As for me, behold, my covenant is with thee, and thou shalt be a father of many nations.
“As for me, behold, my covenant is with you. You will be the father of a multitude of nations.
Et tu ne t'appelleras plus Abram, mais ton nom sera Abraham, parce que je t'ai fait le père de beaucoup de nations.
Y no se llamará más tu nombre Abram, sino que será tu nombre Abraham, porque te he puesto por padre de muchedumbre de gentes.
Neither shall thy name any more be called Abram, but thy name shall be Abraham; for a father of many nations have I made thee.
Your name will no more be called Abram, but your name will be Abraham; for I have made you the father of a multitude of nations.
Et je t'augmenterai beaucoup, beaucoup ; je te constituerai père de plusieurs peuples, des rois proviendront de toi.
Y multiplicarte he mucho en gran manera, y te pondré en gentes, y reyes saldrán de ti.
And I will make thee exceeding fruitful, and I will make nations of thee, and kings shall come out of thee.

And God said unto Abraham, As for Sarai thy wife, thou shalt not call her name Sarai, but Sarah shall her name be.

Abraham tomba la face contre terre ; il rit, et il se dit en lui-même au fond du cœur : Un fils naîtra-t-il de moi dans ma centième année ? Sarra à quatre-vingt-dix-neuf ans, enfantera-t-elle ?
Entonces Abraham cayó sobre su rostro, y rióse, y dijo en su corazón: ¿A hombre de cien años ha de nacer hijo? ¿y Sara, ya de noventa años, ha de parir?
Then Abraham fell upon his face, and laughed, and said in his heart, Shall a child be born unto him that is an hundred years old? and shall Sarah, that is ninety years old, bear?

Et Abraham dit à Dieu : Que mon Ismaël vive devant vous !

And Abraham said unto God, O that Ishmael might live before thee!

Mais Dieu lui repartit : Oui, voici que Sarra ta femme t'enfantera un fils que tu appelleras Isaac, et j'établirai mon alliance avec lui, alliance éternelle, par laquelle je serai son Dieu, et le Dieu de sa race après lui.
Y respondió Dios: Ciertamente Sara tu mujer te parirá un hijo, y llamarás su nombre Isaac; y confirmaré mi pacto con él por alianza perpetua para su simiente después de él.
And God said, Sarah thy wife shall bear thee a son indeed; and thou shalt call his name Isaac: and I will establish my covenant with him for an everlasting covenant, and with his seed after him.
God said, “No, but Sarah, your wife, will bear you a son. You shall call his name Isaac. I will establish my covenant with him for an everlasting covenant for his offspring after him.
Par rapport à Ismaël, je t'ai aussi exaucé : je l'ai béni ; je l'augmenterai, et je le multiplierai beaucoup. Il engendrera douze nations, et je le ferai père d'un grand peuple.
Y en cuanto á Ismael, también te he oído: he aquí que le bendeciré, y le haré fructificar y multiplicar mucho en gran manera: doce príncipes engendrará, y ponerlo he por gran gente.
And as for Ishmael, I have heard thee: Behold, I have blessed him, and will make him fruitful, and will multiply him exceedingly; twelve princes shall he beget, and I will make him a great nation.

Entonces tomó Abraham á Ismael su hijo, y á todos los siervos nacidos en su casa, y á todos los comprados por su dinero, á todo varón entre los domésticos de la casa de Abraham, y circuncidó la carne del prepucio de ellos en aquel mismo día, como Dios le había dicho.
