Hernach erging das Wort des Herrn an Abram in einem Gesichte also: "Abram, fürchte dich nicht! Ich bin dir doch ein Schild; dein Lohn ist überreich."

DESPUÉS de estas cosas fué la palabra de Jehová á Abram en visión, diciendo: No temas, Abram; yo soy tu escudo, y tu galardón sobremanera grande.

After these things the word of the LORD came unto Abram in a vision, saying, Fear not, Abram: I am thy shield, and thy exceeding great reward.

After these things the LORD’s word came to Abram in a vision, saying, “Don’t be afraid, Abram. I am your shield, your exceedingly great reward.”

Da sprach Abram: "Herr, ach Herr, was kannst du mir geben, da ich doch kinderlos wandle? Ist doch der Sohn meines Haussklaven Eliezer der Erbesohn."

Y respondió Abram: Señor Jehová ¿qué me has de dar, siendo así que ando sin hijo, y el mayordomo de mi casa es ese Damasceno Eliezer?

And Abram said, Lord GOD, what wilt thou give me, seeing I go childless, and the steward of my house is this Eliezer of Damascus?

Abram said, “Lord GOD, what will you give me, since I go childless, and he who will inherit my estate is Eliezer of Damascus?”

Und Abram sprach: "Mir hast du ja keinen Nachkommen geschenkt; so wird mich mein Haussklave eben beerben."

Dijo más Abram: Mira que no me has dado prole, y he aquí que es mi heredero uno nacido en mi casa.

And Abram said, Behold, to me thou hast given no seed: and, lo, one born in my house is mine heir.

Abram said, “Behold, you have given no children to me: and, behold, one born in my house is my heir.”

Aber da erging das Wort des Herrn an ihn also: "Dieser wird dich nicht beerben; dein eigener Leibessprosse wird dich einst beerben."

Y luego la palabra de Jehová fué á él diciendo: No te heredará éste, sino el que saldrá de tus entrañas será el que te herede.

And, behold, the word of the LORD came unto him, saying, This shall not be thine heir; but he that shall come forth out of thine own bowels shall be thine heir.

Behold, the LORD’s word came to him, saying, “This man will not be your heir, but he who will come out of your own body will be your heir.”

Und er führte ihn ins Freie und sprach: "Blick auf zum Himmel und zähle die Sterne! Kannst du sie zählen?" Dann sprach er zu ihm: "Also wird auch dein Stamm sein."

Y sacóle fuera, y dijo: Mira ahora á los cielos, y cuenta las estrellas, si las puedes contar. Y le dijo: Así será tu simiente.

And he brought him forth abroad, and said, Look now toward heaven, and tell the stars, if thou be able to number them: and he said unto him, So shall thy seed be.

The LORD brought him outside, and said, “Look now toward the sky, and count the stars, if you are able to count them.” He said to Abram, “So your offspring will be.”

Und er glaubte dem Herrn, und dies erachtete er ihm als Verdienst.

Y creyó á Jehová, y contóselo por justicia.

And he believed in the LORD; and he counted it to him for righteousness.

He believed in the LORD, who credited it to him for righteousness.

Und er sprach zu ihm: "Ich bin der Herr, der dich aus Ur Kasdim geführt, um dir dies Land zu geben, damit du es besitzest."

Y díjole: Yo soy Jehová, que te saqué de Ur de los Caldeos, para darte á heredar esta tierra.

And he said unto him, I am the LORD that brought thee out of Ur of the Chaldees, to give thee this land to inherit it.

He said to Abram, “I am the LORD who brought you out of Ur of the Chaldees, to give you this land to inherit it.”

Da sprach er: "Herr, ach Herr! Woran erkenne ich, daß ich's besitzen soll?"

Y él respondió: Señor Jehová, ¿en qué conoceré que la tengo de heredar?

And he said, Lord GOD, whereby shall I know that I shall inherit it?

He said, “Lord GOD, how will I know that I will inherit it?”

Und er sprach zu ihm:"Hol mir jetzt eine dreijährige Kuh und eine dreijährige Ziege und einen dreijährigen Widder und eine Turteltaube sowie eine junge Taube!"

Y le dijo: Apártame una becerra de tres años, y una cabra de tres años, y un carnero de tres años, una tórtola también, y un palomino.

And he said unto him, Take me an heifer of three years old, and a she goat of three years old, and a ram of three years old, and a turtledove, and a young pigeon.

He said to him, “Bring me a heifer three years old, a female goat three years old, a ram three years old, a turtledove, and a young pigeon.”

Da holte er ihm diese alle. Dann zerlegte er sie mitten durch und legte jede Hälfte der anderen gegenüber; die Vögel aber hatte er nicht zerteilt.

Y tomó él todas estas cosas, y partiólas por la mitad, y puso cada mitad una enfrente de otra; mas no partió las aves.

And he took unto him all these, and divided them in the midst, and laid each piece one against another: but the birds divided he not.

He brought him all these, and divided them in the middle, and laid each half opposite the other; but he didn’t divide the birds.

Da stießen die Raubvögel auf die Tierleichen nieder; Abram aber scheuchte sie.

Y descendían aves sobre los cuerpos muertos, y ojeábalas Abram.

And when the fowls came down upon the carcases, Abram drove them away.

The birds of prey came down on the carcasses, and Abram drove them away.

Wie nun die Sonne im Untergehen war, befiel Abram ein Tiefschlaf, und eine schwere, dunkle Ahnung überkam ihn.

Mas á la caída del sol sobrecogió el sueño á Abram, y he aquí que el pavor de una grande obscuridad cayó sobre él.

And when the sun was going down, a deep sleep fell upon Abram; and, lo, an horror of great darkness fell upon him.

When the sun was going down, a deep sleep fell on Abram. Now terror and great darkness fell on him.

Da sprach er zu Abram. "Du sollst jetzt wissen: Dein Stamm wird Fremdling sein in einem Lande, das dir nicht eigen. Dann front er ihm, und dies bedrückt ihn an vierhundert Jahre.

Entonces dijo á Abram: Ten por cierto que tu simiente será peregrina en tierra no suya, y servirá á los de allí, y serán por ellos afligidos cuatrocientos años.

And he said unto Abram, Know of a surety that thy seed shall be a stranger in a land that is not theirs, and shall serve them; and they shall afflict them four hundred years;

He said to Abram, “Know for sure that your offspring will live as foreigners in a land that is not theirs, and will serve them. They will afflict them four hundred years.

Jedoch das Volk, dem sie dort fronen, das will ich richten. Dann ziehen sie mit reicher Habe aus.

Mas también á la gente á quien servirán, juzgaré yo; y después de esto saldrán con grande riqueza.

And also that nation, whom they shall serve, will I judge: and afterward shall they come out with great substance.

I will also judge that nation, whom they will serve. Afterward they will come out with great wealth;

Du aber gehst zu deinen Vätern ein im Frieden, zu deiner Grabesstatt in schönem Alter.

Y tú vendrás á tus padres en paz, y serás sepultado en buena vejez.

And thou shalt go to thy fathers in peace; thou shalt be buried in a good old age.

but you will go to your fathers in peace. You will be buried at a good old age.

Im vierten Gliede kehren sie hierher; noch ist nicht voll der Amoriter Maß."

Y en la cuarta generación volverán acá: porque aun no está cumplida la maldad del Amorrheo hasta aquí.

But in the fourth generation they shall come hither again: for the iniquity of the Amorites is not yet full.

In the fourth generation they will come here again, for the iniquity of the Amorite is not yet full.”

Dann ging die Sonne unter, und dichte Finsternis kam; da erschien ein rauchender Ofen und eine Feuerflamme, und zwischen jenen Stücken fuhr es durch.

Y sucedió que puesto el sol, y ya obscurecido, dejóse ver un horno humeando, y una antorcha de fuego que pasó por entre los animales divididos.

And it came to pass, that, when the sun went down, and it was dark, behold a smoking furnace, and a burning lamp that passed between those pieces.

An jenem Tag schloß der Herr mit Abram einen Bund mit den Worten: "Ich gebe deinem Stamme dieses Land vom Fluß Ägyptens bis zum großen Strom, dem Euphratstrom,

En aquel día hizo Jehová un pacto con Abram diciendo: A tu simiente daré esta tierra desde el río de Egipto hasta el río grande, el río Eufrates;

In the same day the LORD made a covenant with Abram, saying, Unto thy seed have I given this land, from the river of Egypt unto the great river, the river Euphrates:

In that day the LORD made a covenant with Abram, saying, “I have given this land to your offspring, from the river of Egypt to the great river, the river Euphrates:

das Gebiet der Keniter, Keniziter, Kadmoniter,

Los Cineos, y los Ceneceos, y los Cedmoneos,

The Kenites, and the Kenizzites, and the Kadmonites,

the land of the Kenites, the Kenizzites, the Kadmonites,

Chittiter, Periziter, Rephaiter

Y los Hetheos, y los Pherezeos, y los Raphaitas,

And the Hittites, and the Perizzites, and the Rephaims,

the Hittites, the Perizzites, the Rephaim,

und Amoriter, Kanaaniter, Girgasiter sowie Jebusiter."

Y los Amorrheos, y los Cananeos, y los Gergeseos, y los Jebuseos.

And the Amorites, and the Canaanites, and the Girgashites, and the Jebusites.

the Amorites, the Canaanites, the Girgashites, and the Jebusites.”
