6Cet Esdras partit de Babylone ; il était scribe et très instruit en la loi de Moïse donnée par le Seigneur Dieu d'Israël. Et le roi le lui permit, parce que la main du Seigneur son Dieu était près de lui en tout ce qu'il demandait.

6This Ezra went up from Babylon; and he was a ready scribe in the law of Moses, which the LORD God of Israel had given: and the king granted him all his request, according to the hand of the LORD his God upon him.
