Génesis 18

And he spake vnto him yet agayne and sayde: what yf there be .xl. foude there: And he sayde: I wyll not do it for forties sake.

Y volvió á hablarle, y dijo: Quizá se hallarán allí cuarenta. Y respondió: No lo haré por amor de los cuarenta.

And he spake unto him yet again, and said, Peradventure there shall be forty found there. And he said, I will not do it for forty’s sake.

He spoke to him yet again, and said, “What if there are forty found there?” He said, “I will not do it for the forty’s sake.”
