Mas después que hubo entrado en los noventa y nueve años, le apareció el Señor, y le dijo: Yo soy el Dios todopoderoso: camina como siervo fiel delante de mí, y sé perfecto.
Y SIENDO Abram de edad de noventa y nueve años, aparecióle Jehová, y le dijo: Yo soy el Dios Todopoderoso; anda delante de mí, y sé perfecto.
And when Abram was ninety years old and nine, the LORD appeared to Abram, and said unto him, I am the Almighty God; walk before me, and be thou perfect.
When Abram was ninety-nine years old, the LORD appeared to Abram and said to him, “I am God Almighty. Walk before me and be blameless.
Y yo confirmaré mi alianza entre mí y entre ti, y te multiplicaré más y más en gran manera.
Y pondré mi pacto entre mí y ti, y multiplicarte he mucho en gran manera.
And I will make my covenant between me and thee, and will multiply thee exceedingly.
I will make my covenant between me and you, and will multiply you exceedingly.”
Se postró Abram sobre su rostro.
Entonces Abram cayó sobre su rostro, y Dios habló con él diciendo:
And Abram fell on his face: and God talked with him, saying,

Y le dijo Dios: Yo soy, y mi pacto será contigo, y vendrás a ser padre de muchas naciones.
Yo, he aquí mi pacto contigo: Serás padre de muchedumbre de gentes:
As for me, behold, my covenant is with thee, and thou shalt be a father of many nations.
“As for me, behold, my covenant is with you. You will be the father of a multitude of nations.
Ni de hoy más será tu nombre Abram: sino que serás llamado Abrahán: porque te tengo destinado por padre de muchas naciones.
Y no se llamará más tu nombre Abram, sino que será tu nombre Abraham, porque te he puesto por padre de muchedumbre de gentes.
Neither shall thy name any more be called Abram, but thy name shall be Abraham; for a father of many nations have I made thee.
Your name will no more be called Abram, but your name will be Abraham; for I have made you the father of a multitude of nations.
Yo te haré crecer hasta lo sumo, y te constituiré cabeza o estirpe de muchos pueblos, y reyes descenderán de ti.
Y multiplicarte he mucho en gran manera, y te pondré en gentes, y reyes saldrán de ti.
And I will make thee exceeding fruitful, and I will make nations of thee, and kings shall come out of thee.
I will make you exceedingly fruitful, and I will make nations of you. Kings will come out of you.
Y estableceré mi pacto entre mí y entre ti, y entre tu posteridad después de ti en la serie de sus generaciones, con alianza sempiterna; para ser yo el Dios tuyo, y de la posteridad después de ti.
Y estableceré mi pacto entre mí y ti, y tu simiente después de ti en sus generaciones, por alianza perpetua, para serte á ti por Dios, y á tu simiente después de ti.
And I will establish my covenant between me and thee and thy seed after thee in their generations for an everlasting covenant, to be a God unto thee, and to thy seed after thee.
I will establish my covenant between me and you and your offspring after you throughout their generations for an everlasting covenant, to be a God to you and to your offspring after you.
A este fin te daré a ti y a tus descendientes la tierra en que estás ahora como peregrino, toda la tierra de Canaán en posesión perpetua y seré el Dios de ellos.
Y te daré á ti, y á tu simiente después de ti, la tierra de tus peregrinaciones, toda la tierra de Canaán en heredad perpetua; y seré el Dios de ellos.
And I will give unto thee, and to thy seed after thee, the land wherein thou art a stranger, all the land of Canaan, for an everlasting possession; and I will be their God.

Dijo de nuevo Dios a Abrahán: Tú, pues, también has de guardar mi pacto, y después de ti tu posteridad en sus generaciones.

And God said unto Abraham, Thou shalt keep my covenant therefore, thou, and thy seed after thee in their generations.

Este es el pacto mío que habéis de observar entre mí y vosotros, así tú como tu descendencia después de ti. Todo varón entre vosotros será circuncidado:
Este será mi pacto, que guardaréis entre mí y vosotros y tu simiente después de ti: Será circuncidado todo varón de entre vosotros.
This is my covenant, which ye shall keep, between me and you and thy seed after thee; Every man child among you shall be circumcised.

Circuncidaréis vuestra carne, en señal de la alianza contraída entre mí y vosotros.

Y estará mi pacto señalado vuestra carne para denotar la alianza eterna que hago con vosotros.

He that is born in thy house, and he that is bought with thy money, must needs be circumcised: and my covenant shall be in your flesh for an everlasting covenant.

Dijo también Dios a Abrahán: A Sarai tu mujer ya no la llamarás Sarai, sino Sara.
Dijo también Dios á Abraham: A Sarai tu mujer no la llamarás Sarai, mas Sara será su nombre.
And God said unto Abraham, As for Sarai thy wife, thou shalt not call her name Sarai, but Sarah shall her name be.
God said to Abraham, “As for Sarai your wife, you shall not call her name Sarai, but her name shall be Sarah.
Yo le daré mi bendición, y te daré de ella un hijo a quien he de bendecir también y será origen de muchas naciones, y descenderán de él reyes de varios pueblos.
Y bendecirla he, y también te daré de ella hijo; sí, la bendeciré, y vendrá á ser madre de naciones; reyes de pueblos serán de ella.
And I will bless her, and give thee a son also of her: yea, I will bless her, and she shall be a mother of nations; kings of people shall be of her.
I will bless her, and moreover I will give you a son by her. Yes, I will bless her, and she will be a mother of nations. Kings of peoples will come from her.”
Abrahán se postró sobre su rostro, y se sonrió, diciendo en su corazón: ¿Conque a un viejo de cien años le nacerá un hijo?; ¿y Sara de noventa ha de parir?
Entonces Abraham cayó sobre su rostro, y rióse, y dijo en su corazón: ¿A hombre de cien años ha de nacer hijo? ¿y Sara, ya de noventa años, ha de parir?
Then Abraham fell upon his face, and laughed, and said in his heart, Shall a child be born unto him that is an hundred years old? and shall Sarah, that is ninety years old, bear?
Then Abraham fell on his face, and laughed, and said in his heart, “Will a child be born to him who is one hundred years old? Will Sarah, who is ninety years old, give birth?”
Y dijo a Dios: ¡Ojalá que Ismael viva delante de ti!
Y dijo Abraham á Dios: Ojalá Ismael viva delante de ti.
And Abraham said unto God, O that Ishmael might live before thee!
Abraham said to God, “Oh that Ishmael might live before you!”
Y Dios respondió a Abrahán: Sí por cierto: Sara te ha de parir un hijo, y le pondrás por nombre Isaac, y con él confirmaré mi pacto en alianza sempiterna, y con su descendencia después de él.
Y respondió Dios: Ciertamente Sara tu mujer te parirá un hijo, y llamarás su nombre Isaac; y confirmaré mi pacto con él por alianza perpetua para su simiente después de él.
And God said, Sarah thy wife shall bear thee a son indeed; and thou shalt call his name Isaac: and I will establish my covenant with him for an everlasting covenant, and with his seed after him.
God said, “No, but Sarah, your wife, will bear you a son. You shall call his name Isaac. I will establish my covenant with him for an everlasting covenant for his offspring after him.
He otorgado también tu petición sobre Ismael: he aquí que le bendeciré, y le haré una descendencia muy grande y muy numerosa: será padre de doce caudillos o príncipes, y le haré jefe de una nación grande.
Y en cuanto á Ismael, también te he oído: he aquí que le bendeciré, y le haré fructificar y multiplicar mucho en gran manera: doce príncipes engendrará, y ponerlo he por gran gente.
And as for Ishmael, I have heard thee: Behold, I have blessed him, and will make him fruitful, and will multiply him exceedingly; twelve princes shall he beget, and I will make him a great nation.
As for Ishmael, I have heard you. Behold, I have blessed him, and will make him fruitful, and will multiply him exceedingly. He will become the father of twelve princes, and I will make him a great nation.
Pero el pacto mío lo estableceré con Isaac, que Sara te parirá por este tiempo el año que viene.
Mas yo estableceré mi pacto con Isaac, al cual te parirá Sara por este tiempo el año siguiente.
But my covenant will I establish with Isaac, which Sarah shall bear unto thee at this set time in the next year.
But I will establish my covenant with Isaac, whom Sarah will bear to you at this set time next year.”
Acabado este razonamiento con él, se retiró Dios de la vista de Abrahán.
Y acabó de hablar con él, y subió Dios de con Abraham.
And he left off talking with him, and God went up from Abraham.
When he finished talking with him, God went up from Abraham.
Entonces Abrahán tomó a Ismael su hijo, y a todos los siervos o criados nacidos en su casa, y a todos los que había comprado, a todos cuantos varones había en su familia; y los circuncidó luego al punto en aquel mismo día, como se lo había mandado Dios.

In the selfsame day was Abraham circumcised, and Ishmael his son.

Y todos los varones de su casa, tanto los nacidos en ella, como los comprados y los de tierra extraña, fueron igualmente circuncidados.
