Gálatas 4

Ma allora non conoscendo Dio, eravate servi di quegli, i quali realmente non sono Dii.

Antes, en otro tiempo, no conociendo á Dios, servíais á los que por naturaleza no son dioses:

Howbeit then, when ye knew not God, ye did service unto them which by nature are no gods.

However at that time, not knowing God, you were in bondage to those who by nature are not gods.
