Estos son los líderes de las familias de sus antepasados quienes salieron de Babilonia conmigo durante el reinado del Rey Artajerjes.

Y ESTOS son los cabezas de sus familias, y genealogía de aquellos que subieron conmigo de Babilonia, reinando el rey Artajerjes:

These are now the chief of their fathers, and this is the genealogy of them that went up with me from Babylon, in the reign of Artaxerxes the king.

quien era de los descendientes de Secanías, que era de los descendientes de Paros; y Zacarías, y con el fueron anotados ciento cincuenta varones enumerados en los registros de su genealogía.

De los hijos de Sechânías y de los hijos de Pharos, Zacarías, y con él, en la línea de varones, ciento y cincuenta;

De los descendientes de Pahat Moab: Elioenai, hijo de Zerahías. Con él fueron registrados doscientos varones.

Aquellos de los descendientes de Adonicam vinieron luego. Estos fueron sus nombres: Elifelet, Jeiel, y Semaías. Con ellos vinieron sesenta varones.

Y de los hijos de Adonicam, los postreros, cuyos nombres son estos, Eliphelet, Jeiel, y Semaías, y con ellos sesenta varones;

And of the last sons of Adonikam, whose names are these, Eliphelet, Jeiel, and Shemaiah, and with them threescore males.

De los descendientes de Bigvai: Utai y Zabud. Con él fueron registrados setenta varones.

Y de los hijos de Bigvai, Utai y Zabud, y con ellos sesenta varones.

Esdras dijo: "Yo reuní a los viajeros en el canal que sale hacia Ahava, y acampamos allí tres días. Examiné al pueblo y a los sacerdotes, pero no pude encontrar descendientes de Leví allí.

Y juntélos junto al río que viene á Ahava, y reposamos allí tres días: y habiendo buscado entre el pueblo y entre los sacerdotes, no hallé allí de los hijos de Leví.

And I gathered them together to the river that runneth to Ahava; and there abode we in tents three days: and I viewed the people, and the priests, and found there none of the sons of Levi.

Entonces mandé a buscar a Eliezer, Ariel, Semaías, Elnatán, Jarib y Elnatán y Natán, Zacarías, y Mesulam, quienes eran jefes y a Joiarib y el Natán, quienes eran maestros.

Entonces despaché á Eliezer, y á Ariel, y á Semaías, y á Elnathán, y á Jarib, y á Elnathán, y á Nathán, y á Zacarías, y á Mesullam, principales; asimismo á Joiarib y á Elnathán, hombres doctos;

Then sent I for Eliezer, for Ariel, for Shemaiah, and for Elnathan, and for Jarib, and for Elnathan, and for Nathan, and for Zechariah, and for Meshullam, chief men; also for Joiarib, and for Elnathan, men of understanding.

Entonces los envié a Iddo, el jefe en Casifia. Yo les dije qué decirle a Iddo y a sus parientes, los sirvientes del templo que vivían en Casifia, ésto es, que nos enviaran sirvientes para la casa de Dios.

Y enviélos á Iddo, jefe en el lugar de Casipia, y puse en boca de ellos las palabras que habían de hablar á Iddo, y á sus hermanos los Nethineos en el lugar de Casipia, para que nos trajesen ministros para la casa de nuestro Dios.

And I sent them with commandment unto Iddo the chief at the place Casiphia, and I told them what they should say unto Iddo, and to his brethren the Nethinims, at the place Casiphia, that they should bring unto us ministers for the house of our God.

Así que nos enviaron por medio de la bondadosa mano de nuestro Dios un hombre llamado Serebías, un hombre prudente. Él era descendiente de Mahli, hijo de Leví, hijo de Israel. Él vino con dieciocho hijos y hermanos.

Y trajéronnos, según la buena mano de nuestro Dios sobre nosotros, un varón entendido de los hijos de Mahalí, hijo de Leví, hijo de Israel; y á Serabías con sus hijos y sus hermanos, dieciocho;

And by the good hand of our God upon us they brought us a man of understanding, of the sons of Mahli, the son of Levi, the son of Israel; and Sherebiah, with his sons and his brethren, eighteen;

Con él vino Hasabías. También estaban Jesaías, uno de los hijos de Merari, con sus hermanos y sus hijos, veinte hombres en total.

Y á Hasabías, y con él á Isaía de los hijos de Merari, á sus hermanos y á sus hijos, veinte;

And Hashabiah, and with him Jeshaiah of the sons of Merari, his brethren and their sons, twenty;

De aquellos asignados para servir en el templo, a quienes David y sus oficiales dieron para que sirvieran a los Levitas: doscientos veinte cada uno de ellos asignado por nombre.

Y de los Nethineos, á quienes David con los príncipes puso para el ministerio de los Levitas, doscientos y veinte Nethineos: todos los cuales fueron declarados por sus nombres.

Also of the Nethinims, whom David and the princes had appointed for the service of the Levites, two hundred and twenty Nethinims: all of them were expressed by name.

and of the temple servants, whom David and the princes had given for the service of the Levites, two hundred twenty temple servants. All of them were mentioned by name.

Entonces yo proclamé un ayuno en el Canal de Ahava para humillarnos delante de Dios, para buscar un camino recto de parte de Él para nosotros, nuestros pequeños y todas nuestras posesiones.

Y publiqué ayuno allí junto al río de Ahava, para afligirnos delante de nuestro Dios, para solicitar de él camino derecho para nosotros, y para nuestros niños, y para toda nuestra hacienda.

Then I proclaimed a fast there, at the river of Ahava, that we might afflict ourselves before our God, to seek of him a right way for us, and for our little ones, and for all our substance.

Sentí vergüenza de pedirle al rey un ejército o caballería para protegernos contra enemigos en el camino, ya que le habíamos dicho al rey: 'La mano de nuestro Dios está sobre aquellos que lo buscan para el bien, mas su poder e ira están sobre todos los que lo olvidan.'

Porque tuve vergüenza de pedir al rey tropa y gente de á caballo que nos defendiesen del enemigo en el camino: porque habíamos hablado al rey, diciendo: La mano de nuestro Dios es para bien sobre todos los que le buscan; mas su fortaleza y su furor sobre todos los que le dejan.

For I was ashamed to require of the king a band of soldiers and horsemen to help us against the enemy in the way: because we had spoken unto the king, saying, The hand of our God is upon all them for good that seek him; but his power and his wrath is against all them that forsake him.

For I was ashamed to ask of the king a band of soldiers and horsemen to help us against the enemy on the way, because we had spoken to the king, saying, “The hand of our God is on all those who seek him, for good; but his power and his wrath is against all those who forsake him.”

Así que ayunamos y buscamos a Dios acerca de ésto y le rogamos.

Ayunamos pues, y pedimos á nuestro Dios sobre esto, y él nos fué propicio.

So we fasted and besought our God for this: and he was intreated of us.

So we fasted and begged our God for this, and he granted our request.

Entonces yo seleccioné a doce hombres de entre los oficiales sacerdotales: Serebías, Hasabías y diez de sus hermanos.

Aparté luego doce de los principales de los sacerdotes, á Serebías y á Hasabías, y con ellos diez de sus hermanos;

Then I separated twelve of the chief of the priests, Sherebiah, Hashabiah, and ten of their brethren with them,

Pesé para ellos plata, oro y los objetos y ofrendas para la casa de Dios que el rey, sus consejeros y oficiales y todo Israel habían ofrecido libremente.

Y peséles la plata, y el oro, y los vasos, la ofrenda que para la casa de nuestro Dios habían ofrecido el rey, y sus consultores, y sus príncipes, y todos los que se hallaron en Israel.

And weighed unto them the silver, and the gold, and the vessels, even the offering of the house of our God, which the king, and his counsellors, and his lords, and all Israel there present, had offered:

Así que pesé en su mano seiscientos cincuenta talentos de plata, cien talentos de objetos de plata, cien talentos de oro,

I even weighed unto their hand six hundred and fifty talents of silver, and silver vessels an hundred talents, and of gold an hundred talents;

I weighed into their hand six hundred fifty talents of silver, one hundred talents of silver vessels, one hundred talents of gold,

veinte tazones valorados en mil dáricos y dos vasijas de bronce bien pulidas, preciosas como el oro.

Además veinte tazones de oro, de mil dracmas; y dos vasos de metal limpio muy bueno, preciados como el oro.

Also twenty basons of gold, of a thousand drams; and two vessels of fine copper, precious as gold.

twenty bowls of gold weighing one thousand darics, and two vessels of fine bright bronze, precious as gold.

Entonces yo les dije: 'Ustedes están consagrados al SEÑOR y estos objetos también. Y esta plata y oro son una ofrenda voluntaria al SEÑOR, el Dios de sus ancestros.

Y díjeles: Vosotros sois consagrados á Jehová, y santos los vasos; y la plata y el oro ofrenda voluntaria á Jehová, Dios de nuestros padres.

And I said unto them, Ye are holy unto the LORD; the vessels are holy also; and the silver and the gold are a freewill offering unto the LORD God of your fathers.

I said to them, “You are holy to the LORD, and the vessels are holy. The silver and the gold are a free will offering to the LORD, the God of your fathers.

Vélenlos y guárdenlos hasta que ustedes los pesen delante los oficiales sacerdotales, los Levitas, y los jefes de las familias de los ancestros de Israel en Jerusalén en las cámaras de la casa de Dios.

Velad, y guardadlos, hasta que los peséis delante de los príncipes de los sacerdotes y Levitas, y de los jefes de los padres de Israel en Jerusalem, en las cámaras de la casa de Jehová.

Watch ye, and keep them, until ye weigh them before the chief of the priests and the Levites, and chief of the fathers of Israel, at Jerusalem, in the chambers of the house of the LORD.

Watch and keep them until you weigh them before the chiefs of the priests, the Levites, and the princes of the fathers’ households of Israel at Jerusalem, in the rooms of the LORD’s house.”

Los sacerdotes y los Levitas aceptaron la plata y el oro pesados y los objetos a fin de llevarlos a Jerusalén, a la casa de nuestro Dios.

Los sacerdotes pues y Levitas recibieron el peso de la plata y del oro y de los vasos, para traerlo á Jerusalem á la casa de nuestro Dios.

So took the priests and the Levites the weight of the silver, and the gold, and the vessels, to bring them to Jerusalem unto the house of our God.

Salimos del Canal de Ahava en el duodécimo día del primer mes para ir a Jerusalén. La mano de nuestro Dios estaba sobre nosotros; Él nos protegió de la mano del enemigo y de los que deseaban tendernos una emboscada por el camino.

Y partimos del río de Ahava el doce del mes primero, para ir á Jerusalem: y la mano de nuestro Dios fué sobre nosotros, el cual nos libró de mano de enemigo y de asechador en el camino.

Then we departed from the river of Ahava on the twelfth day of the first month, to go unto Jerusalem: and the hand of our God was upon us, and he delivered us from the hand of the enemy, and of such as lay in wait by the way.

Entonces entramos a Jerusalén y nos quedamos allí por tres días.

Entonces en el cuarto día la plata, el oro, y los objetos fueron pesados en la casa de nuestro Dios en la mano de Meremot, hijo de Urías el sacerdote. Con él estaban Eleazar, hijo de Finees, Jozabad, hijo de Jesúa, y Noadías, hijo de Binúi el Levita.

Al cuarto día fué luego pesada la plata, y el oro, y los vasos, en la casa de nuestro Dios, por mano de Meremoth hijo de Urías sacerdote, y con él Eleazar hijo de Phinees; y con ellos Jozabad hijo de Jesuá, y Noadías hijo de Binnui, Levitas;

Now on the fourth day was the silver and the gold and the vessels weighed in the house of our God by the hand of Meremoth the son of Uriah the priest; and with him was Eleazar the son of Phinehas; and with them was Jozabad the son of Jeshua, and Noadiah the son of Binnui, Levites;

El número y el peso de todo fue determinado; todo el peso fue anotado en ese tiempo.

Por cuenta y por peso todo: y se apuntó todo aquel peso en aquel tiempo.

By number and by weight of every one: and all the weight was written at that time.

Everything was counted and weighed; and all the weight was written at that time.

Los que regresaron del cautiverio, el pueblo del exilio, ofrecieron ofrendas quemadas al Dios de Israel: doce novillos por todo Israel, noventa y seis carneros, setenta y siete corderos y doce machos cabríos como ofrenda por el pecado. Todo fue una ofrenda quemada para el SEÑOR.

Los que habían venido de la cautividad, los hijos de la transmigración, ofrecieron holocaustos al Dios de Israel, doce becerros por todo Israel, noventa y seis carneros, setenta y siete corderos, doce machos cabríos por expiación: todo en holocausto á Jehová.

Also the children of those that had been carried away, which were come out of the captivity, offered burnt offerings unto the God of Israel, twelve bullocks for all Israel, ninety and six rams, seventy and seven lambs, twelve he goats for a sin offering: all this was a burnt offering unto the LORD.

The children of the captivity, who had come out of exile, offered burnt offerings to the God of Israel: twelve bulls for all Israel, ninety-six rams, seventy-seven lambs, and twelve male goats for a sin offering. All this was a burnt offering to the LORD.

Entonces ellos le dieron los decretos del rey a los altos oficiales del rey y a los gobernadores más allá del Río y ellos ayudaron al pueblo y a la casa de Dios.

Y dieron los despachos del rey á sus gobernadores y capitanes del otro lado del río, los cuales favorecieron al pueblo y á la casa de Dios.

And they delivered the king’s commissions unto the king’s lieutenants, and to the governors on this side the river: and they furthered the people, and the house of God.

They delivered the king’s commissions to the king’s local governors and to the governors beyond the River. So they supported the people and God’s house.
