Und Sarai, Abrams Weib, gebar ihm nicht. Sie hatte aber eine ägyptische Dienstmagd und ihr Name war Hagar.

Y SARAI, mujer de Abram, no le paría: y ella tenía una sierva egipcia, que se llamaba Agar.

Now Sarai Abram’s wife bare him no children: and she had an handmaid, an Egyptian, whose name was Hagar.

Now Sarai, Abram’s wife, bore him no children. She had a servant, an Egyptian, whose name was Hagar.

Und Sarai sprach zu Abram: Siehe doch, Jehovah hat mich vom Gebären zurückgehalten; so gehe doch ein zu meiner Dienstmagd, vielleicht werde ich durch sie aufgebaut. Und Abram hörte auf Sarais Stimme.

Dijo, pues, Sarai á Abram: Ya ves que Jehová me ha hecho estéril: ruégote que entres á mi sierva; quizá tendré hijos de ella. Y atendió Abram al dicho de Sarai.

And Sarai said unto Abram, Behold now, the LORD hath restrained me from bearing: I pray thee, go in unto my maid; it may be that I may obtain children by her. And Abram hearkened to the voice of Sarai.

Sarai said to Abram, “See now, the LORD has restrained me from bearing. Please go in to my servant. It may be that I will obtain children by her.” Abram listened to the voice of Sarai.

Und Sarai, Abrams Weib, nachdem zehn Jahre zu Ende waren, seit Abram im Lande Kanaan wohnte, nahm die Ägypterin Hagar, ihre Dienstmagd, und gab sie ihrem Manne Abram ihm zum Weibe.

Y Sarai, mujer de Abram, tomó á Agar su sierva egipcia, al cabo de diez años que había habitado Abram en la tierra de Canaán, y dióla á Abram su marido por mujer.

And Sarai Abram’s wife took Hagar her maid the Egyptian, after Abram had dwelt ten years in the land of Canaan, and gave her to her husband Abram to be his wife.

Sarai, Abram’s wife, took Hagar the Egyptian, her servant, after Abram had lived ten years in the land of Canaan, and gave her to Abram her husband to be his wife.

Und er ging ein zu Hagar und sie empfing; und da sie sah, daß sie empfangen hatte, ward ihre Gebieterin gering in ihren Augen.

Y él cohabitó con Agar, la cual concibió: y cuando vió que había concebido, miraba con desprecio á su señora.

And he went in unto Hagar, and she conceived: and when she saw that she had conceived, her mistress was despised in her eyes.

He went in to Hagar, and she conceived. When she saw that she had conceived, her mistress was despised in her eyes.

Und Sarai sprach zu Abram: Mein Unrecht sei auf dir! Ich gab dir meine Dienstmagd an deinen Busen. Und sie sieht, daß sie empfangen hat, und ich werde gering in ihren Augen. Jehovah richte zwischen mir und dir!

Entonces Sarai dijo á Abram: Mi afrenta sea sobre ti: yo puse mi sierva en tu seno, y viéndose embarazada, me mira con desprecio; juzgue Jehová entre mí y ti.

And Sarai said unto Abram, My wrong be upon thee: I have given my maid into thy bosom; and when she saw that she had conceived, I was despised in her eyes: the LORD judge between me and thee.

Sarai said to Abram, “This wrong is your fault. I gave my servant into your bosom, and when she saw that she had conceived, she despised me. May the LORD judge between me and you.”

Abram aber sprach zu Sarai: Siehe, deine Dienstmagd ist in deiner Hand, tue ihr, was gut in deinen Augen ist. Und Sarai demütigte sie, und sie floh vor ihrem Angesicht.

Y respondió Abram á Sarai: He ahí tu sierva en tu mano, haz con ella lo que bien te pareciere. Y como Sarai la afligiese, huyóse de su presencia.

But Abram said unto Sarai, Behold, thy maid is in thy hand; do to her as it pleaseth thee. And when Sarai dealt hardly with her, she fled from her face.

But Abram said to Sarai, “Behold, your maid is in your hand. Do to her whatever is good in your eyes.” Sarai dealt harshly with her, and she fled from her face.

Und der Engel Jehovahs fand sie in der Wüste an einer Wasserquelle; an der Quelle am Wege nach Schur.

Y hallóla el ángel de Jehová junto á una fuente de agua en el desierto, junto á la fuente que está en el camino del Sur.

And the angel of the LORD found her by a fountain of water in the wilderness, by the fountain in the way to Shur.

The LORD’s angel found her by a fountain of water in the wilderness, by the fountain on the way to Shur.

Und Er sprach: Hagar, Sarais Dienstmagd, woher kommst du und wohin gehst du? Und sie sprach: Vor meiner Gebieterin Sarai fliehe ich.

Y le dijo: Agar, sierva de Sarai, ¿de dónde vienes tú, y á dónde vas? Y ella respondió: Huyo de delante de Sarai, mi señora.

And he said, Hagar, Sarai’s maid, whence camest thou? and whither wilt thou go? And she said, I flee from the face of my mistress Sarai.

He said, “Hagar, Sarai’s servant, where did you come from? Where are you going?” She said, “I am fleeing from the face of my mistress Sarai.”

Und Jehovahs Engel sprach zu ihr: Kehre zurück zu deiner Gebieterin und demütige dich unter ihre Hände.

Y díjole el ángel de Jehová: Vuélvete á tu señora, y ponte sumisa bajo de su mano.

And the angel of the LORD said unto her, Return to thy mistress, and submit thyself under her hands.

The LORD’s angel said to her, “Return to your mistress, and submit yourself under her hands.”

Und der Engel Jehovahs sprach zu ihr: Mehren will Ich deinen Samen und er wird vor Menge nicht gezählt werden.

Díjole también el ángel de Jehová: Multiplicaré tanto tu linaje, que no será contado á causa de la muchedumbre.

And the angel of the LORD said unto her, I will multiply thy seed exceedingly, that it shall not be numbered for multitude.

The LORD’s angel said to her, “I will greatly multiply your offspring, that they will not be counted for multitude.”

Und der Engel Jehovahs sprach zu ihr: Siehe, du hast empfangen und gebierst einen Sohn, und sollst seinen Namen Ismael nennen, darum, daß Jehovah auf dein Elend gehört hat.

Díjole aún el ángel de Jehová: He aquí que has concebido, y parirás un hijo, y llamarás su nombre Ismael, porque oído ha Jehová tu aflicción.

And the angel of the LORD said unto her, Behold, thou art with child, and shalt bear a son, and shalt call his name Ishmael; because the LORD hath heard thy affliction.

The LORD’s angel said to her, “Behold, you are with child, and will bear a son. You shall call his name Ishmael, because the LORD has heard your affliction.

Und er wird ein Waldesel-Mensch sein, seine Hand wider alle, und die Hand aller wider ihn; und wird wohnen wider aller seiner Brüder Angesicht.

Y él será hombre fiero; su mano contra todos, y las manos de todos contra él, y delante de todos sus hermanos habitará.

And he will be a wild man; his hand will be against every man, and every man’s hand against him; and he shall dwell in the presence of all his brethren.

He will be like a wild donkey among men. His hand will be against every man, and every man’s hand against him. He will live opposed to all of his brothers.”

Und sie nannte den Namen Jehovahs, Der mit ihr redete: Du bist der Gott, Der mich siehet; denn sie sprach: Hab ich auch hier gesehen, nach Dem, Der mich gesehen?

Entonces llamó el nombre de Jehová que con ella hablaba: Tú eres el Dios de la vista; porque dijo: ¿No he visto también aquí al que me ve?

And she called the name of the LORD that spake unto her, Thou God seest me: for she said, Have I also here looked after him that seeth me?

She called the name of the LORD who spoke to her, “You are a God who sees,” for she said, “Have I even stayed alive after seeing him?”

Daher nannte man den Brunnen: Brunnen Lachai Roi. Siehe, er ist zwischen Kadesch und zwischen Bared.

Por lo cual llamó al pozo, Pozo del Viviente que me ve. He aquí está entre Cades y Bered.

Wherefore the well was called Beer-lahai-roi; behold, it is between Kadesh and Bered.

Therefore the well was called Beer Lahai Roi. Behold, it is between Kadesh and Bered.

Und Hagar gebar dem Abram einen Sohn, und Abram nannte den Namen seines Sohnes, den Hagar geboren, Ismael.

Y parió Agar á Abram un hijo, y llamó Abram el nombre de su hijo que le parió Agar, Ismael.

And Hagar bare Abram a son: and Abram called his son’s name, which Hagar bare, Ishmael.

Hagar bore a son for Abram. Abram called the name of his son, whom Hagar bore, Ishmael.

Und Abram war achtzig Jahre und sechs Jahre alt, da Hagar den Ismael dem Abram gebar.

Y era Abram de edad de ochenta y seis años, cuando parió Agar á Ismael.

And Abram was fourscore and six years old, when Hagar bare Ishmael to Abram.

Abram was eighty-six years old when Hagar bore Ishmael to Abram.
