Now the LORD had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father’s house, unto a land that I will shew thee:
Now the LORD said to Abram, “Leave your country, and your relatives, and your father’s house, and go to the land that I will show you.
y haré de ti una nación grande, y te bendeciré, y engrandeceré tu nombre, y serás bendición.

And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing:
I will make of you a great nation. I will bless you and make your name great. You will be a blessing.
Y bendeciré a los que te bendijeren, y a los que te maldijeren maldeciré: y serán benditas en ti todas las familias de la tierra.

And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.

Y se fue Abram, como Jehová le había dicho; y se fue con él Lot. Y Abram tenía setenta y cinco años cuando salió de Harán.
Y fuése Abram, como Jehová le dijo; y fué con él Lot: y era Abram de edad de setenta y cinco años cuando salió de Harán.
So Abram departed, as the LORD had spoken unto him; and Lot went with him: and Abram was seventy and five years old when he departed out of Haran.

Y tomó Abram a Sarai, su esposa, y a Lot hijo de su hermano, y todos sus bienes que habían ganado, y las almas que habían adquirido en Harán, y salieron para ir a la tierra de Canaán; y a la tierra de Canaán llegaron.

And Abram took Sarai his wife, and Lot his brother’s son, and all their substance that they had gathered, and the souls that they had gotten in Haran; and they went forth to go into the land of Canaan; and into the land of Canaan they came.

And Abram passed through the land unto the place of Sichem, unto the plain of Moreh. And the Canaanite was then in the land.

And the LORD appeared unto Abram, and said, Unto thy seed will I give this land: and there builded he an altar unto the LORD, who appeared unto him.
The LORD appeared to Abram and said, “I will give this land to your offspring.” He built an altar there to the LORD, who had appeared to him.
Y se pasó de allí a una montaña al oriente de Betel, y tendió su tienda, teniendo a Betel al occidente y Hai al oriente; y edificó allí un altar a Jehová e invocó el nombre de Jehová.
Y pasóse de allí á un monte al oriente de Bethel, y tendió su tienda, teniendo á Bethel al occidente y Hai al oriente: y edificó allí altar á Jehová, é invocó el nombre de Jehová.
And he removed from thence unto a mountain on the east of Beth-el, and pitched his tent, having Beth-el on the west, and Hai on the east: and there he builded an altar unto the LORD, and called upon the name of the LORD.
He left from there to go to the mountain on the east of Bethel and pitched his tent, having Bethel on the west, and Ai on the east. There he built an altar to the LORD and called on the LORD’s name.
Y partió Abram de allí, caminando y yendo aún hacia el sur.

Y aconteció que cuando estaba para entrar en Egipto, dijo a Sarai su esposa: He aquí, ahora conozco que eres mujer de hermoso parecer;

And it came to pass, when he was come near to enter into Egypt, that he said unto Sarai his wife, Behold now, I know that thou art a fair woman to look upon:
When he had come near to enter Egypt, he said to Sarai his wife, “See now, I know that you are a beautiful woman to look at.
Y será que cuando te vean los egipcios, dirán: Su esposa es; y me matarán a mí, y a ti te reservarán la vida.

Therefore it shall come to pass, when the Egyptians shall see thee, that they shall say, This is his wife: and they will kill me, but they will save thee alive.
It will happen that when the Egyptians see you, they will say, ‘This is his wife.’ They will kill me, but they will save you alive.

Y aconteció que, cuando entró Abram en Egipto, los egipcios vieron que la mujer era muy hermosa.

And it came to pass, that, when Abram was come into Egypt, the Egyptians beheld the woman that she was very fair.
When Abram had come into Egypt, some Egyptians saw that the woman was very beautiful.
La vieron también los príncipes de Faraón, y la alabaron delante de Faraón; y fue llevada la mujer a casa de Faraón.

E hizo bien a Abram por causa de ella; y él tuvo ovejas, vacas, asnos, siervos, criadas, asnas y camellos.

And he entreated Abram well for her sake: and he had sheep, and oxen, and he asses, and menservants, and maidservants, and she asses, and camels.

And the LORD plagued Pharaoh and his house with great plagues because of Sarai Abram’s wife.

Entonces Faraón llamó a Abram y le dijo: ¿Qué es esto que has hecho conmigo? ¿Por qué no me declaraste que era tu esposa?

Why saidst thou, She is my sister? so I might have taken her to me to wife: now therefore behold thy wife, take her, and go thy way.

Entonces Faraón dio orden a sus hombres acerca de Abram; y le acompañaron, y a su esposa con todo lo que tenía.

And Pharaoh commanded his men concerning him: and they sent him away, and his wife, and all that he had.
