Génesis 18

Und er fuhr weiter mit ihm zu reden, und sprach: Man mochte vielleicht vierzig drinnen finden. Er aber sprach: Ich will ihnen nichts tun urn der vierzig willen.

Y volvió á hablarle, y dijo: Quizá se hallarán allí cuarenta. Y respondió: No lo haré por amor de los cuarenta.

And he spake unto him yet again, and said, Peradventure there shall be forty found there. And he said, I will not do it for forty’s sake.

He spoke to him yet again, and said, “What if there are forty found there?” He said, “I will not do it for the forty’s sake.”
