2Os homens de Israel casaram-se com mulheres dessas nações pagãs e as tomaram por esposas de seus filhos. Dessa maneira, o povo santo de Deus se misturou através desses casamentos mistos; e os líderes e oficiais foram os primeiros a se tornarem infiéis”.
