Ma avanti che venisse la fede eravamo custoditi sotto la legge, chiusi in aspettazione di quella fede, che doveva essere rivelata.

Empero antes que viniese la fe, estábamos guardados bajo la ley, encerrados para aquella fe que había de ser descubierta.

But before faith came, we were kept under the law, shut up unto the faith which should afterwards be revealed.

But before faith came, we were kept in custody under the law, confined for the faith which should afterwards be revealed.
