Génesis 16

Ma Sarai, moglie di Abramo, non aveva fatto figliuoli: ma avendo una schiava egiziana per nome Agar,

Y SARAI, mujer de Abram, no le paría: y ella tenía una sierva egipcia, que se llamaba Agar.

Now Sarai Abram’s wife bare him no children: and she had an handmaid, an Egyptian, whose name was Hagar.

Now Sarai, Abram’s wife, bore him no children. She had a servant, an Egyptian, whose name was Hagar.

Disse a suo marito: Ecco che il Signore mi ha fatto sterile, perché io non partorisca: sposa la mia schiava, se a sorte di lei almeno avessi figliuoli. Ed essendosi egli prestato alle preghiere di lei,

Dijo, pues, Sarai á Abram: Ya ves que Jehová me ha hecho estéril: ruégote que entres á mi sierva; quizá tendré hijos de ella. Y atendió Abram al dicho de Sarai.

And Sarai said unto Abram, Behold now, the LORD hath restrained me from bearing: I pray thee, go in unto my maid; it may be that I may obtain children by her. And Abram hearkened to the voice of Sarai.

Sarai said to Abram, “See now, the LORD has restrained me from bearing. Please go in to my servant. It may be that I will obtain children by her.” Abram listened to the voice of Sarai.

Ella prese Agar egiziana, sua schiava, passati dieci anni, dacché avean principiato ad abitare nella terra di Chanaan: e la diede al marito suo per moglie.

Y Sarai, mujer de Abram, tomó á Agar su sierva egipcia, al cabo de diez años que había habitado Abram en la tierra de Canaán, y dióla á Abram su marido por mujer.

And Sarai Abram’s wife took Hagar her maid the Egyptian, after Abram had dwelt ten years in the land of Canaan, and gave her to her husband Abram to be his wife.

Sarai, Abram’s wife, took Hagar the Egyptian, her servant, after Abram had lived ten years in the land of Canaan, and gave her to Abram her husband to be his wife.

Ed egli coabitava con essa. Ma ella vedendo, che avea concepito, prese a farsi beffe della padrona.

Y él cohabitó con Agar, la cual concibió: y cuando vió que había concebido, miraba con desprecio á su señora.

And he went in unto Hagar, and she conceived: and when she saw that she had conceived, her mistress was despised in her eyes.

He went in to Hagar, and she conceived. When she saw that she had conceived, her mistress was despised in her eyes.

E Sarai disse ad Abramo: Tu mi fai ingiustizia: io ti ho data la mia schiava per tua consorte; ed ella vedendo, che ha concepito, mi beffa: il Signore sia giudice tra me, e te;

Entonces Sarai dijo á Abram: Mi afrenta sea sobre ti: yo puse mi sierva en tu seno, y viéndose embarazada, me mira con desprecio; juzgue Jehová entre mí y ti.

And Sarai said unto Abram, My wrong be upon thee: I have given my maid into thy bosom; and when she saw that she had conceived, I was despised in her eyes: the LORD judge between me and thee.

Sarai said to Abram, “This wrong is your fault. I gave my servant into your bosom, and when she saw that she had conceived, she despised me. May the LORD judge between me and you.”

Rispose Abramo: Ecco che la tua schiava è in tuo potere: fa' con lei, come meglio ti piace. Siccome adunque Sarai la gastigava, ella se ne fuggi.

Y respondió Abram á Sarai: He ahí tu sierva en tu mano, haz con ella lo que bien te pareciere. Y como Sarai la afligiese, huyóse de su presencia.

But Abram said unto Sarai, Behold, thy maid is in thy hand; do to her as it pleaseth thee. And when Sarai dealt hardly with her, she fled from her face.

But Abram said to Sarai, “Behold, your maid is in your hand. Do to her whatever is good in your eyes.” Sarai dealt harshly with her, and she fled from her face.

E l'Angelo del Signore avendola trovata in luogo solitario presso una fontana di acqua, che è nella strada di Sur nel deserto,

Y hallóla el ángel de Jehová junto á una fuente de agua en el desierto, junto á la fuente que está en el camino del Sur.

And the angel of the LORD found her by a fountain of water in the wilderness, by the fountain in the way to Shur.

The LORD’s angel found her by a fountain of water in the wilderness, by the fountain on the way to Shur.

Le disse: Agar serva di Sarai, donde vieni, e dove vai tu? Ed ella rispose: Io fuggo dagli occhi di Sarai mia padrona.

Y le dijo: Agar, sierva de Sarai, ¿de dónde vienes tú, y á dónde vas? Y ella respondió: Huyo de delante de Sarai, mi señora.

And he said, Hagar, Sarai’s maid, whence camest thou? and whither wilt thou go? And she said, I flee from the face of my mistress Sarai.

He said, “Hagar, Sarai’s servant, where did you come from? Where are you going?” She said, “I am fleeing from the face of my mistress Sarai.”

E l'Angelo del Signore le disse: Torna alla tua padrona, e umiliati sotto la mano di lei.

Y díjole el ángel de Jehová: Vuélvete á tu señora, y ponte sumisa bajo de su mano.

And the angel of the LORD said unto her, Return to thy mistress, and submit thyself under her hands.

The LORD’s angel said to her, “Return to your mistress, and submit yourself under her hands.”

E soggiunse: Io moltiplicherò: grandemente la tua posterità, e non potrà numerarsi per la sua moltitudine.

Díjole también el ángel de Jehová: Multiplicaré tanto tu linaje, que no será contado á causa de la muchedumbre.

And the angel of the LORD said unto her, I will multiply thy seed exceedingly, that it shall not be numbered for multitude.

The LORD’s angel said to her, “I will greatly multiply your offspring, that they will not be counted for multitude.”

E dipoi: Ecco, disse, tu hai concepito, e partorirai un figliuolo, e gli porrai nome Ismaele, perché il Signore ti ha esaudita nella tua afflizione.

Díjole aún el ángel de Jehová: He aquí que has concebido, y parirás un hijo, y llamarás su nombre Ismael, porque oído ha Jehová tu aflicción.

And the angel of the LORD said unto her, Behold, thou art with child, and shalt bear a son, and shalt call his name Ishmael; because the LORD hath heard thy affliction.

The LORD’s angel said to her, “Behold, you are with child, and will bear a son. You shall call his name Ishmael, because the LORD has heard your affliction.

Egli sarà uom feroce: le mani di lui contro tutti, e le mani di tutti contro di lui: ei pianterà le tende sue dirimpetto a quelle di tutti i suoi fratelli.

Y él será hombre fiero; su mano contra todos, y las manos de todos contra él, y delante de todos sus hermanos habitará.

And he will be a wild man; his hand will be against every man, and every man’s hand against him; and he shall dwell in the presence of all his brethren.

He will be like a wild donkey among men. His hand will be against every man, and every man’s hand against him. He will live opposed to all of his brothers.”

Ed ella invocò il nome del Signore, che le parlava: Tu, Dio, che mi hai veduta. Imperocché ella disse: Certo che io ho veduto il tergo di lui, che mi ha veduta.

Entonces llamó el nombre de Jehová que con ella hablaba: Tú eres el Dios de la vista; porque dijo: ¿No he visto también aquí al que me ve?

And she called the name of the LORD that spake unto her, Thou God seest me: for she said, Have I also here looked after him that seeth me?

She called the name of the LORD who spoke to her, “You are a God who sees,” for she said, “Have I even stayed alive after seeing him?”

Per questo chiamò quel pozzo il pozzo di lui, che vive, e mi ha veduta. Egli è tra Cades, e Barad.

Por lo cual llamó al pozo, Pozo del Viviente que me ve. He aquí está entre Cades y Bered.

Wherefore the well was called Beer-lahai-roi; behold, it is between Kadesh and Bered.

Therefore the well was called Beer Lahai Roi. Behold, it is between Kadesh and Bered.

E Agar partori ad Abramo un figliuolo: il quale gli pose nome Ismaele.

Y parió Agar á Abram un hijo, y llamó Abram el nombre de su hijo que le parió Agar, Ismael.

And Hagar bare Abram a son: and Abram called his son’s name, which Hagar bare, Ishmael.

Hagar bore a son for Abram. Abram called the name of his son, whom Hagar bore, Ishmael.

Ottanta sei anni avea Abramo, quando Agar partorì a lui Ismaele. Le promesse son ripetute ad Abramo; e a lui, e a Sarai son cangiati i nomi. La Circoncisione è comandata come segno dell'alleanza. Promessa di un figliuolo di Sara. Prosperità a’ Ismaele. Abramo eseguisce il precetto della circoncisione.

Y era Abram de edad de ochenta y seis años, cuando parió Agar á Ismael.

And Abram was fourscore and six years old, when Hagar bare Ishmael to Abram.

Abram was eighty-six years old when Hagar bore Ishmael to Abram.
