the mountain, lest some evil take me, and I die:

See now, your servant has found favor in your sight, and you have magnified your loving kindness, which you have shown to me in saving my life. I can’t escape to the mountain, lest evil overtake me, and I die.

Siehe, jene Stadt ist so nahe, daß ich dahin fliehen könnte; und sie ist klein. Ach, laß mich dahin fliehen! Ist sie nicht eine kleine Stadt? Nur daß meine Seele lebendig bleibe!

He aquí ahora esta ciudad está cerca para huir allá, la cual es pequeña; escaparé ahora allá, (¿no es ella pequeña?) y vivirá mi alma.

Behold now, this city is near to flee unto, and it is a little one: Oh, let me escape thither, (is it not a little one?) and my soul shall live.

See now, this city is near to flee to, and it is a little one. Oh let me escape there (isn’t it a little one?), and my soul will live.”

Da sprach er zu ihm: Siehe, ich habe dich auch in diesem Stück erhört, daß ich die Stadt nicht umkehre, von welcher du geredet hast.

Y le respondió: He aquí he recibido también tu súplica sobre esto, y no destruiré la ciudad de que has hablado.

And he said unto him, See, I have accepted thee concerning this thing also, that I will not overthrow this city, for the which thou hast spoken.

He said to him, “Behold, I have granted your request concerning this thing also, that I will not overthrow the city of which you have spoken.

Eile, rette dich daselbst hin; denn ich kann nichts tun, bis du hineingekommen bist! Daher wird die Stadt Zoar genannt.

Date priesa, escápate allá; porque nada podré hacer hasta que allí hayas llegado. Por esto fué llamado el nombre de la ciudad, Zoar.

Haste thee, escape thither; for I cannot do any thing till thou be come thither. Therefore the name of the city was called Zoar.

Hurry, escape there, for I can’t do anything until you get there.” Therefore the name of the city was called Zoar.

Und die Sonne war auf Erden aufgegangen, als Lot nach Zoar kam.

El sol salía sobre la tierra, cuando Lot llegó á Zoar.

The sun was risen upon the earth when Lot entered into Zoar.

Da ließ der HERR Schwefel und Feuer regnen auf Sodom und Gomorra, vom HERRN, vom Himmel herab,

Entonces llovió Jehová sobre Sodoma y sobre Gomorra azufre y fuego de parte de Jehová desde los cielos;

Then the LORD rained upon Sodom and upon Gomorrah brimstone and fire from the LORD out of heaven;

und kehrte die Städte um und die ganze Umgebung und alle Einwohner der Städte und was auf dem Lande gewachsen war.

Y destruyó las ciudades, y toda aquella llanura, con todos los moradores de aquellas ciudades, y el fruto de la tierra.

Und sein Weib sah hinter sich und ward zur Salzsäule.

Abraham aber machte sich am Morgen früh auf an den Ort, da er vor dem HERRN gestanden hatte.

Y subió Abraham por la mañana al lugar donde había estado delante de Jehová:

Und er wandte sein Angesicht gen Sodom und Gomorra und gegen das ganze Land jener Gegend und sah sich um, und siehe, ein Rauch ging auf von dem Lande, wie ein Rauch vom Kalkofen.

Y miró hacia Sodoma y Gomorra, y hacia toda la tierra de aquella llanura miró; y he aquí que el humo subía de la tierra como el humo de un horno.

And he looked toward Sodom and Gomorrah, and toward all the land of the plain, and beheld, and, lo, the smoke of the country went up as the smoke of a furnace.

Und als Gott die Städte in jener Ebene verderbte, da gedachte Gott an Abraham, und er führte Lot mitten aus dem Verderben, als er die Städte umkehrte, darinnen Lot gewohnt hatte.

Así fué que, cuando destruyó Dios las ciudades de la llanura, acordóse Dios de Abraham, y envió fuera á Lot de en medio de la destrucción, al asolar las ciudades donde Lot estaba.

And it came to pass, when God destroyed the cities of the plain, that God remembered Abraham, and sent Lot out of the midst of the overthrow, when he overthrew the cities in the which Lot dwelt.

Und Lot ging von Zoar hinauf und blieb mit seinen beiden Töchtern auf dem Berge; denn er fürchtete sich in Zoar zu bleiben; und er wohnte mit seinen Töchtern in einer Höhle.

And Lot went up out of Zoar, and dwelt in the mountain, and his two daughters with him; for he feared to dwell in Zoar: and he dwelt in a cave, he and his two daughters.

Da sprach die ältere zu der jüngeren: Unser Vater ist alt, und es ist kein Mann mehr auf Erden, der zu uns kommen möge nach aller Welt Weise.

Entonces la mayor dijo á la menor: Nuestro padre es viejo, y no queda varón en la tierra que entre á nosotras conforme á la costumbre de toda la tierra:

And the firstborn said unto the younger, Our father is old, and there is not a man in the earth to come in unto us after the manner of all the earth:

The firstborn said to the younger, “Our father is old, and there is not a man in the earth to come in to us in the way of all the earth.

So komm, wir wollen unsern Vater mit Wein tränken und bei ihm liegen.

Ven, demos á beber vino á nuestro padre, y durmamos con él, y conservaremos de nuestro padre generación.

Come, let us make our father drink wine, and we will lie with him, that we may preserve seed of our father.

Come, let’s make our father drink wine, and we will lie with him, that we may preserve our father’s family line.”

Also tränkten sie ihren Vater mit Wein in derselben Nacht. Und die ältere ging und legte sich zu ihrem Vater, und er gewahrte es nicht, weder als sie sich legte, noch als sie aufstand.

Y dieron á beber vino á su padre aquella noche: y entró la mayor, y durmió con su padre; mas él no sintió cuándo se acostó ella, ni cuándo se levantó.

And they made their father drink wine that night: and the firstborn went in, and lay with her father; and he perceived not when she lay down, nor when she arose.

Am Morgen sprach die ältere zu der jüngern: Siehe, ich bin gestern bei meinem Vater gelegen; wir wollen ihn auch diese Nacht mit Wein tränken, daß du hingehest und dich zu ihm legest, daß wir Samen von unserm Vater erhalten.

El día siguiente dijo la mayor á la menor: He aquí yo dormí la noche pasada con mi padre; démosle á beber vino también esta noche, y entra y duerme con él, para que conservemos de nuestro padre generación.

And it came to pass on the morrow, that the firstborn said unto the younger, Behold, I lay yesternight with my father: let us make him drink wine this night also; and go thou in, and lie with him, that we may preserve seed of our father.

It came to pass on the next day, that the firstborn said to the younger, “Behold, I lay last night with my father. Let’s make him drink wine again tonight. You go in, and lie with him, that we may preserve our father’s family line.”

Also tränkten sie ihren Vater dieselbe Nacht mit Wein. Und die jüngere machte sich auf und legte sich zu ihm, und er merkte es nicht, weder als sie sich legte, noch als sie aufstand.

Y dieron á beber vino á su padre también aquella noche: y levantóse la menor, y durmió con él; pero no echó de ver cuándo se acostó ella, ni cuándo se levantó.

And they made their father drink wine that night also: and the younger arose, and lay with him; and he perceived not when she lay down, nor when she arose.

Also wurden die beiden Töchter Lots schwanger von ihrem Vater.

Y concibieron las dos hijas de Lot, de su padre.

Thus were both the daughters of Lot with child by their father.

Und die ältere gebar einen Sohn, den hieß sie Moab; der ward der Vater der Moabiter von heutzutage.

Y parió la mayor un hijo, y llamó su nombre Moab, el cual es padre de los Moabitas hasta hoy.

And the firstborn bare a son, and called his name Moab: the same is the father of the Moabites unto this day.

Und die jüngere gebar auch einen Sohn, den hieß sie Ben-Ammi; der ward der Vater der Kinder Ammon von heutzutage.

La menor también parió un hijo, y llamó su nombre Ben-ammí, el cual es padre de los Ammonitas hasta hoy.

And the younger, she also bare a son, and called his name Ben-ammi: the same is the father of the children of Ammon unto this day.
