Génesis 19

Os dois anjos chegaram a Sodoma ao anoitecer. Ló estava sentado à porta de Sodoma. Ló os viu e levantou-se para ir ao encontro deles. Ele se prostrou com o rosto em terra,

LLEGARON, pues, los dos ángeles á Sodoma á la caída de la tarde: y Lot estaba sentado á la puerta de Sodoma. Y viéndolos Lot, levantóse á recibirlos, é inclinóse hacia el suelo;

And there came two angels to Sodom at even; and Lot sat in the gate of Sodom: and Lot seeing them rose up to meet them; and he bowed himself with his face toward the ground;

The two angels came to Sodom at evening. Lot sat in the gate of Sodom. Lot saw them, and rose up to meet them. He bowed himself with his face to the earth,

e disse: “Vejam agora, meus senhores, por favor, entrem na casa do seu servo, passem a noite, lavem os seus pés, e poderão levantar-se cedo e seguir o seu caminho.” Eles disseram: “Não, mas passaremos a noite na praça.”

Y dijo: Ahora, pues, mis señores, os ruego que vengáis á casa de vuestro siervo y os hospedéis, y lavaréis vuestros pies: y por la mañana os levantaréis, y seguiréis vuestro camino. Y ellos respondieron: No, que en la plaza nos quedaremos esta noche.

And he said, Behold now, my lords, turn in, I pray you, into your servant’s house, and tarry all night, and wash your feet, and ye shall rise up early, and go on your ways. And they said, Nay; but we will abide in the street all night.

and he said, “See now, my lords, please come into your servant’s house, stay all night, wash your feet, and you can rise up early, and go on your way.” They said, “No, but we will stay in the street all night.”

Ele insistiu muito com eles, e eles o acompanharam e entraram em sua casa. Ele lhes preparou um banquete, assou pães sem fermento, e eles comeram.

Mas él porfió con ellos mucho, y se vinieron con él, y entraron en su casa; é hízoles banquete, y coció panes sin levadura, y comieron.

And he pressed upon them greatly; and they turned in unto him, and entered into his house; and he made them a feast, and did bake unleavened bread, and they did eat.

Mas, antes que se deitassem, os homens da cidade, os homens de Sodoma, cercaram a casa, tanto jovens quanto velhos, todo o povo de todos os lados.

Y antes que se acostasen, cercaron la casa los hombres de la ciudad, los varones de Sodoma, todo el pueblo junto, desde el más joven hasta el más viejo;

But before they lay down, the men of the city, even the men of Sodom, compassed the house round, both old and young, all the people from every quarter:

Eles chamaram Ló e lhe disseram: “Onde estão os homens que vieram para a sua casa esta noite? Traga-os para fora a nós, para que tenhamos relações sexuais com eles.”

Y llamaron á Lot, y le dijeron: ¿Dónde están los varones que vinieron á ti esta noche? sácanoslos, para que los conozcamos.

And they called unto Lot, and said unto him, Where are the men which came in to thee this night? bring them out unto us, that we may know them.

They called to Lot, and said to him, “Where are the men who came in to you this night? Bring them out to us, that we may have sex with them.”

Ló saiu até eles à porta, e fechou a porta atrás de si.

Entonces Lot salió á ellos á la puerta, y cerró las puertas tras sí,

And Lot went out at the door unto them, and shut the door after him,

Ele disse: “Por favor, meus irmãos, não ajam com tanta maldade.

Y dijo: Os ruego, hermanos míos, que no hagáis tal maldad.

And said, I pray you, brethren, do not so wickedly.

He said, “Please, my brothers, don’t act so wickedly.

Vejam agora, eu tenho duas filhas virgens. Por favor, deixem-me trazê-las para fora a vocês, e vocês podem fazer com elas o que lhes parecer bem. Apenas não façam nada a estes homens, porque eles vieram para debaixo da sombra do meu teto.”

He aquí ahora yo tengo dos hijas que no han conocido varón; os las sacaré afuera, y haced de ellas como bien os pareciere: solamente á estos varones no hagáis nada, pues que vinieron á la sombra de mi tejado.

Behold now, I have two daughters which have not known man; let me, I pray you, bring them out unto you, and do ye to them as is good in your eyes: only unto these men do nothing; for therefore came they under the shadow of my roof.

See now, I have two virgin daughters. Please let me bring them out to you, and you may do to them what seems good to you. Only don’t do anything to these men, because they have come under the shadow of my roof.”

Eles disseram: “Afaste-se!” Então disseram: “Este indivíduo veio morar aqui como estrangeiro, e agora quer se colocar como juiz. Agora faremos pior a você do que a eles!” Eles pressionaram fortemente o homem, Ló, e se aproximaram para arrombar a porta.

Y ellos respondieron: Quita allá: y añadieron: Vino éste aquí para habitar como un extraño, ¿y habrá de erigirse en juez? Ahora te haremos más mal que á ellos. Y hacían gran violencia al varón, á Lot, y se acercaron para romper las puertas.

And they said, Stand back. And they said again, This one fellow came in to sojourn, and he will needs be a judge: now will we deal worse with thee, than with them. And they pressed sore upon the man, even Lot, and came near to break the door.

They said, “Stand back!” Then they said, “This one fellow came in to live as a foreigner, and he appoints himself a judge. Now we will deal worse with you than with them!” They pressed hard on the man Lot, and came near to break the door.

Mas os homens estenderam a mão, puxaram Ló para dentro da casa com eles, e fecharam a porta.

Entonces los varones alargaron la mano, y metieron á Lot en casa con ellos, y cerraron las puertas.

But the men put forth their hand, and pulled Lot into the house to them, and shut to the door.

Eles feriram com cegueira os homens que estavam à porta da casa, tanto os pequenos quanto os grandes, de modo que se cansaram de procurar a porta.

Y á los hombres que estaban á la puerta de la casa desde el menor hasta el mayor, hirieron con ceguera; mas ellos se fatigaban por hallar la puerta.

And they smote the men that were at the door of the house with blindness, both small and great: so that they wearied themselves to find the door.

Os homens disseram a Ló: “Você tem mais alguém aqui? Genros, seus filhos, suas filhas, e quem quer que você tenha na cidade, tire-os deste lugar;

Y dijeron los varones á Lot: ¿Tienes aquí alguno más? Yernos, y tus hijos y tus hijas, y todo lo que tienes en la ciudad, sácalo de este lugar:

And the men said unto Lot, Hast thou here any besides? son in law, and thy sons, and thy daughters, and whatsoever thou hast in the city, bring them out of this place:

The men said to Lot, “Do you have anybody else here? Sons-in-law, your sons, your daughters, and whomever you have in the city, bring them out of the place:

pois nós vamos destruir este lugar, porque o clamor contra eles se tornou tão grande diante do SENHOR que o SENHOR nos enviou para destruí-lo.”

Porque vamos á destruir este lugar, por cuanto el clamor de ellos ha subido de punto delante de Jehová; por tanto Jehová nos ha enviado para destruirlo.

For we will destroy this place, because the cry of them is waxen great before the face of the LORD; and the LORD hath sent us to destroy it.

for we will destroy this place, because the outcry against them has grown so great before the LORD that the LORD has sent us to destroy it.”

Ló saiu e falou com seus genros, que estavam noivos de suas filhas, e disse: “Levantem-se! Saiam deste lugar, pois o SENHOR destruirá a cidade!” Mas para seus genros pareceu que ele estava brincando.

Entonces salió Lot, y habló á sus yernos, los que habían de tomar sus hijas, y les dijo: Levantaos, salid de este lugar; porque Jehová va á destruir esta ciudad. Mas pareció á sus yernos como que se burlaba.

And Lot went out, and spake unto his sons in law, which married his daughters, and said, Up, get you out of this place; for the LORD will destroy this city. But he seemed as one that mocked unto his sons in law.

Lot went out, and spoke to his sons-in-law, who were pledged to marry his daughters, and said, “Get up! Get out of this place, for the LORD will destroy the city!” But he seemed to his sons-in-law to be joking.

Quando amanheceu, os anjos apressaram Ló, dizendo: “Levante-se! Pegue sua mulher e suas duas filhas que estão aqui, para que você não seja consumido na iniquidade da cidade.”

Y al rayar el alba, los ángeles daban prisa á Lot, diciendo: Levántate, toma tu mujer, y tus dos hijas que se hallan aquí, porque no perezcas en el castigo de la ciudad.

And when the morning arose, then the angels hastened Lot, saying, Arise, take thy wife, and thy two daughters, which are here; lest thou be consumed in the iniquity of the city.

When the morning came, then the angels hurried Lot, saying, “Get up! Take your wife and your two daughters who are here, lest you be consumed in the iniquity of the city.”

Mas ele hesitou; então os homens agarraram a sua mão, a mão de sua mulher e as mãos de suas duas filhas, sendo o SENHOR misericordioso para com ele; e eles o tiraram e o deixaram fora da cidade.

Y deteniéndose él, los varones asieron de su mano, y de la mano de su mujer, y de las manos de sus dos hijas, según la misericordia de Jehová para con él; y le sacaron, y le pusieron fuera de la ciudad.

And while he lingered, the men laid hold upon his hand, and upon the hand of his wife, and upon the hand of his two daughters; the LORD being merciful unto him: and they brought him forth, and set him without the city.

But he lingered; and the men grabbed his hand, his wife’s hand, and his two daughters’ hands, the LORD being merciful to him; and they took him out, and set him outside of the city.

Aconteceu que, quando os haviam tirado para fora, um deles disse: “Fuja por sua vida! Não olhe para trás, e não fique em nenhum lugar da planície. Fuja para as montanhas, para que você não seja consumido!”

Y fué que cuando los hubo sacado fuera, dijo: Escapa por tu vida; no mires tras ti, ni pares en toda esta llanura; escapa al monte, no sea que perezcas.

And it came to pass, when they had brought them forth abroad, that he said, Escape for thy life; look not behind thee, neither stay thou in all the plain; escape to the mountain, lest thou be consumed.

It came to pass, when they had taken them out, that he said, “Escape for your life! Don’t look behind you, and don’t stay anywhere in the plain. Escape to the mountains, lest you be consumed!”

Ló lhes disse: “Ah, não, meu senhor.

Y Lot les dijo: No, yo os ruego, señores míos;

And Lot said unto them, Oh, not so, my Lord:

Lot said to them, “Oh, not so, my lord.

Veja agora, o seu servo encontrou favor aos seus olhos, e o senhor engrandeceu a sua bondade, que me demonstrou ao salvar a minha vida. Eu não posso fugir para a montanha, para que o mal não me alcance, e eu morra.

He aquí ahora ha hallado tu siervo gracia en tus ojos, y has engrandecido tu misericordia que has hecho conmigo dándome la vida; mas yo no podré escapar al monte, no sea caso que me alcance el mal, y muera.

Behold now, thy servant hath found grace in thy sight, and thou hast magnified thy mercy, which thou hast shewed unto me in saving my life; and I cannot escape to the mountain, lest some evil take me, and I die:

See now, your servant has found favor in your sight, and you have magnified your loving kindness, which you have shown to me in saving my life. I can’t escape to the mountain, lest evil overtake me, and I die.

Veja agora, esta cidade está perto para fugir, e é pequena. Ah, deixe-me fugir para lá (não é ela pequena?), e a minha alma viverá.”

He aquí ahora esta ciudad está cerca para huir allá, la cual es pequeña; escaparé ahora allá, (¿no es ella pequeña?) y vivirá mi alma.

Behold now, this city is near to flee unto, and it is a little one: Oh, let me escape thither, (is it not a little one?) and my soul shall live.

See now, this city is near to flee to, and it is a little one. Oh let me escape there (isn’t it a little one?), and my soul will live.”

Ele lhe disse: “Eis que atendi ao seu pedido também quanto a isso, de modo que não destruirei a cidade da qual você falou.

Y le respondió: He aquí he recibido también tu súplica sobre esto, y no destruiré la ciudad de que has hablado.

And he said unto him, See, I have accepted thee concerning this thing also, that I will not overthrow this city, for the which thou hast spoken.

He said to him, “Behold, I have granted your request concerning this thing also, that I will not overthrow the city of which you have spoken.

Apresse-se, fuja para lá, pois nada posso fazer até que você chegue lá.” Por isso o nome da cidade foi chamado Zoar.

Date priesa, escápate allá; porque nada podré hacer hasta que allí hayas llegado. Por esto fué llamado el nombre de la ciudad, Zoar.

Haste thee, escape thither; for I cannot do any thing till thou be come thither. Therefore the name of the city was called Zoar.

Hurry, escape there, for I can’t do anything until you get there.” Therefore the name of the city was called Zoar.

O sol havia nascido sobre a terra quando Ló chegou a Zoar.

El sol salía sobre la tierra, cuando Lot llegó á Zoar.

The sun was risen upon the earth when Lot entered into Zoar.

The sun had risen on the earth when Lot came to Zoar.

Então o SENHOR fez chover sobre Sodoma e sobre Gomorra enxofre e fogo da parte do SENHOR, desde o céu.

Entonces llovió Jehová sobre Sodoma y sobre Gomorra azufre y fuego de parte de Jehová desde los cielos;

Then the LORD rained upon Sodom and upon Gomorrah brimstone and fire from the LORD out of heaven;

Then the LORD rained on Sodom and on Gomorrah sulfur and fire from the LORD out of the sky.

Ele destruiu aquelas cidades, toda a planície, todos os habitantes das cidades, e o que nascia na terra.

Y destruyó las ciudades, y toda aquella llanura, con todos los moradores de aquellas ciudades, y el fruto de la tierra.

And he overthrew those cities, and all the plain, and all the inhabitants of the cities, and that which grew upon the ground.

Mas a mulher de Ló olhou para trás dele, e ela se tornou uma estátua de sal.

Entonces la mujer de Lot miró atrás, á espaldas de él, y se volvió estatua de sal.

But his wife looked back from behind him, and she became a pillar of salt.

Abraão levantou-se de madrugada e foi ao lugar onde havia estado diante do SENHOR.

Y subió Abraham por la mañana al lugar donde había estado delante de Jehová:

And Abraham gat up early in the morning to the place where he stood before the LORD:

Ele olhou para Sodoma e Gomorra, e para toda a terra da planície, e viu que a fumaça da terra subia como a fumaça de uma fornalha.

Y miró hacia Sodoma y Gomorra, y hacia toda la tierra de aquella llanura miró; y he aquí que el humo subía de la tierra como el humo de un horno.

And he looked toward Sodom and Gomorrah, and toward all the land of the plain, and beheld, and, lo, the smoke of the country went up as the smoke of a furnace.

Quando Deus destruiu as cidades da planície, Deus se lembrou de Abraão, e tirou Ló do meio da destruição, quando destruiu as cidades nas quais Ló morava.

Así fué que, cuando destruyó Dios las ciudades de la llanura, acordóse Dios de Abraham, y envió fuera á Lot de en medio de la destrucción, al asolar las ciudades donde Lot estaba.

And it came to pass, when God destroyed the cities of the plain, that God remembered Abraham, and sent Lot out of the midst of the overthrow, when he overthrew the cities in the which Lot dwelt.

Ló subiu de Zoar e foi morar na montanha, e suas duas filhas com ele; pois ele teve medo de morar em Zoar. Ele morou em uma caverna com suas duas filhas.

Empero Lot subió de Zoar, y asentó en el monte, y sus dos hijas con él; porque tuvo miedo de quedar en Zoar, y se alojó en una cueva él y sus dos hijas.

And Lot went up out of Zoar, and dwelt in the mountain, and his two daughters with him; for he feared to dwell in Zoar: and he dwelt in a cave, he and his two daughters.

A primogênita disse à mais nova: “Nosso pai está velho, e não há nenhum homem na terra para se unir a nós segundo o costume de toda a terra.

Entonces la mayor dijo á la menor: Nuestro padre es viejo, y no queda varón en la tierra que entre á nosotras conforme á la costumbre de toda la tierra:

And the firstborn said unto the younger, Our father is old, and there is not a man in the earth to come in unto us after the manner of all the earth:

The firstborn said to the younger, “Our father is old, and there is not a man in the earth to come in to us in the way of all the earth.

Venha, vamos dar vinho ao nosso pai para beber, e nos deitaremos com ele, para que possamos preservar a descendência do nosso pai.”

Ven, demos á beber vino á nuestro padre, y durmamos con él, y conservaremos de nuestro padre generación.

Come, let us make our father drink wine, and we will lie with him, that we may preserve seed of our father.

Come, let’s make our father drink wine, and we will lie with him, that we may preserve our father’s family line.”

Elas deram vinho ao seu pai para beber naquela noite; e a primogênita entrou e se deitou com o seu pai. Ele não percebeu quando ela se deitou, nem quando se levantou.

Y dieron á beber vino á su padre aquella noche: y entró la mayor, y durmió con su padre; mas él no sintió cuándo se acostó ella, ni cuándo se levantó.

And they made their father drink wine that night: and the firstborn went in, and lay with her father; and he perceived not when she lay down, nor when she arose.

Aconteceu no dia seguinte que a primogênita disse à mais nova: “Eis que na noite passada eu me deitei com o meu pai. Vamos dar-lhe vinho para beber de novo esta noite. Você entra e se deita com ele, para que possamos preservar a descendência do nosso pai.”

El día siguiente dijo la mayor á la menor: He aquí yo dormí la noche pasada con mi padre; démosle á beber vino también esta noche, y entra y duerme con él, para que conservemos de nuestro padre generación.

And it came to pass on the morrow, that the firstborn said unto the younger, Behold, I lay yesternight with my father: let us make him drink wine this night also; and go thou in, and lie with him, that we may preserve seed of our father.

It came to pass on the next day, that the firstborn said to the younger, “Behold, I lay last night with my father. Let’s make him drink wine again tonight. You go in, and lie with him, that we may preserve our father’s family line.”

Elas deram vinho ao seu pai para beber também naquela noite. A mais nova foi e se deitou com ele. Ele não percebeu quando ela se deitou, nem quando se levantou.

Y dieron á beber vino á su padre también aquella noche: y levantóse la menor, y durmió con él; pero no echó de ver cuándo se acostó ella, ni cuándo se levantó.

And they made their father drink wine that night also: and the younger arose, and lay with him; and he perceived not when she lay down, nor when she arose.

Assim, ambas as filhas de Ló engravidaram do seu pai.

Y concibieron las dos hijas de Lot, de su padre.

Thus were both the daughters of Lot with child by their father.

A primogênita deu à luz um filho e o chamou de Moabe. Ele é o pai dos moabitas até o dia de hoje.

Y parió la mayor un hijo, y llamó su nombre Moab, el cual es padre de los Moabitas hasta hoy.

And the firstborn bare a son, and called his name Moab: the same is the father of the Moabites unto this day.

A mais nova também deu à luz um filho e o chamou de Ben-Ami. Ele é o pai dos filhos de Amom até o dia de hoje.

La menor también parió un hijo, y llamó su nombre Ben-ammí, el cual es padre de los Ammonitas hasta hoy.

And the younger, she also bare a son, and called his name Ben-ammi: the same is the father of the children of Ammon unto this day.
