8Jetzt aber ist uns einen kleinen Augenblick von Jahwe, unserem Gotte, Gnade zu teil geworden, indem er uns eine Schar von Entronnenen übrig ließ und uns wiederum an seiner heiligen Stätte einen bleibenden Wohnsitz verlieh, damit unser Gott unsere Augen hell strahlen lasse und uns ein wenig neue Lebenskraft verleihe mitten in unserer Knechtschaft.

8Y ahora como por un breve momento fué la misericordia de Jehová nuestro Dios, para hacer que nos quedase un resto libre, y para darnos estaca en el lugar de su santuario, á fin de alumbrar nuestros ojos nuestro Dios, y darnos una poca de vida en nuestra servidumbre.

8And now for a little space grace hath been shewed from the LORD our God, to leave us a remnant to escape, and to give us a nail in his holy place, that our God may lighten our eyes, and give us a little reviving in our bondage.
