And he lift up his eyes and looked, and, lo, three men stood by him: and when he saw them, he ran to meet them from the tent door, and bowed himself toward the ground,

und sprach: HERR, habe ich Gnade funden vor deinen Augen, so gehe nicht vor deinem Knechte über.
Y dijo: Señor, si ahora he hallado gracia en tus ojos, ruégote que no pases de tu siervo.
And said, My Lord, if now I have found favour in thy sight, pass not away, I pray thee, from thy servant:
and said, “My lord, if now I have found favor in your sight, please don’t go away from your servant.
Man soll euch ein wenig Wassers bringen und eure Füße waschen; und lehnet euch unter den Baum.
Que se traiga ahora un poco de agua, y lavad vuestros pies; y recostaos debajo de un árbol,
Let a little water, I pray you, be fetched, and wash your feet, and rest yourselves under the tree:

Und ich will euch einen Bissen Brots bringen, daß ihr euer Herz labet; danach sollt ihr fortgehen. Denn darum seid ihr zu eurem Knechte kommen. Sie sprachen: Tue, wie du gesagt hast.
Y traeré un bocado de pan, y sustentad vuestro corazón; después pasaréis: porque por eso habéis pasado cerca de vuestro siervo. Y ellos dijeron: Haz así como has dicho.
And I will fetch a morsel of bread, and comfort ye your hearts; after that ye shall pass on: for therefore are ye come to your servant. And they said, So do, as thou hast said.
I will get a piece of bread so you can refresh your heart. After that you may go your way, now that you have come to your servant.” They said, “Very well, do as you have said.”
Abraham eilete in die Hütte zu Sara und sprach: Eile und menge drei Maß Semmelmehl, knete und backe Kuchen.
Entonces Abraham fué de priesa á la tienda á Sara, y le dijo: Toma presto tres medidas de flor de harina, amasa y haz panes cocidos debajo del rescoldo.
And Abraham hastened into the tent unto Sarah, and said, Make ready quickly three measures of fine meal, knead it, and make cakes upon the hearth.
Abraham hurried into the tent to Sarah, and said, “Quickly prepare three seahs of fine meal, knead it, and make cakes.”
Er aber lief zu den Rindern und holete ein zart gut Kalb und gab's dem Knaben; der eilete und bereitete es zu
Y corrió Abraham á las vacas, y tomó un becerro tierno y bueno, y diólo al mozo, y dióse éste priesa á aderezarlo.
And Abraham ran unto the herd, and fetcht a calf tender and good, and gave it unto a young man; and he hasted to dress it.

Und er trug auf Butter und Milch und von dem Kalbe, das er zubereitet hatte, und setzte es ihnen vor und trat vor sie unter dem Baum, und sie aßen.

And he took butter, and milk, and the calf which he had dressed, and set it before them; and he stood by them under the tree, and they did eat.

Da sprachen sie zu ihm: Wo ist dein Weib Sara? Er antwortete: Drinnen in der Hütte.
Y le dijeron: ¿Dónde está Sara tu mujer? Y él respondió: Aquí en la tienda.
And they said unto him, Where is Sarah thy wife? And he said, Behold, in the tent.
They asked him, “Where is Sarah, your wife?” He said, “There, in the tent.”
Da sprach er: Ich will wieder zu dir kommen, so ich lebe, siehe, so soll Sara, dein Weib, einen Sohn haben. Das hörete Sara hinter ihm, hinter der Tür der Hütte.
Entonces dijo: De cierto volveré á ti según el tiempo de la vida, y he aquí, tendrá un hijo Sara tu mujer. Y Sara escuchaba á la puerta de la tienda, que estaba detrás de él.
And he said, I will certainly return unto thee according to the time of life; and, lo, Sarah thy wife shall have a son. And Sarah heard it in the tent door, which was behind him.
He said, “I will certainly return to you at about this time next year; and behold, Sarah your wife will have a son.” Sarah heard in the tent door, which was behind him.
Und sie waren beide, Abraham und Sara, alt und wohl betagt, also daß es Sara nicht mehr ging nach der Weiber Weise.
Y Abraham y Sara eran viejos, entrados en días: á Sara había cesado ya la costumbre de las mujeres.
Now Abraham and Sarah were old and well stricken in age; and it ceased to be with Sarah after the manner of women.
Now Abraham and Sarah were old, well advanced in age. Sarah had passed the age of childbearing.
Darum lachte sie bei sich selbst und sprach: Nun ich alt bin, soll ich noch Wollust pflegen, und mein HERR auch alt ist!
Rióse, pues, Sara entre sí, diciendo: ¿Después que he envejecido tendré deleite, siendo también mi señor ya viejo?
Therefore Sarah laughed within herself, saying, After I am waxed old shall I have pleasure, my lord being old also?
Sarah laughed within herself, saying, “After I have grown old will I have pleasure, my lord being old also?”
Da sprach der HERR zu Abraham: Warum lachet des Sara und spricht: Meinest du, daß wahr sei, daß ich noch gebären werde, so ich doch alt bin?
Entonces Jehová dijo á Abraham: ¿Por qué se ha reído Sara diciendo: Será cierto que he de parir siendo ya vieja?
And the LORD said unto Abraham, Wherefore did Sarah laugh, saying, Shall I of a surety bear a child, which am old?
The LORD said to Abraham, “Why did Sarah laugh, saying, ‘Will I really bear a child when I am old?’
Sollte dem HERRN etwas unmöglich sein? Um diese Zeit will ich wieder zu dir kommen, so ich lebe, so soll Sara einen Sohn haben.
¿Hay para Dios alguna cosa difícil? Al tiempo señalado volveré á ti, según el tiempo de la vida, y Sara tendrá un hijo.
Is any thing too hard for the LORD? At the time appointed I will return unto thee, according to the time of life, and Sarah shall have a son.
Is anything too hard for the LORD? At the set time I will return to you, when the season comes around, and Sarah will have a son.”
Da leugnete Sara und sprach: Ich habe nicht gelacht; denn sie fürchtete sich. Aber er sprach: Es ist nicht also, du hast gelacht.
Entonces Sara negó diciendo: No me reí; porque tuvo miedo. Y él dijo: No es así, sino que te has reído.
Then Sarah denied, saying, I laughed not; for she was afraid. And he said, Nay; but thou didst laugh.
Then Sarah denied it, saying, “I didn’t laugh,” for she was afraid. He said, “No, but you did laugh.”
Da stunden die Männer auf von dannen und wandten sich gegen Sodom; und Abraham ging mit ihnen, daß er sie geleitete.
Y los varones se levantaron de allí, y miraron hacia Sodoma: y Abraham iba con ellos acompañándolos.
And the men rose up from thence, and looked toward Sodom: and Abraham went with them to bring them on the way.

Da sprach der HERR: Wie kann ich Abraham verbergen, was ich tue,
Y Jehová dijo: ¿Encubriré yo á Abraham lo que voy á hacer,
And the LORD said, Shall I hide from Abraham that thing which I do;
The LORD said, “Will I hide from Abraham what I do,
sintemal er ein groß und mächtiges Volk soll werden, und alle Völker auf Erden in ihm gesegnet werden sollen?
Habiendo de ser Abraham en una nación grande y fuerte, y habiendo de ser benditas en él todas las gentes de la tierra?
Seeing that Abraham shall surely become a great and mighty nation, and all the nations of the earth shall be blessed in him?
since Abraham will surely become a great and mighty nation, and all the nations of the earth will be blessed in him?
Denn ich weiß, er wird befehlen seinen Kindern und seinem Hause nach ihm, daß sie des HERRN Wege halten und tun, was recht und gut ist; auf daß der HERR auf Abraham kommen lasse, was er ihm verheißen hat.
Porque yo lo he conocido, sé que mandará á sus hijos y á su casa después de sí, que guarden el camino de Jehová, haciendo justicia y juicio, para que haga venir Jehová sobre Abraham lo que ha hablado acerca de él.
For I know him, that he will command his children and his household after him, and they shall keep the way of the LORD, to do justice and judgment; that the LORD may bring upon Abraham that which he hath spoken of him.
For I have known him, to the end that he may command his children and his household after him, that they may keep the way of the LORD, to do righteousness and justice; to the end that the LORD may bring on Abraham that which he has spoken of him.”
Und der HERR sprach: Es ist ein Geschrei zu Sodom und Gomorrha, das ist groß, und ihre Sünden sind fast schwer.
Entonces Jehová le dijo: Por cuanto el clamor de Sodoma y Gomorra se aumenta más y más, y el pecado de ellos se ha agravado en extremo,
And the LORD said, Because the cry of Sodom and Gomorrah is great, and because their sin is very grievous;
The LORD said, “Because the cry of Sodom and Gomorrah is great, and because their sin is very grievous,
Darum will ich hinabfahren und sehen, ob sie alles getan haben nach dem Geschrei, das vor mich kommen ist; oder ob's nicht also sei, daß ich's wisse.
Descenderé ahora, y veré si han consumado su obra según el clamor que ha venido hasta mí; y si no, saberlo he.
I will go down now, and see whether they have done altogether according to the cry of it, which is come unto me; and if not, I will know.

Und die Männer wandten ihr Angesicht und gingen gen Sodom; aber Abraham blieb stehen vor dem HERRN
Y apartáronse de allí los varones, y fueron hacia Sodoma: mas Abraham estaba aún delante de Jehová.
And the men turned their faces from thence, and went toward Sodom: but Abraham stood yet before the LORD.
The men turned from there, and went toward Sodom, but Abraham stood yet before the LORD.
und trat zu ihm und sprach: Willst du denn den Gerechten mit dem Gottlosen umbringen?
Y acercóse Abraham y dijo: ¿Destruirás también al justo con el impío?
And Abraham drew near, and said, Wilt thou also destroy the righteous with the wicked?
Abraham came near, and said, “Will you consume the righteous with the wicked?
Es möchten vielleicht fünfzig Gerechte in der Stadt sein; wolltest du die umbringen und dem Ort nicht vergeben um fünfzig Gerechter willen, die drinnen wären?
Quizá hay cincuenta justos dentro de la ciudad: ¿destruirás también y no perdonarás al lugar por cincuenta justos que estén dentro de él?
Peradventure there be fifty righteous within the city: wilt thou also destroy and not spare the place for the fifty righteous that are therein?
What if there are fifty righteous within the city? Will you consume and not spare the place for the fifty righteous who are in it?
Das sei ferne von dir, daß du das tust und tötest den Gerechten mit dem Gottlosen, daß der Gerechte sei gleich wie der Gottlose; das sei ferne von dir, der du aller Welt Richter bist! Du wirst so nicht richten.
Lejos de ti el hacer tal, que hagas morir al justo con el impío, y que sea el justo tratado como el impío; nunca tal hagas. El juez de toda la tierra, ¿no ha de hacer lo que es justo?
That be far from thee to do after this manner, to slay the righteous with the wicked: and that the righteous should be as the wicked, that be far from thee: Shall not the Judge of all the earth do right?
May it be far from you to do things like that, to kill the righteous with the wicked, so that the righteous should be like the wicked. May that be far from you. Shouldn’t the Judge of all the earth do right?”
Der HERR sprach: Finde ich fünfzig Gerechte zu Sodom in der Stadt, so will ich um ihretwillen all den Orten vergeben.
Entonces respondió Jehová: Si hallare en Sodoma cincuenta justos dentro de la ciudad, perdonaré á todo este lugar por amor de ellos.
And the LORD said, If I find in Sodom fifty righteous within the city, then I will spare all the place for their sakes.
The LORD said, “If I find in Sodom fifty righteous within the city, then I will spare the whole place for their sake.”
Abraham antwortete und sprach: Ach siehe, ich habe mich unterwunden zu reden mit dem HERRN, wiewohl ich Erde und Asche bin.
Y Abraham replicó y dijo: He aquí ahora que he comenzado á hablar á mi Señor, aunque soy polvo y ceniza:
And Abraham answered and said, Behold now, I have taken upon me to speak unto the Lord, which am but dust and ashes:
Abraham answered, “See now, I have taken it on myself to speak to the Lord, although I am dust and ashes.
Es möchten vielleicht fünf weniger denn fünfzig Gerechte drinnen sein; wolltest du denn die ganze Stadt verderben um der fünfe willen? Er sprach: Finde ich drinnen fünfundvierzig, will ich sie nicht verderben.
Quizá faltarán de cincuenta justos cinco: ¿destruirás por aquellos cinco toda la ciudad? Y dijo: No la destruiré, si hallare allí cuarenta y cinco.
Peradventure there shall lack five of the fifty righteous: wilt thou destroy all the city for lack of five? And he said, If I find there forty and five, I will not destroy it.
What if there will lack five of the fifty righteous? Will you destroy all the city for lack of five?” He said, “I will not destroy it if I find forty-five there.”
Und er fuhr weiter mit ihm zu reden, und sprach: Man möchte vielleicht vierzig drinnen finden. Er aber sprach: Ich will ihnen nichts tun um der vierzig willen.
Y volvió á hablarle, y dijo: Quizá se hallarán allí cuarenta. Y respondió: No lo haré por amor de los cuarenta.
And he spake unto him yet again, and said, Peradventure there shall be forty found there. And he said, I will not do it for forty’s sake.
He spoke to him yet again, and said, “What if there are forty found there?” He said, “I will not do it for the forty’s sake.”
Abraham sprach: Zürne nicht, HERR, daß ich noch mehr rede. Man möchte vielleicht dreißig drinnen finden. Er aber sprach: Finde ich dreißig drinnen, so will ich ihnen nichts tun.
Y dijo: No se enoje ahora mi Señor, si hablare: quizá se hallarán allí treinta. Y respondió: No lo haré si hallare allí treinta.
And he said unto him, Oh let not the Lord be angry, and I will speak: Peradventure there shall thirty be found there. And he said, I will not do it, if I find thirty there.
He said, “Oh don’t let the Lord be angry, and I will speak. What if there are thirty found there?” He said, “I will not do it if I find thirty there.”
Und er sprach: Ach siehe, ich habe mich unterwunden, mit dem HERRN zu reden. Man möchte vielleicht zwanzig drinnen finden. Er antwortete: Ich will sie nicht verderben um der zwanzig willen.
Y dijo: He aquí ahora que he emprendido el hablar á mi Señor: quizá se hallarán allí veinte. No la destruiré, respondió, por amor de los veinte.
And he said, Behold now, I have taken upon me to speak unto the Lord: Peradventure there shall be twenty found there. And he said, I will not destroy it for twenty’s sake.
He said, “See now, I have taken it on myself to speak to the Lord. What if there are twenty found there?” He said, “I will not destroy it for the twenty’s sake.”
Und er sprach: Ach zürne nicht, HERR, daß ich nur noch einmal rede. Man möchte vielleicht zehn drinnen finden. Er aber sprach: Ich will sie nicht verderben um der zehn willen.
Y volvió á decir: No se enoje ahora mi Señor, si hablare solamente una vez: quizá se hallarán allí diez. No la destruiré, respondió, por amor de los diez.
And he said, Oh let not the Lord be angry, and I will speak yet but this once: Peradventure ten shall be found there. And he said, I will not destroy it for ten’s sake.
He said, “Oh don’t let the Lord be angry, and I will speak just once more. What if ten are found there?” He said, “I will not destroy it for the ten’s sake.”
Und der HERR ging hin, da er mit Abraham ausgeredet hatte; und Abraham kehrte wieder hin an seinen Ort.
Y fuése Jehová, luego que acabó de hablar á Abraham: y Abraham se volvió á su lugar.
And the LORD went his way, as soon as he had left communing with Abraham: and Abraham returned unto his place.
The LORD went his way as soon as he had finished communing with Abraham, and Abraham returned to his place.
