Et l’Eternel dit à Abram : Sache comme une chose certaine que ta postérité habitera quatre cents ans comme étrangère dans un pays qui ne lui appartiendra point, et qu’elle sera asservie aux habitants du pays, et sera affligée ;
Entonces dijo á Abram: Ten por cierto que tu simiente será peregrina en tierra no suya, y servirá á los de allí, y serán por ellos afligidos cuatrocientos años.
And he said unto Abram, Know of a surety that thy seed shall be a stranger in a land that is not theirs, and shall serve them; and they shall afflict them four hundred years;
He said to Abram, “Know for sure that your offspring will live as foreigners in a land that is not theirs, and will serve them. They will afflict them four hundred years.
