Génesis 18

E il Signore apparve ad Abramo nella valle di Mambre, mentr'ei sedeva all'ingresso del suo padiglione nel maggior caldo del giorno.

Y APARECIÓLE Jehová en el valle de Mamre, estando él sentado á la puerta de su tienda en el calor del día.

And the LORD appeared unto him in the plains of Mamre: and he sat in the tent door in the heat of the day;

The LORD appeared to him by the oaks of Mamre, as he sat in the tent door in the heat of the day.

E avendo egli alzati gli occhi, gli comparvero tre uomini, che gli stavano dappresso; e veduti che gli ebbe, corse loro incontro dall'ingresso del padiglione, e adorò fino a terra.

Y alzó sus ojos y miró, y he aquí tres varones que estaban junto á él: y cuando los vió, salió corriendo de la puerta de su tienda á recibirlos, é inclinóse hacia la tierra,

And he lift up his eyes and looked, and, lo, three men stood by him: and when he saw them, he ran to meet them from the tent door, and bowed himself toward the ground,

He lifted up his eyes and looked, and saw that three men stood near him. When he saw them, he ran to meet them from the tent door, and bowed himself to the earth,

E disse: Signore, se io ho trovato grazia dinanzi a te, non lasciar indietro il tuo servo:

Y dijo: Señor, si ahora he hallado gracia en tus ojos, ruégote que no pases de tu siervo.

And said, My Lord, if now I have found favour in thy sight, pass not away, I pray thee, from thy servant:

and said, “My lord, if now I have found favor in your sight, please don’t go away from your servant.

Ma io porterò un po' di acqua, e lavate i vostri piedi, e riposatevi sotto quest'albero.

Que se traiga ahora un poco de agua, y lavad vuestros pies; y recostaos debajo de un árbol,

Let a little water, I pray you, be fetched, and wash your feet, and rest yourselves under the tree:

Now let a little water be fetched, wash your feet, and rest yourselves under the tree.

E vi presenterò un pezzo di pane, affinché ristoriate le vostre forze, e poi ve n'anderete: imperocché per questo siete venuti verso il vostro servo. E quelli dissero: Fa', come hai detto.

Y traeré un bocado de pan, y sustentad vuestro corazón; después pasaréis: porque por eso habéis pasado cerca de vuestro siervo. Y ellos dijeron: Haz así como has dicho.

And I will fetch a morsel of bread, and comfort ye your hearts; after that ye shall pass on: for therefore are ye come to your servant. And they said, So do, as thou hast said.

I will get a piece of bread so you can refresh your heart. After that you may go your way, now that you have come to your servant.” They said, “Very well, do as you have said.”

Andò in fretta Abramo da Sara, e le disse: Fa' presto, impasta tre sati di fior di farina, e fanne delle schiacciate da cuocer sotto la cenere.

Entonces Abraham fué de priesa á la tienda á Sara, y le dijo: Toma presto tres medidas de flor de harina, amasa y haz panes cocidos debajo del rescoldo.

And Abraham hastened into the tent unto Sarah, and said, Make ready quickly three measures of fine meal, knead it, and make cakes upon the hearth.

Abraham hurried into the tent to Sarah, and said, “Quickly prepare three seahs of fine meal, knead it, and make cakes.”

Ed egli corse all'armento, e ne tolse un vitello il più tenero, e grasso, e lo diede ad un servo, il quale ben tosto lo ebbe cotto.

Y corrió Abraham á las vacas, y tomó un becerro tierno y bueno, y diólo al mozo, y dióse éste priesa á aderezarlo.

And Abraham ran unto the herd, and fetcht a calf tender and good, and gave it unto a young man; and he hasted to dress it.

Abraham ran to the herd, and fetched a tender and good calf, and gave it to the servant. He hurried to dress it.

Prese anche del burro, e del latte, e il vitello cotto, e ne imbandì loro la mensa: ed egli se ne stava in piè presso di loro sotto l'albero.

Tomó también manteca y leche, y el becerro que había aderezado, y púsolo delante de ellos; y él estaba junto á ellos debajo del árbol; y comieron.

And he took butter, and milk, and the calf which he had dressed, and set it before them; and he stood by them under the tree, and they did eat.

E quelli mangiato che ebbero, dissero a lui: Dov'è Sara tua moglie? Egli rispose: Ella è qui nel padiglione.

Y le dijeron: ¿Dónde está Sara tu mujer? Y él respondió: Aquí en la tienda.

And they said unto him, Where is Sarah thy wife? And he said, Behold, in the tent.

They asked him, “Where is Sarah, your wife?” He said, “There, in the tent.”

E a lui disse (uno di quelli): Tornerò nuovamente a te di questa stagione, vivendo tu; e Sara tua moglie avrà un figliuolo. La qual cosa avendo udita Sara di dentro alla porta del padiglione, rise.

Entonces dijo: De cierto volveré á ti según el tiempo de la vida, y he aquí, tendrá un hijo Sara tu mujer. Y Sara escuchaba á la puerta de la tienda, que estaba detrás de él.

And he said, I will certainly return unto thee according to the time of life; and, lo, Sarah thy wife shall have a son. And Sarah heard it in the tent door, which was behind him.

He said, “I will certainly return to you at about this time next year; and behold, Sarah your wife will have a son.” Sarah heard in the tent door, which was behind him.

Imperocché ambedue erano vecchi, e d'età avanzata, e Sara non aveva più i corsi ordinarii delle donne.

Y Abraham y Sara eran viejos, entrados en días: á Sara había cesado ya la costumbre de las mujeres.

Now Abraham and Sarah were old and well stricken in age; and it ceased to be with Sarah after the manner of women.

Now Abraham and Sarah were old, well advanced in age. Sarah had passed the age of childbearing.

Or ella rise in suo segreto dicendo: Dopo che io sono vecchia, e il mio signore è cadente, ridiverrò io giovinetta?

Rióse, pues, Sara entre sí, diciendo: ¿Después que he envejecido tendré deleite, siendo también mi señor ya viejo?

Therefore Sarah laughed within herself, saying, After I am waxed old shall I have pleasure, my lord being old also?

Sarah laughed within herself, saying, “After I have grown old will I have pleasure, my lord being old also?”

Ma il Signore disse ad Abramo: Perché mai ha riso Sara, dicendo: Son io per partorire da vecchia?

Entonces Jehová dijo á Abraham: ¿Por qué se ha reído Sara diciendo: Será cierto que he de parir siendo ya vieja?

And the LORD said unto Abraham, Wherefore did Sarah laugh, saying, Shall I of a surety bear a child, which am old?

The LORD said to Abraham, “Why did Sarah laugh, saying, ‘Will I really bear a child when I am old?’

V'ha egli cosa difficile a Dio? Tornerò a te secondo la promessa fatta in questa stagione, vivendo tu, e Sara avrà un figliuolo.

¿Hay para Dios alguna cosa difícil? Al tiempo señalado volveré á ti, según el tiempo de la vida, y Sara tendrá un hijo.

Is any thing too hard for the LORD? At the time appointed I will return unto thee, according to the time of life, and Sarah shall have a son.

Is anything too hard for the LORD? At the set time I will return to you, when the season comes around, and Sarah will have a son.”

Negò Sara, e piena di paura disse: Non ho riso. Ma il Signore: Non è così, disse: perocché tu hai riso.

Entonces Sara negó diciendo: No me reí; porque tuvo miedo. Y él dijo: No es así, sino que te has reído.

Then Sarah denied, saying, I laughed not; for she was afraid. And he said, Nay; but thou didst laugh.

Then Sarah denied it, saying, “I didn’t laugh,” for she was afraid. He said, “No, but you did laugh.”

Essendosi adunque alzati da quel luogo quegli uomini, volsero gli sguardi verso Sodoma: e Abramo andava con loro, accommiatandoli.

Y los varones se levantaron de allí, y miraron hacia Sodoma: y Abraham iba con ellos acompañándolos.

And the men rose up from thence, and looked toward Sodom: and Abraham went with them to bring them on the way.

The men rose up from there, and looked toward Sodom. Abraham went with them to see them on their way.

E il Signore disse: Potrò io tener nascosto ad Abramo quel che sono per fare?

Y Jehová dijo: ¿Encubriré yo á Abraham lo que voy á hacer,

And the LORD said, Shall I hide from Abraham that thing which I do;

The LORD said, “Will I hide from Abraham what I do,

Mentr'egli debbe esser capo di una nazione grande, e fortissima, e dovendo in lui avere BENEDIZIONE tutte le nazioni della terra?

Habiendo de ser Abraham en una nación grande y fuerte, y habiendo de ser benditas en él todas las gentes de la tierra?

Seeing that Abraham shall surely become a great and mighty nation, and all the nations of the earth shall be blessed in him?

since Abraham will surely become a great and mighty nation, and all the nations of the earth will be blessed in him?

Imperocché io so, che egli ordinerà a' suoi figliuoli, e dopo di sé alla sua famiglia, che seguano le vie del Signore, e osservino la rettitudine e la giustizia; affinché il Signore ponga ad effetto tutto quello che ha detto a lui.

Porque yo lo he conocido, sé que mandará á sus hijos y á su casa después de sí, que guarden el camino de Jehová, haciendo justicia y juicio, para que haga venir Jehová sobre Abraham lo que ha hablado acerca de él.

For I know him, that he will command his children and his household after him, and they shall keep the way of the LORD, to do justice and judgment; that the LORD may bring upon Abraham that which he hath spoken of him.

For I have known him, to the end that he may command his children and his household after him, that they may keep the way of the LORD, to do righteousness and justice; to the end that the LORD may bring on Abraham that which he has spoken of him.”

Disse adunque il Signore: Il grido di Sodoma e di Gomorrha è cresciuto, e i loro peccati si sono aggravati formisura.

Entonces Jehová le dijo: Por cuanto el clamor de Sodoma y Gomorra se aumenta más y más, y el pecado de ellos se ha agravado en extremo,

And the LORD said, Because the cry of Sodom and Gomorrah is great, and because their sin is very grievous;

The LORD said, “Because the cry of Sodom and Gomorrah is great, and because their sin is very grievous,

Andrò, e vedrò, se le opere loro agguaglino il grido, che ne è giunto fino a me: o, se così non è, per saperlo.

Descenderé ahora, y veré si han consumado su obra según el clamor que ha venido hasta mí; y si no, saberlo he.

I will go down now, and see whether they have done altogether according to the cry of it, which is come unto me; and if not, I will know.

I will go down now, and see whether their deeds are as bad as the reports which have come to me. If not, I will know.”

E si partiron di là, e s'incamminarono a Sodoma: ma Abramo stava tuttora dinanzi al Signore.

Y apartáronse de allí los varones, y fueron hacia Sodoma: mas Abraham estaba aún delante de Jehová.

And the men turned their faces from thence, and went toward Sodom: but Abraham stood yet before the LORD.

The men turned from there, and went toward Sodom, but Abraham stood yet before the LORD.

E avvicinandosi disse: Manderai tu in perdizione il giusto insieme coll'empio?

Y acercóse Abraham y dijo: ¿Destruirás también al justo con el impío?

And Abraham drew near, and said, Wilt thou also destroy the righteous with the wicked?

Abraham came near, and said, “Will you consume the righteous with the wicked?

Se vi saranno cinquanta giusti in quella città; periranno eglino insieme? e non perdonerai tu a quel luogo per amor di cinquanta giusti, quando vi siano?

Quizá hay cincuenta justos dentro de la ciudad: ¿destruirás también y no perdonarás al lugar por cincuenta justos que estén dentro de él?

Peradventure there be fifty righteous within the city: wilt thou also destroy and not spare the place for the fifty righteous that are therein?

What if there are fifty righteous within the city? Will you consume and not spare the place for the fifty righteous who are in it?

Lungi da te il fare tal cosa, e che tu uccida il giusto coll'empio, e il giusto vada del pari coll'empio: questa cosa non è da te; tu che giudichi tutta la terra non farai simil giudizio.

Lejos de ti el hacer tal, que hagas morir al justo con el impío, y que sea el justo tratado como el impío; nunca tal hagas. El juez de toda la tierra, ¿no ha de hacer lo que es justo?

That be far from thee to do after this manner, to slay the righteous with the wicked: and that the righteous should be as the wicked, that be far from thee: Shall not the Judge of all the earth do right?

May it be far from you to do things like that, to kill the righteous with the wicked, so that the righteous should be like the wicked. May that be far from you. Shouldn’t the Judge of all the earth do right?”

E il Signore dissegli: Se io troverò in mezzo alla città di Sodoma cinquanta giusti, io perdonerò a tutto il luogo per amore di essi.

Entonces respondió Jehová: Si hallare en Sodoma cincuenta justos dentro de la ciudad, perdonaré á todo este lugar por amor de ellos.

And the LORD said, If I find in Sodom fifty righteous within the city, then I will spare all the place for their sakes.

The LORD said, “If I find in Sodom fifty righteous within the city, then I will spare the whole place for their sake.”

E Abramo rispose, e disse: Dacché ho cominciato una volta, parlerò al Signore mio, benché io sia polvere, e cenere.

Y Abraham replicó y dijo: He aquí ahora que he comenzado á hablar á mi Señor, aunque soy polvo y ceniza:

And Abraham answered and said, Behold now, I have taken upon me to speak unto the Lord, which am but dust and ashes:

Abraham answered, “See now, I have taken it on myself to speak to the Lord, although I am dust and ashes.

E se vi saranno cinque giusti meno di cinquanta, distruggerai tu la città, perché sono solamente quarantacinque? E quegli disse: Non la distruggerò, se ve ne troverò quarantacinque.

Quizá faltarán de cincuenta justos cinco: ¿destruirás por aquellos cinco toda la ciudad? Y dijo: No la destruiré, si hallare allí cuarenta y cinco.

Peradventure there shall lack five of the fifty righteous: wilt thou destroy all the city for lack of five? And he said, If I find there forty and five, I will not destroy it.

What if there will lack five of the fifty righteous? Will you destroy all the city for lack of five?” He said, “I will not destroy it if I find forty-five there.”

E Abramo ripigliò, e disse a lui: E se quaranta vi si troveranno, che farai tu? Quegli disse: Non gastigherò per amor de' quaranta.

Y volvió á hablarle, y dijo: Quizá se hallarán allí cuarenta. Y respondió: No lo haré por amor de los cuarenta.

And he spake unto him yet again, and said, Peradventure there shall be forty found there. And he said, I will not do it for forty’s sake.

He spoke to him yet again, and said, “What if there are forty found there?” He said, “I will not do it for the forty’s sake.”

Non adirarti, disse, o Signore, del mio parlare. Che sarà egli quando vi se ne trovino trenta? Rispose: Non farò altro, se ve ne troverò trenta.

Y dijo: No se enoje ahora mi Señor, si hablare: quizá se hallarán allí treinta. Y respondió: No lo haré si hallare allí treinta.

And he said unto him, Oh let not the Lord be angry, and I will speak: Peradventure there shall thirty be found there. And he said, I will not do it, if I find thirty there.

He said, “Oh don’t let the Lord be angry, and I will speak. What if there are thirty found there?” He said, “I will not do it if I find thirty there.”

Dacché una volta ho principiato, disse egli, parlerò al mio Signore. E se ve ne fosser trovati una ventina? Rispose: Per amor de' venti non manderò lo sterminio.

Y dijo: He aquí ahora que he emprendido el hablar á mi Señor: quizá se hallarán allí veinte. No la destruiré, respondió, por amor de los veinte.

And he said, Behold now, I have taken upon me to speak unto the Lord: Peradventure there shall be twenty found there. And he said, I will not destroy it for twenty’s sake.

He said, “See now, I have taken it on myself to speak to the Lord. What if there are twenty found there?” He said, “I will not destroy it for the twenty’s sake.”

Di grazia, diss'egli, non adirarti, o Signore, se io dirò ancora una parola. E se dieci colà si trovassero? E quegli disse: Per amore de' dieci non la distruggerò.

Y volvió á decir: No se enoje ahora mi Señor, si hablare solamente una vez: quizá se hallarán allí diez. No la destruiré, respondió, por amor de los diez.

And he said, Oh let not the Lord be angry, and I will speak yet but this once: Peradventure ten shall be found there. And he said, I will not destroy it for ten’s sake.

He said, “Oh don’t let the Lord be angry, and I will speak just once more. What if ten are found there?” He said, “I will not destroy it for the ten’s sake.”

E andossene il Signore quando Abramo finì di parlare; ed egli tornossene a casa sua. Lot avendo accolti in sua casa gli Angeli è maltrattato da Sodomiti: e liberato colla moglie, e colle due figliuole dall'incendiodi Sodoma, e perde per istrada la moglie. Ubbriacato comette incesto coll'una, e e coll’altra figlivola, d'onde nacquero i Moabiti, e gli Ammoniti.

Y fuése Jehová, luego que acabó de hablar á Abraham: y Abraham se volvió á su lugar.

And the LORD went his way, as soon as he had left communing with Abraham: and Abraham returned unto his place.

The LORD went his way as soon as he had finished communing with Abraham, and Abraham returned to his place.
