Quando Abrão tinha noventa e nove anos, Yahweh apareceu a Abrão e lhe falou: "Eu sou O Deus Onipotente. Anda na Minha presença e sê perfeito.
Y SIENDO Abram de edad de noventa y nueve años, aparecióle Jehová, y le dijo: Yo soy el Dios Todopoderoso; anda delante de mí, y sé perfecto.
And when Abram was ninety years old and nine, the LORD appeared to Abram, and said unto him, I am the Almighty God; walk before me, and be thou perfect.

Então, Eu confirmarei Minha aliança contigo e te multiplicarei grandemente".

And I will make my covenant between me and thee, and will multiply thee exceedingly.

Abrão prostou-se com o rosto em terra e Deus falou-lhe, dizendo:
Entonces Abram cayó sobre su rostro, y Dios habló con él diciendo:
And Abram fell on his face: and God talked with him, saying,

"Quanto a Mim, esta é a Aliança que faço contigo: Tu serás pai de muitas nações.
Yo, he aquí mi pacto contigo: Serás padre de muchedumbre de gentes:
As for me, behold, my covenant is with thee, and thou shalt be a father of many nations.
“As for me, behold, my covenant is with you. You will be the father of a multitude of nations.
Não mais te chamarás Abrão, mas teu nome será Abraão — porque te constituí para ser pai de uma multidão de nações.
Y no se llamará más tu nombre Abram, sino que será tu nombre Abraham, porque te he puesto por padre de muchedumbre de gentes.
Neither shall thy name any more be called Abram, but thy name shall be Abraham; for a father of many nations have I made thee.
Your name will no more be called Abram, but your name will be Abraham; for I have made you the father of a multitude of nations.
Farei que sejas extraordinariamente fecundo, de ti farei nações e reis descenderão de ti.
Y multiplicarte he mucho en gran manera, y te pondré en gentes, y reyes saldrán de ti.
And I will make thee exceeding fruitful, and I will make nations of thee, and kings shall come out of thee.
I will make you exceedingly fruitful, and I will make nations of you. Kings will come out of you.
Estabelecerei Minha aliança entre Mim e ti e com a tua descendência, a qual perdurará através de todas as gerações como aliança eterna, para que Eu seja o teu Deus e O de toda a tua descendência.
Y estableceré mi pacto entre mí y ti, y tu simiente después de ti en sus generaciones, por alianza perpetua, para serte á ti por Dios, y á tu simiente después de ti.
And I will establish my covenant between me and thee and thy seed after thee in their generations for an everlasting covenant, to be a God unto thee, and to thy seed after thee.
I will establish my covenant between me and you and your offspring after you throughout their generations for an everlasting covenant, to be a God to you and to your offspring after you.
A ti e a tua descendência darei a terra onde tu tens peregrinado, toda a terra de Canaã como uma posse eterna e Eu serei vosso Deus".
Y te daré á ti, y á tu simiente después de ti, la tierra de tus peregrinaciones, toda la tierra de Canaán en heredad perpetua; y seré el Dios de ellos.
And I will give unto thee, and to thy seed after thee, the land wherein thou art a stranger, all the land of Canaan, for an everlasting possession; and I will be their God.

Ainda disse Deus a Abraão: "Quanto a ti, guarda Minha aliança, tu e a tua descendência por todas as gerações vindouras.
Dijo de nuevo Dios á Abraham: Tú empero guardarás mi pacto, tú y tu simiente después de ti por sus generaciones.
And God said unto Abraham, Thou shalt keep my covenant therefore, thou, and thy seed after thee in their generations.
God said to Abraham, “As for you, you shall keep my covenant, you and your offspring after you throughout their generations.
Esta é a Minha aliança, a qual tens que manter entre Mim e ti e a tua descendência: Todo homem dentre vós deve ser circuncidado.
Este será mi pacto, que guardaréis entre mí y vosotros y tu simiente después de ti: Será circuncidado todo varón de entre vosotros.
This is my covenant, which ye shall keep, between me and you and thy seed after thee; Every man child among you shall be circumcised.

Circuncidarás a carne do vosso prepúcio e este será o sinal da aliança entre Mim e vós.

Deus disse a Abraão: "Quanto a Sarai, tua mulher, não a chame mais de Sarai. Em vez disso, seu nome será Sara.
Dijo también Dios á Abraham: A Sarai tu mujer no la llamarás Sarai, mas Sara será su nombre.
And God said unto Abraham, As for Sarai thy wife, thou shalt not call her name Sarai, but Sarah shall her name be.
God said to Abraham, “As for Sarai your wife, you shall not call her name Sarai, but her name shall be Sarah.
Eu a abençoarei e te darei um filho por meio dela. Eu a abençoarei e ela se tornará a mãe de nações. Reis de povos virão por meio dela".
Y bendecirla he, y también te daré de ella hijo; sí, la bendeciré, y vendrá á ser madre de naciones; reyes de pueblos serán de ella.
And I will bless her, and give thee a son also of her: yea, I will bless her, and she shall be a mother of nations; kings of people shall be of her.
I will bless her, and moreover I will give you a son by her. Yes, I will bless her, and she will be a mother of nations. Kings of peoples will come from her.”
Então, Abraão se prostrou com o rosto em terra, riu e disse em seu coração: "Pode uma criança nascer de um homem de cem anos? Como pode Sara, que tem noventa anos gerar um filho?".
Entonces Abraham cayó sobre su rostro, y rióse, y dijo en su corazón: ¿A hombre de cien años ha de nacer hijo? ¿y Sara, ya de noventa años, ha de parir?
Then Abraham fell upon his face, and laughed, and said in his heart, Shall a child be born unto him that is an hundred years old? and shall Sarah, that is ninety years old, bear?
Then Abraham fell on his face, and laughed, and said in his heart, “Will a child be born to him who is one hundred years old? Will Sarah, who is ninety years old, give birth?”
Abraão disse para Deus: "Que Ismael viva diante de ti!".
Y dijo Abraham á Dios: Ojalá Ismael viva delante de ti.
And Abraham said unto God, O that Ishmael might live before thee!
Abraham said to God, “Oh that Ishmael might live before you!”
Disse Deus: "Não, porém Sara, tua mulher, te dará um filho, e tu o chamarás Isaque. Estabelecerei Minha aliança com ele, como aliança perpétua e com a sua descendência.
Y respondió Dios: Ciertamente Sara tu mujer te parirá un hijo, y llamarás su nombre Isaac; y confirmaré mi pacto con él por alianza perpetua para su simiente después de él.
And God said, Sarah thy wife shall bear thee a son indeed; and thou shalt call his name Isaac: and I will establish my covenant with him for an everlasting covenant, and with his seed after him.
God said, “No, but Sarah, your wife, will bear you a son. You shall call his name Isaac. I will establish my covenant with him for an everlasting covenant for his offspring after him.
Quanto a Ismael, Eu tenho te escutado. Eis que Eu o abençoarei, farei ele fecundo e o multiplicarei abundantemente. Ele será pai de doze líderes de tribos, e Eu farei dele uma grande nação.
Y en cuanto á Ismael, también te he oído: he aquí que le bendeciré, y le haré fructificar y multiplicar mucho en gran manera: doce príncipes engendrará, y ponerlo he por gran gente.
And as for Ishmael, I have heard thee: Behold, I have blessed him, and will make him fruitful, and will multiply him exceedingly; twelve princes shall he beget, and I will make him a great nation.
As for Ishmael, I have heard you. Behold, I have blessed him, and will make him fruitful, and will multiply him exceedingly. He will become the father of twelve princes, and I will make him a great nation.
Porém Minha aliança estabelecerei com Isaque, aquele o qual Sara dará a ti nesta mesma época do próximo ano".
Mas yo estableceré mi pacto con Isaac, al cual te parirá Sara por este tiempo el año siguiente.
But my covenant will I establish with Isaac, which Sarah shall bear unto thee at this set time in the next year.
But I will establish my covenant with Isaac, whom Sarah will bear to you at this set time next year.”
Quando terminou de falar com ele, Deus retirou-se da presença de Abraão.
Y acabó de hablar con él, y subió Dios de con Abraham.
And he left off talking with him, and God went up from Abraham.

Então, Abraão tomou seu filho Ismael e todos aqueles que nasceram em sua casa, todo homem entre os homens da casa de Abraão e os circuncidou na carne do prepúcio no mesmo dia, como Deus lhe havia dito.
Entonces tomó Abraham á Ismael su hijo, y á todos los siervos nacidos en su casa, y á todos los comprados por su dinero, á todo varón entre los domésticos de la casa de Abraham, y circuncidó la carne del prepucio de ellos en aquel mismo día, como Dios le había dicho.
