8Eh bien ! voici, j'ai deux filles qui n'ont point encore connu d'homme ; je vais donc vous les amener dehors, et vous en userez avec elles à votre gré ; seulement ne faites rien à ces hommes ; car c'est dans cette supposition qu'ils sont entrés à l'ombre de mon toit.

8Behold now, I have two daughters which have not known man; let me, I pray you, bring them out unto you, and do ye to them as is good in your eyes: only unto these men do nothing; for therefore came they under the shadow of my roof.

8See now, I have two virgin daughters. Please let me bring them out to you, and you may do to them what seems good to you. Only don’t do anything to these men, because they have come under the shadow of my roof.”
