E disse Dio ad Abramo: Sara tua moglie ti partorirà un figliuolo, e gli porrai nome Isaac; e fermerò con lui il mio patto per un'alleanza sempiterna, e col seme di lui dopo di esso.
Y respondió Dios: Ciertamente Sara tu mujer te parirá un hijo, y llamarás su nombre Isaac; y confirmaré mi pacto con él por alianza perpetua para su simiente después de él.
And God said, Sarah thy wife shall bear thee a son indeed; and thou shalt call his name Isaac: and I will establish my covenant with him for an everlasting covenant, and with his seed after him.
God said, “No, but Sarah, your wife, will bear you a son. You shall call his name Isaac. I will establish my covenant with him for an everlasting covenant for his offspring after him.
