9Denn Knechte sind wir; doch hat uns unser Gott in unsrer Knechtschaft nicht verlassen, sondern hat uns die Gunst der Könige von Persien zugewandt, daß sie uns ein Aufleben schenkten, um das Haus unsres Gottes aufzubauen und seine Trümmer herzustellen, und daß sie uns eine Mauer gaben in Juda und Jerusalem.

9Porque siervos éramos: mas en nuestra servidumbre no nos desamparó nuestro Dios, antes inclinó sobre nosotros misericordia delante de los reyes de Persia, para que se nos diese vida para alzar la casa de nuestro Dios, y para hacer restaurar sus asolamientos, y para darnos vallado en Judá y en Jerusalem.

9For we were bondmen; yet our God hath not forsaken us in our bondage, but hath extended mercy unto us in the sight of the kings of Persia, to give us a reviving, to set up the house of our God, and to repair the desolations thereof, and to give us a wall in Judah and in Jerusalem.
