Als dann eine Hungersnot im Lande ausbrach, zog Abram nach Ägypten hinab, um dort als Fremdling eine Zeitlang zu verbleiben; denn die Hungersnot lag schwer auf dem Lande.

Y hubo hambre en la tierra, y descendió Abram á Egipto para peregrinar allá; porque era grande el hambre en la tierra.

And there was a famine in the land: and Abram went down into Egypt to sojourn there; for the famine was grievous in the land.
