Génesis 15

Après ces choses la parole de l'Éternel fut adressée à Abram dans la vision, en ces termes : Sois sans crainte, Abram. Je suis un bouclier pour toi, ta rémunération immense.

DESPUÉS de estas cosas fué la palabra de Jehová á Abram en visión, diciendo: No temas, Abram; yo soy tu escudo, y tu galardón sobremanera grande.

After these things the word of the LORD came unto Abram in a vision, saying, Fear not, Abram: I am thy shield, and thy exceeding great reward.

After these things the LORD’s word came to Abram in a vision, saying, “Don’t be afraid, Abram. I am your shield, your exceedingly great reward.”

Et Abram dit : Seigneur, Éternel, que me donneras-tu, tandis que je m'en vais sans enfants, et que l'héritier de ma maison est Eliézer de Damas ?

Y respondió Abram: Señor Jehová ¿qué me has de dar, siendo así que ando sin hijo, y el mayordomo de mi casa es ese Damasceno Eliezer?

And Abram said, Lord GOD, what wilt thou give me, seeing I go childless, and the steward of my house is this Eliezer of Damascus?

Abram said, “Lord GOD, what will you give me, since I go childless, and he who will inherit my estate is Eliezer of Damascus?”

Et Abram dit : Voici, tune m'as pas donné de postérité, et mon domestique recueillera ma succession.

Dijo más Abram: Mira que no me has dado prole, y he aquí que es mi heredero uno nacido en mi casa.

And Abram said, Behold, to me thou hast given no seed: and, lo, one born in my house is mine heir.

Abram said, “Behold, you have given no children to me: and, behold, one born in my house is my heir.”

Mais voilà que la parole de l'Éternel lui fut adressée en ces termes : Ce n'est pas lui qui recueillera ta succession, mais celui qui sortira de tes entrailles, c'est lui qui la recueillera.

Y luego la palabra de Jehová fué á él diciendo: No te heredará éste, sino el que saldrá de tus entrañas será el que te herede.

And, behold, the word of the LORD came unto him, saying, This shall not be thine heir; but he that shall come forth out of thine own bowels shall be thine heir.

Behold, the LORD’s word came to him, saying, “This man will not be your heir, but he who will come out of your own body will be your heir.”

Puis Il le conduisit dehors et dit : Regarde donc les cieux, et compte les étoiles, si tu peux les compter. Et Il lui dit : Telle sera ta postérité.

Y sacóle fuera, y dijo: Mira ahora á los cielos, y cuenta las estrellas, si las puedes contar. Y le dijo: Así será tu simiente.

And he brought him forth abroad, and said, Look now toward heaven, and tell the stars, if thou be able to number them: and he said unto him, So shall thy seed be.

The LORD brought him outside, and said, “Look now toward the sky, and count the stars, if you are able to count them.” He said to Abram, “So your offspring will be.”

Et il eut confiance dans l'Éternel, qui le lui imputa à justice.

Y creyó á Jehová, y contóselo por justicia.

And he believed in the LORD; and he counted it to him for righteousness.

He believed in the LORD, who credited it to him for righteousness.

Puis Il lui dit : Je suis l'Éternel qui t'ai fait sortir d'Ur en Chaldée pour te donner ce pays-ci en propriété.

Y díjole: Yo soy Jehová, que te saqué de Ur de los Caldeos, para darte á heredar esta tierra.

And he said unto him, I am the LORD that brought thee out of Ur of the Chaldees, to give thee this land to inherit it.

He said to Abram, “I am the LORD who brought you out of Ur of the Chaldees, to give you this land to inherit it.”

Et il dit : Seigneur Éternel, à quoi reconnaîtrai-je que je le posséderai ?

Y él respondió: Señor Jehová, ¿en qué conoceré que la tengo de heredar?

And he said, Lord GOD, whereby shall I know that I shall inherit it?

He said, “Lord GOD, how will I know that I will inherit it?”

Et Il lui dit : Amène-moi une génisse de trois ans et une chèvre de trois ans et un bélier de trois ans et une tourterelle et une colombe.

Y le dijo: Apártame una becerra de tres años, y una cabra de tres años, y un carnero de tres años, una tórtola también, y un palomino.

And he said unto him, Take me an heifer of three years old, and a she goat of three years old, and a ram of three years old, and a turtledove, and a young pigeon.

He said to him, “Bring me a heifer three years old, a female goat three years old, a ram three years old, a turtledove, and a young pigeon.”

Et il Lui amena tous ces †animaux, et il les coupa par le milieu, et plaça chacune des moitiés vis-à-vis de l'autre ; mais il ne coupa point les oiseaux.

Y tomó él todas estas cosas, y partiólas por la mitad, y puso cada mitad una enfrente de otra; mas no partió las aves.

And he took unto him all these, and divided them in the midst, and laid each piece one against another: but the birds divided he not.

He brought him all these, and divided them in the middle, and laid each half opposite the other; but he didn’t divide the birds.

Et les oiseaux de proie s'abattirent sur les moitiés, mais Abram leur donna la chasse.

Y descendían aves sobre los cuerpos muertos, y ojeábalas Abram.

And when the fowls came down upon the carcases, Abram drove them away.

The birds of prey came down on the carcasses, and Abram drove them away.

Et comme le soleil était près de se coucher, un profond sommeil assaillit Abram, et voici, une terreur, une obscurité profonde fondit sur lui.

Mas á la caída del sol sobrecogió el sueño á Abram, y he aquí que el pavor de una grande obscuridad cayó sobre él.

And when the sun was going down, a deep sleep fell upon Abram; and, lo, an horror of great darkness fell upon him.

When the sun was going down, a deep sleep fell on Abram. Now terror and great darkness fell on him.

Et Il dit à Abram : Il faut que tu saches que ta postérité séjournera dans un pays qui ne sera pas le sien, et auquel elle sera asservie et qui l'opprimera durant quatre cents ans.

Entonces dijo á Abram: Ten por cierto que tu simiente será peregrina en tierra no suya, y servirá á los de allí, y serán por ellos afligidos cuatrocientos años.

And he said unto Abram, Know of a surety that thy seed shall be a stranger in a land that is not theirs, and shall serve them; and they shall afflict them four hundred years;

He said to Abram, “Know for sure that your offspring will live as foreigners in a land that is not theirs, and will serve them. They will afflict them four hundred years.

Mais je jugerai aussi la nation à qui elle sera asservie, et après cela elle sortira avec une richesse considérable.

Mas también á la gente á quien servirán, juzgaré yo; y después de esto saldrán con grande riqueza.

And also that nation, whom they shall serve, will I judge: and afterward shall they come out with great substance.

I will also judge that nation, whom they will serve. Afterward they will come out with great wealth;

Mais toi, tu rejoindras tes pères en paix ; tu seras porté au tombeau dans une belle vieillesse.

Y tú vendrás á tus padres en paz, y serás sepultado en buena vejez.

And thou shalt go to thy fathers in peace; thou shalt be buried in a good old age.

but you will go to your fathers in peace. You will be buried at a good old age.

Et à la quatrième génération ils reviendront ici, car jusque-là l'iniquité des Amoréens ne sera pas à son comble.

Y en la cuarta generación volverán acá: porque aun no está cumplida la maldad del Amorrheo hasta aquí.

But in the fourth generation they shall come hither again: for the iniquity of the Amorites is not yet full.

In the fourth generation they will come here again, for the iniquity of the Amorite is not yet full.”

Et quand le soleil fut couché et qu'il fit sombre, voici, il y eut une fournaise fumante et une torche enflammée qui passèrent entre ces quartiers.

Y sucedió que puesto el sol, y ya obscurecido, dejóse ver un horno humeando, y una antorcha de fuego que pasó por entre los animales divididos.

And it came to pass, that, when the sun went down, and it was dark, behold a smoking furnace, and a burning lamp that passed between those pieces.

It came to pass that, when the sun went down, and it was dark, behold, a smoking furnace and a flaming torch passed between these pieces.

En ce jour-là l'Éternel conclut une alliance avec Abram et dit : Je donne ce pays à ta postérité depuis le fleuve d'Egypte jusqu'au grand fleuve, le fleuve Le Phrath,

En aquel día hizo Jehová un pacto con Abram diciendo: A tu simiente daré esta tierra desde el río de Egipto hasta el río grande, el río Eufrates;

In the same day the LORD made a covenant with Abram, saying, Unto thy seed have I given this land, from the river of Egypt unto the great river, the river Euphrates:

In that day the LORD made a covenant with Abram, saying, “I have given this land to your offspring, from the river of Egypt to the great river, the river Euphrates:

le pays des Kénites, et des Kénisites et des Cadmonites,

Los Cineos, y los Ceneceos, y los Cedmoneos,

The Kenites, and the Kenizzites, and the Kadmonites,

the land of the Kenites, the Kenizzites, the Kadmonites,

et des Héthiens et des Phérisiens et des Rephaïms

Y los Hetheos, y los Pherezeos, y los Raphaitas,

And the Hittites, and the Perizzites, and the Rephaims,

the Hittites, the Perizzites, the Rephaim,

et des Amorites et des Cananéens et des Gergésiens et des Jébusites.

Y los Amorrheos, y los Cananeos, y los Gergeseos, y los Jebuseos.

And the Amorites, and the Canaanites, and the Girgashites, and the Jebusites.

the Amorites, the Canaanites, the Girgashites, and the Jebusites.”
