La minore ancora partorì un figliuolo, e gli pose nome Ammon, vale a dire figliuolo del popol mio: egli è il padre degli Ammoniti, che sussistono fino al dì d'oggi. Ad Abramo pellegrino in Gerara è tolta la moglie; ma è rimandata intatta con grandi doni per comando del Signore; e alle orazioni di Abramo è renduta la sanità alla famiglia del re.
