Génesis 18

Und es erschien (ließ sich sehen, wurde sichtbar) {zu} ihm JHWH bei den Terebinten von Mamre; während er gerade †am Eingang des Zeltes saß, als der Tag heiß war.

Y APARECIÓLE Jehová en el valle de Mamre, estando él sentado á la puerta de su tienda en el calor del día.

And the LORD appeared unto him in the plains of Mamre: and he sat in the tent door in the heat of the day;

The LORD appeared to him by the oaks of Mamre, as he sat in the tent door in the heat of the day.

Und er erhob seine Augen (blickte auf) und sah, dass da drei Männer vor ihm standen; und als er †sie sah, lief er ihnen vom Eingang des Zeltes entgegen und warf sich nieder auf die Erde.

Y alzó sus ojos y miró, y he aquí tres varones que estaban junto á él: y cuando los vió, salió corriendo de la puerta de su tienda á recibirlos, é inclinóse hacia la tierra,

And he lift up his eyes and looked, and, lo, three men stood by him: and when he saw them, he ran to meet them from the tent door, and bowed himself toward the ground,

He lifted up his eyes and looked, and saw that three men stood near him. When he saw them, he ran to meet them from the tent door, and bowed himself to the earth,

Und er sagte: Bitte Herr, wenn ich Gunst (Gnade, Zuneigung, Freundlichkeit) in deinen Augen gefunden habe, gehe bitte nicht vorbei an deinem Diener (Knecht, Sklaven).

Y dijo: Señor, si ahora he hallado gracia en tus ojos, ruégote que no pases de tu siervo.

And said, My Lord, if now I have found favour in thy sight, pass not away, I pray thee, from thy servant:

and said, “My lord, if now I have found favor in your sight, please don’t go away from your servant.

Lasst euch doch ein wenig Wasser bringen, damit ihr eure Füße waschen und euch unter den Baum legen könnt.

Que se traiga ahora un poco de agua, y lavad vuestros pies; y recostaos debajo de un árbol,

Let a little water, I pray you, be fetched, and wash your feet, and rest yourselves under the tree:

Now let a little water be fetched, wash your feet, and rest yourselves under the tree.

Und ich will einen Bissen Brot holen, damit ihr euch stärken könnt; danach könnt ihr weiterziehen. Denn dazu seid ihr †doch bei eurem Diener vorbeigekommen. Und sie sagten: Mach es so, wie du gesagt (geredet) hast.

Y traeré un bocado de pan, y sustentad vuestro corazón; después pasaréis: porque por eso habéis pasado cerca de vuestro siervo. Y ellos dijeron: Haz así como has dicho.

And I will fetch a morsel of bread, and comfort ye your hearts; after that ye shall pass on: for therefore are ye come to your servant. And they said, So do, as thou hast said.

I will get a piece of bread so you can refresh your heart. After that you may go your way, now that you have come to your servant.” They said, “Very well, do as you have said.”

Da eilte Abraham ins Zelt zu Sara und sagte: Hole rasch drei Sea Mehl, †und zwar feinen Weizengrieß, knete es und mache Brotfladen.

Entonces Abraham fué de priesa á la tienda á Sara, y le dijo: Toma presto tres medidas de flor de harina, amasa y haz panes cocidos debajo del rescoldo.

And Abraham hastened into the tent unto Sarah, and said, Make ready quickly three measures of fine meal, knead it, and make cakes upon the hearth.

Abraham hurried into the tent to Sarah, and said, “Quickly prepare three seahs of fine meal, knead it, and make cakes.”

Auch (und) zu den Rindern lief Abraham, und nahm ein Rind, zart (jung) und gut, und gab es {zu} dem Diener, der es eilig zubereitete.

Y corrió Abraham á las vacas, y tomó un becerro tierno y bueno, y diólo al mozo, y dióse éste priesa á aderezarlo.

And Abraham ran unto the herd, and fetcht a calf tender and good, and gave it unto a young man; and he hasted to dress it.

Abraham ran to the herd, and fetched a tender and good calf, and gave it to the servant. He hurried to dress it.

Und er nahm Dickmilch (Butter, Rahm), Milch und das Rind, das er hatte zubereitet lassen, und setzte †es ihnen vor; er aber stand bei ihnen unter dem Baum, während sie aßen.

Tomó también manteca y leche, y el becerro que había aderezado, y púsolo delante de ellos; y él estaba junto á ellos debajo del árbol; y comieron.

And he took butter, and milk, and the calf which he had dressed, and set it before them; and he stood by them under the tree, and they did eat.

Und sie fragten ihn (sagten zu ihm): Wo †ist deine Frau Sara? {Und} er antwortete (sagte): Da (siehe), im Zelt.

Y le dijeron: ¿Dónde está Sara tu mujer? Y él respondió: Aquí en la tienda.

And they said unto him, Where is Sarah thy wife? And he said, Behold, in the tent.

They asked him, “Where is Sarah, your wife?” He said, “There, in the tent.”

{Und} er sagte: Ich werde auf jeden Fall zu dir zurückkehren im nächsten Jahr; und dann (siehe) †wird deine Frau Sara einen Sohn †haben. {Und} Sara hörte †am Eingang des Zeltes †zu, das hinter ihm war.

Entonces dijo: De cierto volveré á ti según el tiempo de la vida, y he aquí, tendrá un hijo Sara tu mujer. Y Sara escuchaba á la puerta de la tienda, que estaba detrás de él.

And he said, I will certainly return unto thee according to the time of life; and, lo, Sarah thy wife shall have a son. And Sarah heard it in the tent door, which was behind him.

He said, “I will certainly return to you at about this time next year; and behold, Sarah your wife will have a son.” Sarah heard in the tent door, which was behind him.

{Und} Abraham und Sara †waren alt, fortgeschritten in †ihren Tagen (hochbetagt); ein Leben wie das der Frauen hatte es für Sara nicht gegeben (gab es für Sara nicht mehr).

Y Abraham y Sara eran viejos, entrados en días: á Sara había cesado ya la costumbre de las mujeres.

Now Abraham and Sarah were old and well stricken in age; and it ceased to be with Sarah after the manner of women.

Now Abraham and Sarah were old, well advanced in age. Sarah had passed the age of childbearing.

Da lachte Sara in ihrem Inneren, indem sie dachte: Nachdem ich alt geworden bin, soll mir Lust werden?

Rióse, pues, Sara entre sí, diciendo: ¿Después que he envejecido tendré deleite, siendo también mi señor ya viejo?

Therefore Sarah laughed within herself, saying, After I am waxed old shall I have pleasure, my lord being old also?

Sarah laughed within herself, saying, “After I have grown old will I have pleasure, my lord being old also?”

Da sagte JHWH zu Abraham: Warum hat Sara denn gelacht, indem sie sagte: Werde (kann) ich denn wirklich †noch gebären, obwohl ich alt bin?

Entonces Jehová dijo á Abraham: ¿Por qué se ha reído Sara diciendo: Será cierto que he de parir siendo ya vieja?

And the LORD said unto Abraham, Wherefore did Sarah laugh, saying, Shall I of a surety bear a child, which am old?

The LORD said to Abraham, “Why did Sarah laugh, saying, ‘Will I really bear a child when I am old?’

Kann (wird, sollte) etwas unmöglich (wunderbar, rätselhaft, außergewöhnlich) sein für JHWH? Zur bestimmten (vereinbarten) Zeit werde ich zu dir zurückkehren im nächsten Jahr, dann wird Sara einen Sohn haben.

¿Hay para Dios alguna cosa difícil? Al tiempo señalado volveré á ti, según el tiempo de la vida, y Sara tendrá un hijo.

Is any thing too hard for the LORD? At the time appointed I will return unto thee, according to the time of life, and Sarah shall have a son.

Is anything too hard for the LORD? At the set time I will return to you, when the season comes around, and Sarah will have a son.”

Da leugnete (log) Sara, indem sie sagte: Ich habe nicht gelacht. Sie hatte nämlich Angst. {Und} er sagte: Doch, du hast gelacht.

Entonces Sara negó diciendo: No me reí; porque tuvo miedo. Y él dijo: No es así, sino que te has reído.

Then Sarah denied, saying, I laughed not; for she was afraid. And he said, Nay; but thou didst laugh.

Then Sarah denied it, saying, “I didn’t laugh,” for she was afraid. He said, “No, but you did laugh.”

Und die Männer erhoben sich von dort und schauten hinaus gen Sodom; Abraham ging aber mit ihnen um sie zu entlassen (begleiten).

Y los varones se levantaron de allí, y miraron hacia Sodoma: y Abraham iba con ellos acompañándolos.

And the men rose up from thence, and looked toward Sodom: and Abraham went with them to bring them on the way.

The men rose up from there, and looked toward Sodom. Abraham went with them to see them on their way.

Und JHWH †war es, der sagte (dachte): Bin ich einer, der vor Abraham verheimlicht, was ich zu tun gedenke?

Y Jehová dijo: ¿Encubriré yo á Abraham lo que voy á hacer,

And the LORD said, Shall I hide from Abraham that thing which I do;

The LORD said, “Will I hide from Abraham what I do,

Abraham wird doch auf jeden Fall zu einem großen und mächtigen (starken) Volk werden und Segen werden sich zuschreiben seinetwegen alle Völker der Erde.

Habiendo de ser Abraham en una nación grande y fuerte, y habiendo de ser benditas en él todas las gentes de la tierra?

Seeing that Abraham shall surely become a great and mighty nation, and all the nations of the earth shall be blessed in him?

since Abraham will surely become a great and mighty nation, and all the nations of the earth will be blessed in him?

Denn ich habe ihn erwählt (erkannt; kümmere mich um ihn; achte auf ihn), damit er seinen Kindern (Söhnen) und seinen Angehörigen (seinem Haus) nach ihm befiehlt, den Weg (die Handlungsweise, Lebensweise) JHWHs zu bewahren (hüten; beachten), indem sie gerecht (richtig, wahrhaftig, aufrichtig) und rechtmäßig (gebührend) handeln damit JHWH auf (über) Abraham kommen lässt (bringt), was er über ihn geredet hat (ihm versprochen hat).

Porque yo lo he conocido, sé que mandará á sus hijos y á su casa después de sí, que guarden el camino de Jehová, haciendo justicia y juicio, para que haga venir Jehová sobre Abraham lo que ha hablado acerca de él.

For I know him, that he will command his children and his household after him, and they shall keep the way of the LORD, to do justice and judgment; that the LORD may bring upon Abraham that which he hath spoken of him.

For I have known him, to the end that he may command his children and his household after him, that they may keep the way of the LORD, to do righteousness and justice; to the end that the LORD may bring on Abraham that which he has spoken of him.”

Da sagte JHWH: Das Klagegeschrei †über Sodom und Gomorra †ist in der Tat zahlreich und ihre Sünde ist in der Tat sehr schwer.

Entonces Jehová le dijo: Por cuanto el clamor de Sodoma y Gomorra se aumenta más y más, y el pecado de ellos se ha agravado en extremo,

And the LORD said, Because the cry of Sodom and Gomorrah is great, and because their sin is very grievous;

The LORD said, “Because the cry of Sodom and Gomorrah is great, and because their sin is very grievous,

Ich will herabsteigen und sehen, ob sie entsprechend dem Klagegeschrei über sie, das zu mir kommt, tun, sie alle; und wenn nicht, will ich es wissen.

Descenderé ahora, y veré si han consumado su obra según el clamor que ha venido hasta mí; y si no, saberlo he.

I will go down now, and see whether they have done altogether according to the cry of it, which is come unto me; and if not, I will know.

I will go down now, and see whether their deeds are as bad as the reports which have come to me. If not, I will know.”

Und die †zwei Männer wandten sich von dort um (ab, weg) und gingen †in Richtung Sodom; Abraham aber stand noch vor JHWH.

Y apartáronse de allí los varones, y fueron hacia Sodoma: mas Abraham estaba aún delante de Jehová.

And the men turned their faces from thence, and went toward Sodom: but Abraham stood yet before the LORD.

The men turned from there, and went toward Sodom, but Abraham stood yet before the LORD.

Da kam Abraham näher und fragte (sagte): Wirst du etwa den Gerechten mitsamt dem Ungerechten (Frevler, Gottlosen) dahinraffen?

Y acercóse Abraham y dijo: ¿Destruirás también al justo con el impío?

And Abraham drew near, and said, Wilt thou also destroy the righteous with the wicked?

Abraham came near, and said, “Will you consume the righteous with the wicked?

Vielleicht gibt es 50 Gerechte in{mitten} der Stadt; wirst du †sie etwa dahinraffen und dem Ort nicht um der 50 Gerechten willen, die in ihm †sind, vergeben?

Quizá hay cincuenta justos dentro de la ciudad: ¿destruirás también y no perdonarás al lugar por cincuenta justos que estén dentro de él?

Peradventure there be fifty righteous within the city: wilt thou also destroy and not spare the place for the fifty righteous that are therein?

What if there are fifty righteous within the city? Will you consume and not spare the place for the fifty righteous who are in it?

Abstand †sei dir von solchem Tun, einen Gerechten mitsamt einem Ungerechten zu töten! Dann wird {wie} der Gerechte wie der Ungerechte sein; Abstand †sei dir †davon! Wird der Richter der ganzen Erde nicht Recht tun?

Lejos de ti el hacer tal, que hagas morir al justo con el impío, y que sea el justo tratado como el impío; nunca tal hagas. El juez de toda la tierra, ¿no ha de hacer lo que es justo?

That be far from thee to do after this manner, to slay the righteous with the wicked: and that the righteous should be as the wicked, that be far from thee: Shall not the Judge of all the earth do right?

May it be far from you to do things like that, to kill the righteous with the wicked, so that the righteous should be like the wicked. May that be far from you. Shouldn’t the Judge of all the earth do right?”

Da sagte JHWH: Wenn ich in Sodom 50 Gerechte inmitten der Stadt finde, dann werde ich dem ganzen Ort um ihretwillen vergeben.

Entonces respondió Jehová: Si hallare en Sodoma cincuenta justos dentro de la ciudad, perdonaré á todo este lugar por amor de ellos.

And the LORD said, If I find in Sodom fifty righteous within the city, then I will spare all the place for their sakes.

The LORD said, “If I find in Sodom fifty righteous within the city, then I will spare the whole place for their sake.”

Darauf hob (antwortete) Abraham an und sagte: Sieh doch, ich habe begonnen (in Angriff genommen, mich entschlossen) zum Herrn zu reden, obwohl ich Erdenstaub †bin.

Y Abraham replicó y dijo: He aquí ahora que he comenzado á hablar á mi Señor, aunque soy polvo y ceniza:

And Abraham answered and said, Behold now, I have taken upon me to speak unto the Lord, which am but dust and ashes:

Abraham answered, “See now, I have taken it on myself to speak to the Lord, although I am dust and ashes.

Vielleicht werden †an den fünfzig Gerechten fünf fehlen. Wirst du †dann wegen fünf †Menschen die ganze Stadt vernichten? {Und} er antwortete (sagte): Ich werde †sie nicht vernichten, wenn ich dort 45 †Gerechte finde.

Quizá faltarán de cincuenta justos cinco: ¿destruirás por aquellos cinco toda la ciudad? Y dijo: No la destruiré, si hallare allí cuarenta y cinco.

Peradventure there shall lack five of the fifty righteous: wilt thou destroy all the city for lack of five? And he said, If I find there forty and five, I will not destroy it.

What if there will lack five of the fifty righteous? Will you destroy all the city for lack of five?” He said, “I will not destroy it if I find forty-five there.”

Und er fuhr weiterhin fort zu ihm zu reden und sagte: Vielleicht werden dort †nur vierzig gefunden. {Und} er antwortete (sagte): Ich werde †es nicht tun um der Vierzig willen.

Y volvió á hablarle, y dijo: Quizá se hallarán allí cuarenta. Y respondió: No lo haré por amor de los cuarenta.

And he spake unto him yet again, and said, Peradventure there shall be forty found there. And he said, I will not do it for forty’s sake.

He spoke to him yet again, and said, “What if there are forty found there?” He said, “I will not do it for the forty’s sake.”

Da sagte †Abraham: Der Herr zürne bitte nicht, wenn (dass) ich †wieder rede. Vielleicht werden dort †nur 30 †Gerechte gefunden. {Und} er antwortete (sagte): Ich werde es nicht tun, wenn ich dort †nur 30 finde.

Y dijo: No se enoje ahora mi Señor, si hablare: quizá se hallarán allí treinta. Y respondió: No lo haré si hallare allí treinta.

And he said unto him, Oh let not the Lord be angry, and I will speak: Peradventure there shall thirty be found there. And he said, I will not do it, if I find thirty there.

He said, “Oh don’t let the Lord be angry, and I will speak. What if there are thirty found there?” He said, “I will not do it if I find thirty there.”

Da sagte †Abraham: Sieh doch, ich habe begonnen (in Angriff genommen, mich entschlossen) zum Herrn zu reden. Vielleicht werden dort †nur 20 †Gerechte gefunden. {Und} er antwortete (sagte): Ich werde †auch um der 20 †Gerechten willen †die Stadt nicht vernichten.

Y dijo: He aquí ahora que he emprendido el hablar á mi Señor: quizá se hallarán allí veinte. No la destruiré, respondió, por amor de los veinte.

And he said, Behold now, I have taken upon me to speak unto the Lord: Peradventure there shall be twenty found there. And he said, I will not destroy it for twenty’s sake.

He said, “See now, I have taken it on myself to speak to the Lord. What if there are twenty found there?” He said, “I will not destroy it for the twenty’s sake.”

Da sagte †Abraham: Der Herr zürne bitte nicht, wenn ich nur diesmal †noch rede. Vielleicht werden dort †nur zehn †Gerechte gefunden. {Und} er antwortete (sagte): Ich werde †auch um der zehn †Gerechten willen †die Stadt nicht vernichten.

Y volvió á decir: No se enoje ahora mi Señor, si hablare solamente una vez: quizá se hallarán allí diez. No la destruiré, respondió, por amor de los diez.

And he said, Oh let not the Lord be angry, and I will speak yet but this once: Peradventure ten shall be found there. And he said, I will not destroy it for ten’s sake.

He said, “Oh don’t let the Lord be angry, and I will speak just once more. What if ten are found there?” He said, “I will not destroy it for the ten’s sake.”

Und JHWH ging, als er alles zu Abraham geredet hattet; Abraham aber kehrte zu seinem †Wohn-Ort zurück.

Y fuése Jehová, luego que acabó de hablar á Abraham: y Abraham se volvió á su lugar.

And the LORD went his way, as soon as he had left communing with Abraham: and Abraham returned unto his place.

The LORD went his way as soon as he had finished communing with Abraham, and Abraham returned to his place.
